Lana’s Waxing

I went to see Lana for my very first bikini wax 5+ years ago. One of my friends had told me she was the ONLY esthetician to see in Chicago and I couldn’t agree more. As a testament to her tremendous skill and expertise, my friend now lives in DC but still comes to see Lana for waxing whenever she’s in town since she hasn’t found anyone as reputable in DC. At my first visit, I was clearly nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but Lana quickly put me at ease, answering all of my questions and providing me with much-​needed direction. I couldn’t believe how quick and painless a brazilian wax could be! I’ve continued to see Lana every 6 weeks ever since (over 5 years now) and don’t know what I’d do without her! She’s an absolute pleasure and makes what could be a painful experience, nothing but positive and pain-​free. In addition to my brazilian waxing, she’s also recently taken control of my eyebrows (which had never been professionally groomed). We’re in the process of growing them out and Lana shapes and trims them each time I see her. Although we’re only a few months into what I understand will be a somewhat long process, they already look infinitely better each month with Lana’s help. In terms of location, Lana works at a salon & spa in the Gold Coast (100 E. Walton, 3^rd floor). The salon is well-​kept and very easy to get to. All in all, I couldn’t recommend Lana more!

Lana is the absolute best esthetician anywhere. I have been to the most selective salons throughout the US and Europe and she is the most efficient and best esthetician that I have ever had. I will only have my bikini waxes done now in Chicago with her. She does everything from eyelash tinting, eyebrow shaping to brazilian waxing. I could not recommend her more highly. If you have not gone to her salon, go!
She is an absolute star.
