This is my number one spot now the workers are friendly ! And I love their fresh juice all natural

People working there on a Sunday at the end of September were phenomenal. Food was fresh and the music was good. Very pleasant. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat!

They gave me a sample of the mango frozen yogurt. Really good.
I’ve had smoothies, painis and wraps here. They have snacks, too. It’s all good

I seriously have been looking for a place like this in the loop for years! A salad that isn’t aner with two strawberries for 17.99
This place has everything you can want for your salad if you know what you like down to the science (which I do). I am SO bummed out to see that review with the plastic glove (EW) and I’m really hoping it isn’t real because I love this place!

Mac Kelly’s is my spot! Super close to school so during the semester I’m there 2 – 3 times a week. Tons of healthy, vegetarian options make this girl happy. The staff is nice and the place is clean as well!

This place only gets 2 stars instead of 1 because I love their juices and smoothies. The place always looks a mess, the ambiance is very underwhelming, and the products are not merchandised well. It seriously looks like it was all thrown together at the last minute just to get the store open, with no thought into the look of it. I have walked to this location in the freezing cold multiple times to find the door locked well before the closing time (7:30). Tonight, I got there at 6:20! The girl inside was counting the money and wouldn’t even look up and make eye contact with me. No signage was posted about ANY change in hours, if there was supposed to be. I am so very disappointed because I was excited for a juice shop in South Loop (my neighborhood) but will have to venture elsewhere or find somewhere new nearby. My suggestion as a culinary marketing professional: make it at least seem like you want to be open and inviting to customers. Restaurants close down in Chicago way too fast to be acting so nonchalant about your services.

Great food, great service, fresh ingredients. Best oatmeal. They have really great coffee.

Last time I ordered there, I found a complete plastic glove inside my burrito. What concerned me the most is that the manager did not seem too worried when I showed the picture to her. She told me my next meal would be free. She didn’t see that after something like that, there can’t be a next meal.
It’s too bad, because I really like the concept of the store.

I am a fairly regular customer at Mac Kellys and I usually get healthy salads and bowls from Mac Kellys. Yesterday (¹²⁄₁₀) I ordered a salad without cheese and once it was made I took my order to go. Actually I took the order and first walked over to my house to get something and then walked to the bus stop past Mac Kelly (about 20 mins later). Suddenly I hear a voice by me — the store employee Gina (I think that’s her name) ran from her store about 2 blocks to bring me a replacement salad because the one she had given me had cheese in it (I had asked for no cheese). In fact she had already refunded the amount to me which I didn’t see at that point in time and then she gave me both salads to boot because she made a mistake. I call that exemplary customer service and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness behind it. (in fact it was a crazy day with the fire at the restaurant near by and the area was filled with fire trucks and ambulances, etc). Had to mention this experience here. I do hope people read this and start going into the store more because we need them to do well and continue to make healthy meals for me so I don’t need to cook (Just kidding!)
