Although the service here was attentive, everything took FOREVER to accomplish. I really do not enjoy nail places that say«Sure, come in, pick your color» only to make you sit in a pedicure chair for 30 minutes waiting for someone to finish with another customer. I’d rather just go somewhere else or make an appointment and come back if that’s the case. Once my pedicure began, the treatment was nice but SOSLOW. I was going to get a mani/pedi but I literally had NO time to stay for the manicure because the pedicure took almost an hour. No pedicure should take an hour unless it’s one of those fancy spa ones and this was not. Again, the pedicure was nice(though nothing super special that would have warranted an hour’s worth of work) but it wasn’t nice enough for me to come back since it took so long. Maybe if I’d had a different technician I would have been able to get the manicure, too, but I needed to leave and run to another appointment. I can’t see myself coming back here even though it’s close to a few things I do in the area. It’s just too slow and the service isn’t that amazing that it would be worth it to take up so much of a person’s time.

$ 55 for no chip + pedicure, great price! No wait, nail tech was very polite, personable, and spent the time to make sure my nails looked just right. Also-they have a ton of color choices for no-chip. I think I found my new place!

They looked great and we’re really nice BUT for a no chip mani to only last 6 days isn’t so great, so sadly they lost some major points.

Went in for a quick pedicure. Technician(duh– did not get her name) was very good, so considerate of my broken ankle(yup– I still needed a pedicure though), sweet and friendly. Convenient location and I’ll be returning.

Finally found my neighborhood nail spot! They are efficient, thoughtful and service orientated. The pedi was relaxing and my no-chip looks great. Will def be back here for all my routine nail needs.

They can always take me when I don’t have an appointment and I am always happy with my nails when I leave. It’s relaxing here and doesn’t smell like a salon, which is nice.

It’s always difficult to find a consistently good nail spot but so far Lux Nails has me coming back for more! I’ve had great manicures and pedicures here and the space is very clean and welcoming. Great polish selection and good prices!

Love this place! ERIK is great!(I’m sure Danny is too!) they take their time and really are quite the perfectionists(which I love!) AND it’s BYOB which is even more fun! Great prices, royalty punch cards(way better than all the nail spots up and down southport) and like everyone else said, more sanitary as compared to other places I’ve been. No need to take my word for it… try it out yourselves. you’ll be back ;)

One of the best manicure’s I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot from someone who has gotten them regularly for the last 20 years. I have very thin nails and sensitive cuticles. They are so gentle and the manicure lasts over a week. Excited to see how long the no-chip lasts as I’ll be getting that next week. Stay tuned!

After several bad no chips from my usual nail salon, I searched on Unilocal and found this place. Very clean and sanitary(much different from my other place). I had a lovely no chip from Phoebe. Super sweet and professional. Definitely recommend. I now have a new place.

I really really dig this spot. It was clean and SANITARY!!! All tools were fresh from the uv sanitizer thingy. I had man/pedi from Erik Who was pretty damned good No knicks or cuts on my cuticles, nice leg, foot and hand massage, with perfect painting of the nails to top it off!
