Lucky Lil’ Darlings

I cannot speak highly enough about Lucky Lil Darlings. My husband and I have used them several times now and every time they send us a wonderful sitter. They respond to my requests right away and have found us sitters in less than 24 hours before! We even used them during a trip to NYC! Lindsay Bell is super friendly and wonderful to work with. She sends you the sitter’s resume along with a picture so you can get to know your sitters better. Definitely recommend this service!

Lucky Lil Darlings (LLD) sitter service has been our go-​to for sitters for a little over a year now. Every experience we’ve had has been great. We’ve definitely found some favorites but when they’re not available we completely trust whomever LLD sends our way.
Each sitter we’ve worked with has been bright, personable, well-​spoken and high energy. My son has played games, walked to the park, been taught how to play volleyball, made crafts and more with LLD sitters. No TV watching here!
Any time I hear someone worrying about finding a sitter or nanny, I immediately recommend LLD. The sitters are screened thoroughly, the booking process is easy and the booking fee minimal. I was in a crunch. It was a Friday afternoon and my husband I were getting ready to go out, with our friends, and our sitter canceled. Remembering that a close friend of mine used Lucky Lil’ Darlings several times and has been very happy with the service, I contacted Lindsey Bell (Chicago’s city coodinator) and she responded within minutes letting me know that she was on the case. Shortly there after, I received an email saying that she had booked a sitter (who is a teacher by day) and that it was the same sitter that my friend uses regularly. This immediately put me at ease since I really trust my friend and her judgement and our children are very similar in personality.
The sitter showed up right on time and was very pleasant and professional. She immediately got down to my four year old’s level and started interacting with him without a hitch. When I saw that I felt more than confident leaving him with her. While we were out she texted us to let us know that he was sound asleep in his bedroom and to enjoy our time out. We texted her to let her know we were running a little later than expected and she responded telling us not to rush. I really appreciated the flexibility that she provided. We returned to a fully picked up house and a sleeping child.
