the lady from mikes hair design messed up my extensions. She clearly didn’t know anything about them when she was about to «put» them on me in front of the owner. She looked so unexperienced. Didn’t even give me ENOUGH clips for my extensions. I felt so disappointed. She was really rude too while mike was in Miami. I believe her name was Maria.

I gave this salon 2 chances. The first time I went there, I made the mistake of going on a Saturday. There were too many people and not enough seats in the waiting area. When they finally got around to taking care of me, I got shuffled around to 5 different people. The owner is incredibly rude and expects you to know what color you want and what kind of cut you want. If you don’t know or only give him a rough idea, he looks visibly irritated. It took them forever to apply the hair color and after sitting for 3 hours in the chair, I got to sit some more and watch the whole staff sit and eat in front of me. Once the color was done, they flat ironed my hair before they cut it because apparently he doesn’t know or want to cut wet hair. I asked them not to flat iron my hair and they said he wouldn’t cut it if it wasn’t ironed! Anyway, I finally got the hair cut and it was mediocre at best. The color was ok but not what I wanted at all. I could have achieved the same result with a box color from TARGET. The worst came when I had to pay. It was almost $ 250 dollars for the worst customer service and mediocre cut and color of my life. Despite the above, I gave them a second chance because my husband likes the place and he said maybe I would have a better experience on a Weekday when they are less busy. So, I made an appointment on a Tuesday for cut and color again and gave them another try. BIGMISTAKE. Once again, the owner made me feel like crap because apparently the picture I showed of the color I wanted didn’t give him a good enough idea of what I wanted. I showed him a picture of what I wanted!!! After asking me several questions about what I liked and didn’t like, I told him to just make my hair look like the picture. He then pawned me off on some other colorist there who, to be honest, didn’t appear to know what she was doing because she kept asking me questions. She then began to apply the color and it took them 3HOURS to apply the color. 3 hours!!! My butt hurt so much from sitting for so long. Anyway, they then proceeded to rinse the color out and it wasn’t what they wanted so they kept putting some other color in my hair while I was at the sink. Since I had been there almost 3.5 hours and had to pick up my kids from school, they rinsed my hair, charged me and told me to come back for my haircut. When I got home, I was absolutely livid. My hair was over processed and it looked like someone had taken a paintbrush with bleach and applied in splotches. It’s the worst color job I have ever ever received. I had to go to another salon where they had to first repair the damage with a special treatment and then fix the color and last, cut my hair. My gut told me not to go back there but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. All I have to say is NEVERAGAIN. All the owner cares about is letting everyone and their mother know that he does hair for TV models on Univision and he thinks he’s so great. I hate when good stylists let their success go to their head and this is clearly what happened here. I will never go back to this salon and I will make sure that I tell all my friends to never go here. Ridiculous, Ridiculous place with the worst customer service EVER!!!

This is probably the salon with the worst customer service you will find. Sure the haircuts are fine but if you like to be treated disrespectfully then this is the place to go. The stylist, especially the owner expects you to be a haircut specialist and know exactly what you want rather than putting in some creativity and interpreting your inspiration and turning it into something beautiful. Apart from that his arrogance is through the roof and will constantly be making you feel like less of a person if you allow him to. On one occasion I came into the salon to discuss my mothers burnt hair from the drying and styling and he insisted that he couldn’t do anything since he was only responsible for the haircut… But isn’t the owner responsible for everything that happens in the salon? He couldn’t seem to comprehend that and wanted to go straight to litigation rather than admitting some fault. Honestly…, you’re better off going somewhere else unless you want a loud salon with people yelling at each other while being disrespectful to the clients.

Que pena que el dueño/estilista le importe tan poco su clientela! El servicio que se les brinda a los clientes es una vergüenza pero como ya lo he comprobado eso no le importa a el. Me a tocado ir tres veces a este salon y nomas regresaba porque Mike corta el pelo bien pero su actitud y manera de manejar el salon es una pena. Cita a gente muy seguidita y siempre he terminado esperando. Otra cosa nomas hay un solo sillón(de max 3 personas) para esperar y considerando que tienen 3 – 4 estilistas siempre hay clientes parados esperando. Mike se la pasa gritándoles a los trabajadores y la ultima ves que fue si la paso gritándole a su sobrino que es otro con cara de que no quiere estar ahi. Cuando me toco pagar me pare en el mostrado y el sobrino estaba tan entretenido en su cel que ni cuanta se dio que ahi estaba — que tipo de servicio es ese?!? Los cortos siempre han sido buenos pero si le llevas una foto de inspiracion(y nomas inspiración) la quiere recrear exactito — no estoy pidiendo el corte exacto pero el parece que no tiene creatividad para hacerte un corte inspirado en lo que una lleva. También que sea un salon Paul Mitchell se creen que son la ultima coca-cola del desierto pero no es así y que pena que Paul Mitchell no sepa la poca clase que tiene este salon y que le ponga su nombre a un lugar como este. Como se darán cuenta si quieren ser tratados como que no merecen un buen servicio este es el salon perfecto para ustedes — yo no vuelvo jamas!
