Jimmy John’s

Not sure about anyone else but the last 2 times I’ve gone to this particular location I have found pieces of hair in the sandwiches that were not mine. The 1^st time I didn’t complain, just vowed not to eat at jimmy johns again. About a month after that happened I decided to give it another try. I should have saved my $. Until employees are required to start wearing hair nets I refuse to order from any jimmy johns again. Good sandwiches but I don’t particularly like hair in mine.

First of all, if you don’t like Jimmy John’s subs, then stop reading. This is a review on the particular location, and the same subs are cranked out at each establishment. I happen to enjoy an occasional JJ’s sandwich, especially because they have the delivery option that competing sub shops lack.
At this location, delivery is always prompt (I don’t know if I’d say freaky fast, because it takes a lot to freak me out) but always timely and complete. Staff is polite and I haven’t run into a delivery scenario (yet at least) where they really jacked up the order or forgot the mayo packets, etc. The shop itself is newly remodeled and decent.
The other reason I give them 4 stars is because they still offer sprouts as an option. After sprouts were eliminated from JJ’s menu due to an E. Coli or Salmonella outbreak a couple years back, I was pretty much devastated. Eventually, they made their way back to the menu without their little germ friends, and the world was right again. However, to my dismay, not every Jimmy John’s brought back the sprouts. Gratefully, this store in my delivery radius did. If you are disturbed by the possibility of germy sprouts, then don’t order them. As a non-​pregnant chick, I will forget the past and order the shit out of them. In fact, if you don’t want the sprouts, I’d say go somewhere else altogether because they really complete the sandwich. But go ahead, venture instead to the nearby Chipotle (oh wait, that’s kinda risky…) or Wendy’s (as long as you don’t mind appendages garnishing your chili) or Taco Bell (guaranteed ass flames). Oh well… I mean either way, aren’t we all at least one stomach flu from our goal weights?

Too bad, the sandwiches and service are very good but I will not patronize any establishment who’s owner jimmy john liautaud is a «trophy hunter» who kills endangered animals for fun.

I ordered from Jimmy johns tonight for my kids because I have the flu and am unable to get out of bed. I have 3 kids and my husband is working. I thought this would be fast and easy, but no. The delivery driver left her keys in the car. I placed my order at 526. They called me at 552 to let me know she had lovked herself out and they sent someone with keys and she would be her within 5 to 10 minutes. OK great, i Understand! Then i called back at 620 to find where the driver was and they said she is still locked out. I told them my situation and they said they could give me some chips and cookies for free. I didnt think that was enough because the story seemed to be that she was never going to find her keys and who would have thought to send another driver with my food instead!?! It has been an hour know and i could have ordered a pizza! I used to like them but after their lack of care and concern for a valued customer (i go here all the time!) I told them to forget the order, the woman on the phone asked me if i was sure, of course im sure. You lost my business and i will make sure the rest of my friends and family know not to go there any more!

Jimmy John’s is a fine establishment for a quick bite. Jimmy John’s is better than its peers (Subway, Etc.) and, true to their advertising, is incredibly fast when delivering. Their driver even delivered in a snow storm and were friendly about it, which of course, earned an extra tip. I’ve tried many different Jimmy John’s sandwiches, and I must say that I’m quite pleased with all of them. Well done!

If I knew the delivery was gonna take 25 minutes, and the useless delivery driver not even having a pen, I wouldn’t have even given a tip. Tell your stupid drivers to have pens on them, not waste my damn time and do their already easy job.

I go to a Jimmy Johns once or twice a week for lunch. You walk in and you’re greeted by the team with a welcome hello. I like the sandwiches because they are consistent, fresh, & just the right amount of the right ingredients. I like to eat healthy and just have tap water with the sandwich. The soda, cookies, and chips take away from that plus just add calories. The interior is clean and the music playing helps enjoy my time while I eat my lunch. Also, the service is always freaky fast!

The best sub in town ! I love tuna sub, service is fast and quick. I recomed this place for everyone ;)

delivery usually fast, 20mins from time i place order and i live about 10 min from location. today I waited 35 minutes, but the sandwich makes up for the extra wait.

My favorite sandwich place ever. I’ve been craving their Italian night club ever since I moved to the west coast where this place is very hard to find. There’s nothing better when it comes to a crisp, well seasoned and flavored cold sub.

Friendly and freaky fast! I have ordered from them several times and each time I have been happy with how fresh the subs are. Best sub place as far as I am concerned!

These guys are as fast as any delivery. The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly when the take your order. I highly recommend this location to anyone working in the area and needs to order a quick bite to eat.

Very friendly and kind staff. I wish customer service was like this at every business. I went in right before closing last night and the girls were very sweet and happy to serve me. I saw the ingredients and they were so damn fresh even at 10pm!!! Huge parking lot so that’s a bonus.

I usually love their sandwiches but in my last experience it was awful… very disappointed!

Always super fast… I usually order the Italian nightclub with the works. bread is always nice and fresh. The whole pickle for on my .99cents is great. As always the day old bread is only 25 cents. Not bad at all.

I want to thank the awesome crew working on Tuesday, June 4^th, 2013 at 5 pm. You saved me from a disaster! I had planned to pick up Potbelly’s for my entire family, but when I got there, a sign posted on their door said they were closed until further notice. Instead of panicking, I drove right over to Jimmy John’s, where they took my order and it was ready to go before I put my wallet away. The gourmet sandwiches were fantastic, and the customer service can’t be beat!!! Jimmy John’s you’ve earned a place in my heart!!!

As far as the food goes, this Jimmy Johns is consistent with the rest and that is a good thing. What sets this Jimmy Johns apart is the customer service. The staff was extraordinary and engaged everyone in the restaurant. Super clean and my sub was being handed to me even before my credit card receipt printed (and this was during the height of their lunch rush at 1230pm)

We ordered for delivery and the food arrived in 8 minutes, the time it took to change the baby’s diaper! Friendly employee on the phone and at delivery. Will order from them again the next time I’m babysitting.

food: i tried their tuna sandwich and the italian sandwich with spicy peppers. basic sandwiches and pretty tasty!
service: they were very quick and delivered to the convention center
final thoughts: i would order from there all the time if i lived in chicago!

I live right around the corner, but still end up ordering delivery for me and my beau whenever we are getting ready for work or sucked into beating the next game on my PS3.
Always extremely fast, especially for a delivery.
My boyfriend has called and said he ordered and never got his sandwich, but I have never had a problem. I have even called and picked up or just stopped in and the service has always been speedy and satisfactory.
The price works too. No extra delivery costs, just the sandwich with a smile. Even if I get the «Gargantuan», I’m not breaking the bank and have a little snack for later.
(Tip: If you aren’t a mayo fan like me but like a little on your sandwich, make sure you say «easy mayo», otherwise they slop it on. I like some of my sandwiches this way, but I know everyone may not. Happy eating!)
