This is the best shrimp in the area and I have tried them all!
John and Roger are the originators and the cousins of Cliff who will get your order when you come in.
The southern catfish breading is spectacular and of course the jumbo shrimp use out of this world! You have to ask for this breading because it is lighter than the regular.
I also recommend the mushrooms!
It’s a good take out restaurant!

After a friend of mine suggested this place we tried it. Bam! Out of this world! We had the scallops and jumbo shrimp. They were huge and so delicious! Pretty busy place due to the delicious fish and well worth the wait!

The sign inside the restaurant says «Best Fried Shrimp» in Chicago! Man they ain’t never lied! (Translation: this place is the Truth) I highly recommend the Jumbo pound shrimp, fried okra and some hush puppies! Food taste great the shrimp taste like its fresh from the Gulf! Now this is take out only spot so don’t try and get comfortable. lol My cousins and I stood up and ate ate the counter it was so good, and the owners didn’t seem to mind!
I am telling all my peeps about this spot!

The shrimp here are sooooo good. They also have catfish strips (southern style) the best in Chicago… I like everything about this place– it’s clean, safe and the décor is excellent!!! Make sure to check out the custom made countertops… If you having a craving for shrimp, wings zings, perch and/​or tilapia chips they got it…
