This is one of those businesses in Chicago that you wonder how they stay in business. I live right by Made and I’ve never once seen anybody in the store. They sell overpriced Jordan’s and blown glass. If that’s your thing then by all means. If you’re the other 99.9% move along

Not to be confused with that old MTV show where total dorks would try to be MADE into a pick up artist or whatever other stupid ambition they had. This MADE is completely cool through and through. It’s a glass shop/sneaker store/awesome art gallery thats one part hip hop and two parts hip-ster. They’ve got sweet graphic T’s, tons of straight bill hats, and all sorts of accessories for your body or your bong. Even if you don’t smoke weed or dress this way this place is totally worth stopping in for a look around. Just make sure you bring your wallet… their custom kicks can get up in the couple hundys price wise.

Mixed feelings about the purchase we made a few days ago and would highly recommend anyone to research specific shoe/price prior to actually buying from this store!!! That being said, we think supporting small local businesses is vital along with paying a reasonable price!!! Basically we purshased a pair of Nike Dunk Low Pro SB, seize 9.5 in black suede with turquoise for $ 140 and being it was the last pair, one of the shoes had been sitting on the shelf in the sun and had faded a bit!!! This shoe came out in 2012 and is priced at $ 65??? Basically, we paid 50% too much for an old pair of shoes, and they were not signed and faded in the sun w/o a discount!!! Boy, do we feel stupid for not researching this prior to actually buying the shoe:(

I peeked in here briefly after having brunch next door. I’m a self-proclaimed sneakerhead so when I saw the wall full of shoes I was intrigued. This place gets new sneakers in often(so I was told). Although it looked like they had a lot of options, there was only 1 size available in each shoe pretty much. At least each display was marked as such so you don’t run the risk of getting your hopes up for no reason. To my dismay, the prices are SKYHIGH and they didn’t have my size in anything anyway. I can’t say that it was a huge let down since I was just browsing, but in any case, this won’t become a spot I shop at for real. They also have t-shirts(I love tees too) but they weren’t really any on display so I had to sift through one by one to see what the graphics said… who has time for all that?! I lasted maybe 90 seconds. They also have a random variety of artsy stuff for sale… unique pictures, metal pieces, glass work, etc. It was definitely a hodge podge in there. Anyway, it’s a 2-star only because I like browsing boutiques, but I wouldn’t make a concerted effort to visit this spot, nor would I tell someone to check it out either. IJS… I have seen better.

Sad to say my first and final experience with this company was a horrible one! Ive never dealt with an employee who was soo unconcerned with helping me. My initial order(a very important christmas gift) was never shipped. Then when they did finally ship it 17 days later… it was the wrong product… I was promised a partial refund and have now been ignored for 2 weeks… the owner makes promises to fix things then doesn’t deliver and the employees don’t give a shit. Bummer… cause it seems like a cool place.

I usually only go to the glass shops around Clark/Belmont because I live right around the corner, but this place is soooooo worth the drive to Pilsen. They have some of the sickest one of a kind glass pieces I have seen in Illinois from a variety of local artists. They have pieces of all sizes and prices, and thats not all… they have alot of cool one of a kind shoes, cool shirts, and other art pieces from local artists. I try to make it in here at least once every month or two, I def recommend you check it out if you’ve never been in or if it’s been a while. I know the really colorful, beautiful custom skull they had was stolen during a break in, and I really hope they get that back, there is only one of them I think, so hopefully it will come up… and shame on whoever took it!

Made is the best place in Chicago for awesome glass, jewelry, and unique clothing. Now they carry rare and unusual sneakers, too! I always have a great time at their amazing parties, where you can have a chance to meet the artists and see their work. Definitely stop by and up your game!

Made is the place to go if you’re looking for impressive, artistic work unique to any glass store in Chicago. Also offering hats and clothing, Made truly has it all. And if you’re feeling adventurous they also host parties which are exhibitions for both local and visiting glass blowing artists. As true to any place, you get what you pay for and if you’re willing to spend the extra money, you will find things that are truly different than any other shop in Chicago.

I broke my slide this morning while cleaning my tube. Local«entry-level» smoke shop wasn’t open so I gave MADE a call. They’re working Riot Fest this weekend and are not open but I live just a few blocks away and luckily someone was there when I called. I think his name was Ed. anyway, cool guy, let me come down and grab a dope slide for a good price. Thanks a lot guys, you’ve just made a repeat customer. No pun intended.

Besides their awesome parties they throw for customers, they really do have the best glass, artwork, jewelry and clothing around! Huge selection, you will walk out buying at least two items every time is my guess. And you will want to, everyone who works there is fantabulous! They carry a lot of up and coming companies that you will want to know about that possibly none of your friends do yet. Legit prices with great customer service — I try to stop by everytime I am in town.

I can’t help but give this place 5 stars because it totally wowed me. The first time I went there the co-owner offered me a cup cake(which was awesome since I love cupcakes) and he was very helpful with helping me in my selection of christmas gifts. I like how they don’t hound you to buy something but they are just chilled and keep it comfortable. I was super exicited when I bought the bleeding hyena posters. I love how they support local artists and have easy parking.
