I am finally sitting down to write this well deserved review. I have been a customer of James and Sons since I was a kid. First in Oak Lawn and now in their new location. By the way it’s gorgeous. For years now I take my good watches to be cleaned etc. I have purchased a lot of jewelry through the years. I have always had the utmost confidence in their work and gotten a fair deal. Their jewelry is well priced and very high quality. Their service is old fashioned– a thing I don’t see very often these days. Recently I took a few rings to be sized and I fell in love with the new John Hardy designs. Luckily, my daughter’s 16th birthday was around the corner so, I had a reason to buy several pieces and of course I had to buy a matching piece for myself. Yippee! No matter what the size of my transaction I am treated as if I am spending a million dollars. I trust this jeweler with my repairs and cleaning. Thank you for being wonderful.

I purchased my fiancé’s Tacori engagement ring as well as our Tacori wedding bands from Iryna at James & Sons. She was a dream to work with throughout the process and took the stress out of a typically stressful decision. We’ve also brought in some older jewelry to clean up and resize and their jeweler did a fantastic job. The pieces were night and day different from when we brought them in.
I’m an avid Unilocal user but this is the first review I’ve made the time to write because Iryna is so amazing. I never walk into James & Sons and she doesn’t welcome me by name and with a big hug. The owner Jim has been nothing but nice in my few encounters with him and I like supporting a local family business.
