No quejas aqui(no complaints from this gringo). Fresh made quesadillas with a multitude of meat/veg/cheese options awaiting your interior design. The Cochinita Pibil and Pierna were my recent conquests, both of which came generously filled with tender marinated pork, melted queso, and rojo sauce. Not that I’ve been to Mexico and could attest to their authenticity, but the recipes seemed to be genuine. Small inside, so forget the business luncheon. A homely diner undoubtedly worthy of a top ten quesadilla list, if one exists. Grab a couple quecas and a can of pop. An instant fan has been made. Gracias

Nice cozy place for a quick bite if you’re in the area. Will I drive here from far away? NO. It’s a big freshly made quesadilla but it was missing that extra umph! Nada to say omg I must repeat I must bring a friend. But I will say I like the place it’s comfortable. For the neighborhood it was nice to find a venue like this. I was almost complete dissapointed about this restaurant but i had a glorious baked good. I think this person is in the wrong business. They should open up a bakery. I had the best cookie here at the end of my meal. So good I want to go back just to purchase another. It’s was two freshly baked cookies filled with cajeta and OMG! Does anyone know where the restaurant purchases them? Thats if they do and if they don’t they seriously should open up a bakery. 2 stars just because of cookie :)

Drove an hour to check this place out. Sorry but not what i expected. Horrible service. Cashier in a bad mood. Paid $ 39 for my sister, mom, and I. Tortilla was like a maseca made tortilla real thin. Need not say more. Never coming back.

Good service and delicious food only bad thing is that you have to eat in the bar or wait long time to get a table also they don’t have a restroom if you need to wash your hands or used the restroom they send you to the restaurant next door.

We came for breakfast on a Friday morning about 10. It was almost a spiritual experience. Which was a good thing since the walls are filled with saints eyeing you eyeing them. We had a variety of coffees — the Mexican coffee was best — and a number of egg dishes: Huevo rancheros Chilaquiles, the chef’s special with grilled plantains, and my run-of-the-mill chorizo scrambled with home-made tortillas. Delicious. All of it. And great staff on top of it all. We walked out completely satisfied for $ 8 bucks each. What a great place. I read the reviews on the parking situation — we didn’t have a problem — lots of neighborhood parking at this time of day.

Not what I expected when I ordered a quesadilla, and it was delicious. They use home-made tortillas – which you can see them making from the open-floor plan layout of the restaurant – and give you plenty of topping options. And they’re cheap! I had an entire meal for $ 6, including my drink! I definitely recommend it. Not the ‘prettiest’ place to eat, but the food is definitely worth the trip down to Little Village!

This place has been in the news because of the celebrity’s sibling owning this but aside from that, its probably the only thing anyone can say. I came just to see what the hype was all about. I dont think the quesadillas or quecas as they call them is anything to rave about. The place is small and staff seems to be in a zoning out type of mood. The table I sat at, I had to ask for them to clean it, twice. When it still appeared to be dirty, I decided I would make not sit I would just stand and wait for my order TOGO. I ordered the quesadilla with the rajas poblano which means sliced poblabo chile. Once my order was ready, I go home and bite into it. Bland, so I add the salsa to it. It tastes good. I dont know how a business stays open on just quesadillas but hey next time Im too lazy to make a 4minute quesadilla, ill come here to pay for a quesdilla(sarcasm). I gave this place 3 stars because the quesdilla was good. There is no parking lot, so you will have to drive in circles looking for parking. The woman I asked if she can clean the table, gave me an attitude. I even apologized for having to have her clean, even though I didnt feel like I should apologize. I just didnt want anyone spitting in my food :/. I highly suggest to add more mexican dishes if you want more business. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and was the only customer.

Just so good. And extremely affordable. You must also try the café de olla. The place is kind of small but extremely clean.

Excellent quesadillas! Love the homemade tortilla, so chewy and delicious. The mushroom quesadilla is a real treat for the rare vegetarians that roam Little Village. A visit here will not disappoint.

Wanted to give this place a try so we ordered a few quecas. The cashier/waitress was nice. It was hard to tell what was what(except the nopales & papa con chorizo) since everything was in a red sauce. I think adding the condiments will definitely make them tastier. My guy didn’t really care too much for the café de olla… he said it seemed a bit sweet like they put honey in it. I wished the Mexican Coke was colder. Overall, the prices are great and food wasn’t bad. *Not the restaurants fault, but wished the customers would learn to close the salsa cover when they are done using it. Maybe they can write a sign for that. Also, maybe they can give cups or a little plate so we can put the condiments on and bring it back to the table.

I’m on a mission to introduce everyone I know in Chicago to this place. Best of all is probably the café de olla(spiced coffee) though the last time I was there they gave it to me in styrofoam rather than the pretty cups. Pretty cup plz? I love everything I’ve tried, but especially the flor de calabaza. Also good were cochinita pibil and huitlacoche. My only complaint with the nopales was that they come blazing hot, and I eat spicier food than almost anyone I know. Guys, can we calm it down a little and let customers add some salsa if they want? I also love the different salsas and vegetables, including the spicy onions.

I saw this restaurant on facebook one day and i told ny husband to go there so we finally went there once and it could of been better :/i really wanted my quesadilla to be a little bit more crispy and they were really soggy. The quesadillas were already made they were just waiting to get filled with food also the tamarindo water i got didn’t have as much flavor so if there’s a next time i wont get tamarindo water.

My wife and I were so hesitated to try the quecas because we saw it on facebook they looked delicious so we decicided to go try them. We got to the place and it looked good and clean so we took a sit and the guy told us that we had to order and pick up in front when they call our name so We got disappointed because we were expecting a waitress plus we thought that the quesadillas were amazing just the way it says on facebook but we were wrong, they were cold they were already made just waiting to be filled with food and the little serve yourself station was not expected for a restaurant i’ve never seen something like that. sorry but i got extremely dissapointed and We’ll never be back :(the only good thing was the counter service, the guy was nice.

The best Quesadillas so far in the Chicago area. the salsa bar it’s good but they need to have cups so you can take the salsas with you to your table otherwise every time you want more salsa you have to return to the salsa bar again. the down side that I don’t like the plastic bags they use to cover the plates.

Came here the week it opened to check it out. There are booths to the right and left of the small but cozy restaurant. There is a menu above the register. You order first, pay, and then take a seat. They will call your name when your order is ready. The food is good. These are quesadillas made by hand with masa and the filling you desire of steak, chicharron prensado, plain cheese and other fillings. The downside is there are no beans!!! No beans! I understand a typical quesadilla has only cheese but as a Mexican I prefer beans with most of my Mexican dishes. The quesadillas do not lack cheese. The cheese melts perfectly! There is also a salsa bar. There is a choice of pickled onion, and many different salsas ranging from mild to super spicy. Overall it was a nice place. Good food. During my visit I tried the chicharron prensado in green salsa, and chorizo with potato.
