I’m a first time Mom having given birth to my baby daughter, Alyssa, this summer. My husband and I knew that we would always go to Bonnie when my maternity leave was up after 15 weeks because our friends’ son had been with her for more than a year and they love her.(CJ’s review is on here as well and he covers the nuts and bolts of Bonnie’s setup.) As the end of my leave drew near I was very apprehensive about taking Alyssa to daycare, but the moment we met Bonnie we knew everything would be ok; that Alyssa would be in good hands. She understood that it would be really hard for me. She cried when I cried and she let me call and email during the day as much as I wanted(of course not during nap time though!). But seriously, to find someone who knows what it’s like to be away from your child and to be so incredibly supportive of it is priceless. Bonnie feels like family. I feel like I’m leaving Alyssa in the care of a family member and you can’t pay for that kind of peace of mind. But most important of all is that Alyssa took to her in a snap. Alyssa did not have an adjustment period at all. She sleeps through naptime and when we pick her up in the afternoon she is always in a fab mood. Thank you Bonnie for taking such good care of our little girl! And all of the other beautiful kids at LTLL too!

I am a first time Father so it took some exploration and luck, frankly, to find a home day care for my son that I connected with. I was looking for a place that was licensed. With a moderate amount of kids. With a routine and a learning atmosphere that was similar to a pre-school. I also was looking for a place that was affordable, frankly, as many of the other places I looked at were prohibitively expensive. I was also looking for a person who shared my sensibilities: a straight shooter who will tell you how the day went, good or bad. I found all of these at Bonnies day care. She is a former pre-school teacher who revolves her day around set activities. She commands respect from the kids she cares for but clearly loves them all, which is evident by the kids who drape themselves over her. My son is only six months old, but I look forward to him growing as a person at Bonnies day care.
