Awesome service. Wasn’t paying attention to what time it was and I showed up half an hour before they opened and they let me in and order a sandwich anyway. Thanks for accommodating!

I walked into this Jimmy Johns at 4:40pm today and as soon as I walked in I was asked if I was picking up a carry out order. When I said no the man sweeping the rug by the door stepped directly in front of me and rudely informed me that they were closing soon so if I wasn’t picking up an order then they couldn’t help me. Their hours say they close at 7 and even if they close at 5 I was still in long before then. Extremely rude and ridiculous, won’t be returning to this Jimmy Johns.

I ordered for delivery expecting it to be around 15 minutes or less because this is half a mile where I work now. I clock out around 15 minutes waiting for my lunch expecting it to arrive anytime. I called at 25 minutes later where they said they’re coming. 10 minutes later still not here and called again for them to tell me they run of bread? It took so long for my sammy to arrive that I only had ten minutes to eat it.

Great place to get a sandwich, and quick. I have eaten here a plethora of times! This particular store makes some of the best sandwiches on the weekdays. On the weekends though, sometimes the bread is harder /cooked more and the product is not as enjoyable. I would never cease to enjoy food from this shop as long as the practices and prices stay the same. This store has also delivered to me in Bridgeport past their delivery zone, and they even sometimes recognize me when I walk in to order a sandwich. 4 Stars for consistency!

Everything you can expect from JJ — quality and consistency, no matter where the location is! This is usually not that crowded unless its on days with a Sox Game I think. The staff if friendly, and quick with their service as JJ promises. Definitely a boon to that area as there are not many food options around. A caveat though… since I have only done in-store pick-ups I am only speaking to that and things have been great here.

I’m sorry, Char O., but not every sandwich I eat for lunch can come from Potbelly. I know I’m supposed to have brand loyalty, but my office is not close enough for that when lunchtime rolls around. But then again, we’re just outside of this Jimmy John’s delivery zone, so me and the Lunch Crew hop in one of their cars and come here when it’s sandwich time and the thought of Subway makes our stomachs churn(and sometimes it doesn’t). And we wind up here, where parking is a bit of a nightmare(thanks to construction for the past few months), but we can get inside where it’s nice and cool and get a sandwich, some chips, and a drink — then veg out and chow down and ignore the seeping dread that at some point we have to get back in the car and go back to work… I’d love to tell you all about the menu, but I really only order one thing: the Club Lulu with no tomato, add dijon and add onions. Gimme the chips(BBQ Jimmy Chips) and a drink for the fountain(3 parts Diet Coke, 2 parts Sprite and 1 part Pink Lemonade) and let me sit down and enjoy. A few things I’ve noticed: 1) We’re weekday office lunching people, so I guess it’s not unthinkable that EVERYTIME we come here, the same lady is working the register, the same girl is working the sandwich line, and the same dude is stuck at the end calling out orders as they finish. The lady is always friendly and polite, but needs me to speak VERYSLOWLY when I say the«no tomato, add dijon, add onions» part so she can push those buttons, or else it comes out wrong. The girl — has never said a word to me. She’s busy churning out sammiches«ridiculously fast». The dude — I’m sorry that this is your job, but try not to call out my order in a way/intonation that lets me know how depressed you are and makes me FEEL sorry that this is your job. 2) There is plenty of seating, but at tables designed for two. We are a Lunch Crew of three, and this requires chair manipulation that may or may not violate fire codes and creates a table elsewhere now designed for a solo luncheoner. 3) There are specific spots directly under air vents. These are nightmare zones for wimpy skinny people who dislike«draftiness» and are known to comment«I should have brought a sweater.» These are miracle spots for people who are decent-sized men and tend to find themselves always feeling warm. So yes, I grab those seats up to «rescue» the less-maniy in the Crew from the«nightmare» seats. 4) The music selection here rocks. There are few things as satisfying as busting out a chorus to a song you really enjoy hearing, even if you have food in your mouth. There are also few things as embarrassing as having to apologize to the Lunch Crew for spitting sammich bits on them because you«really love that song». Aside from that, the place is pretty dern clean. Food moves out at typical Jimmy John’s pacing. The food is Jimmy John’s food — there’s not much I can say about it. So yes, I’ll keep coming back here with the Lunch Crew. Unless Potbelly really feels like opening up in Bridgeport so I can truly be a brand-loyal boyfriend to Char O.

I would like to give this place a higher rating, but it seems like everytime I call or go in to order, they are CLOSED! Odd hours… also slow delivery. Considering Jimmy Johns advertises«freaky fast» delivery, that is not cool.

Doesn’t help that I don’t like their sandwiches anyway. But once in a while I’ll reluctantly agree to Jimmy Johns expecting mediocrity but at least expecting it fast. And even that much seems too hard for the Bridgeport outpost to handle. My office is .6 miles from here. I just google mapped it. And yet orders routinely take well over an hour. Yesterday they didn’t show up for over and hour and a half – until we called and cancelled. When and if food does arrive, it is routinely wrong or accidentally mismatched with someone else’s order, taking upwards of 15 minutes on one occasion to sort out. What’s worse, no one on the phone seems to care whatsoever. Maybe this place is ok if you plan to eat in, but avoid at all costs for delivery.

We order delivery from this location, typically for a group of 3 – 5. We’ve had a number of issues w/this location over the past few months from completely wrong orders to significant delays in delivery — 1.5 hours in some cases and they are just 3 – 4 blocks away. Sounds like a staffing issue, but we also suspect that they stock all their delivery orders and then send them out w/one guy, b/c they never can tell you a ETA on your delivery, except that the guy is ‘in route’ Fool us once… fool us a third time, strike three. Will not be using them again.

I just placed an order today at 12:19 and I didn’t receive my sandwich until fifty minutes later. When I called them to ask about the order, they said it was out for delivery. What happened to «subs so fast you’ll freak?»

I love Jimmy Johns, I started at the suburban locations. But finally they brought a Jimmy Johns to Bridgeport. Not to far from my house, Fast Friendly Service! I love the staff here, everyone treats you great and with respect. My order never gets messed up here(or any Jimmy Johns I been to)! I have yet to try there delivery yet and doubt I ever will so I can’t review that! But if you want Jimmy johns and your in Bridgeport this place is great!

«There’s a Jimmy John’s in Bridgeport?! NOWAY!» I headed over to get a gift certificate for a friend ASAP. I walked into this eerily quiet and empty Jimmy John’s … «Hello?» Scary man behind the counter lacks any facial emotion, not even a smile or a «Welcome!» Oh well, I just needed gift certificates anyway. «Can I get some gift cards or certificates here?» I wait, he checks … «Oh we don’t have any.» *Grumble* … so I asked where I can get some that’s nearby. The guy looks dumbfounded. I slowly back away, like some awkward scene from Family Guy and Google’d the next nearest location(which was a lot more pleasant and friendly, might I add).

subs so fast I’ll freak? Not so much, but they are pretty fast. I like stopping in for a sub sandwich before I head over to my classes at IIT, as it offers a nice alternative to greasy fast food! I also like stopping here as it offers a variety of options, and they put up with my picky eating habits. Thanks JJ! :-)

What a welcome addition to Bridgeport! This place is just like any other Jimmy John’s except it is cleaner, friendlier, and faster. The seating space is small and geared for twosomes, so it isn’t a great place for three or more.

I eat here 8 days a week and the service is unbelieveable !! They are on it as soon as you walk in the door. Everybody is smiling and nice, the food is ready before you get the change in your pocket. This is a great place for a quality sandwich at a good price. It is fast as they say and the place is really clean, unlike a lot of the options near by. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend eating here. Bring $ 7.00 and eat like a king !!

Finally! An option for a vegetarian looking for lunch in Bridgeport /Canaryville area. Until now, my work lunch choices consisted of Subway, Dunkin, or the grocery store. I’m not big on chains, but I’ve been praying for a long time for a Chipotle, Potbelly’s, Quizno’s… anything quick with a vegetarian option and predictable quality to move in down here. The sandwich was good, not great but I think it was overpriced. An 8″ veggie sub with fewer toppings than subway with a drink and chips was $ 6.45 compared to $ 4.98 for a 6″ with a drink and chips at Subway. But I do think the quality is better than Subway.

A Sandwich place that delivers!!! Finally we get something delivered in this neighborhood that actually can be healthy! I always say its hard to review a national chain because they already have a set standard but… The place just opened and food portions are good. So hopefully they keep up the good work. Just picture Subway but better!!! I love this neighborhood now. I can get my newest movies delivered from The Video Strip and then get a good big sandwich from Jimmy John’s both delivered. Talk about Dinner and a Movie!!! WOOHOO!!!
