Joe’s Cleaner’s & Tailor Shop

Okay it is now 2011 and the whole drop it off and have it fast is now out the window!
I noticed the new sign that stated pants for $ 3 so I said; okay I have three pairs why not. It was Tuesday and I was told by Friday pants would be ready after 12. So here comes Friday, as I do have to be out and about on Saturday. But Friday came and it was 12:30 PM and when I came in, I noticed one of my pants being taken out of a bag and pressed right in front of me…
Not cool Mister Joe! That was no no number one to get a review that would hurt! And trust me, I was calm and he ran around «looking for my other pair of pants. NO NO # 2, never mess with a customer on lunch hour, than came NO NO # 3, he said can you come back tomorrow? Oh lord, please hold my tongue so that I don’t start spitting flames because tomorrow was my function and I had no more pants to fit the ensemble I was going to wear. Being very fashion forward, I NEEDED to wear those Dolce and Gabbanas Dammit! But I digress!
I stormed out of there as nervous as a virgin waiting to ride the bumper cars! But I didn’t even look back because by then, it was apparent that I would not be getting my D&G’s or for that matter, the rest of my personal belongings in a timely fashion.
Well needless to say I came back on Tuesday and he said «Oh I’m so sorry here is $ 3 back! WHAT, now you are insulting my intelligence? Thanks to you and your wrecked up signs, I had to buy a new pair of D&G’s for the occasion (And might I add these are ever nicer then the 1^st) but damn I shelled out another $ 250 on a pair of pants!
Moral: If the sign says «ready in 1 day» DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT, be weary and I should of listened to my co workers, this place is known for LYING about deliverance! Oh, now I need a church for confession because I am reliving the past!

Dropped a dress shirt off here as a test since a friend lives nearby. I dropped off the shirt on Monday and came back Thursday to pick it up (was supposed to be ready on Tuesday). Well the first problem was that the owner lost the shirt (yes I had my ticket) he said to come back in about 15 – 20 min and he’d have the shirt found. 30 min later I come back and he found the shirt, but it hadn’t been cleaned yet and to come back in another 20 min. I come back and find the shirt hot off the press, but it didn’t look like it had been cleaned. There was a TON of lint on the shirt and it took two sheets from my lint roller to remove it all. :(I won’t be back due to this experience.
