EXCELLENT cheese stuffed breadsticks. The pizza was super crunchy which I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the texture of their food more than the sauce. This is not the traditional deep dish but for a quick, cheap bite, it does the trick. Soda machine was broken so you have to buy canned soda. Service people were apathetic.

This place is fire!!! Definitely my go to for quick dankness. Quick, fresh Italian food! The fried mushrooms are the best shrooms I’ve had since my trip to Amsterdam. The thin crust bbq chicken is yum yum tasty. I once killed a full pie solo. Try their desserts. Worth it if you have a sweet tooth that you can’t deny. I know I can’t. The brownies I’m reigning, king dankness. 5⁄5 The employees are super nice here too!

The chicken parmigiana is good, though I wish it came with spaghetti. Overall solid joint for comfort food.

Super disappointed! Ordered delivery thru Grubhub and get the food and it’s cold, which isn’t the end of the world; cold pizza is edible. What is disappointing is the mangled pizza that was delivered. There are literally pieces of pizza that were thrown on top of it when the cheese was still melted that are now solidified to form a sandwich pizza thing. Interesting. I would hope the delivery driver would take a little more cars in the product, not just throw it around.

I ordered the Caprese Sub which is french bread, fresh slices of mozzarella, tomato and pesto sauce. Served on freshly baked bread with locally grown veggies. Well, I guess the locally grown veggies was a few pieces of wilted lettuce with a balsamic vinegar dressing. Very disappointing.

My two friends and I dined here and the food was nowhere to our liking and the prices on the wall are incorrect, and after my friend asked for an extra item after the original order the server said«I asked u did u need anything else» I didn’t appreciate the comment, nor did we find it humorous. Thankfully the kid place is next door so they won’t lose out on too much business due to this review. I think I will simply stick to my normal pizza place.

The pizza here is satisfactory and unfortunately we have been spoiled by much better pizza in Chicago. About $ 4 a slice. Cheap price for cheap food. The quality of their standard slices(cheese, pepperoni, etc.) is on par with Chuck E Cheese.

Food improved on two followup visits. I’d give it 4 stars except the TV is always too loud and set to some annoying reality show when we are there.(My kid always sits in the table right in front of it)

The whole experience was terrible. Delivery driver was late, brought a bag which was soaked completely through, asked me to sign a receipt without having a pen, and on top of it the food was inedible. I had the linguini with chicken and broccoli and threw it all away after a bite.

Great service and awesome pizza. It works for every occasion. When I was waiting for my takeout with my son, the owner gave him a slice of pizza to try for free!

Italian Pizza Kitchen probably makes a killing being located next to Jump Zone place So they will be just fine whether or not I return to this establishment. First time my husband I walked in I liked the cashier front man. He was really nice. We ordered our food 2 slices of sausage pizza and the chipotle cheddar bacon spuds($ 1 more for spuds) Understandable it is a bigger potato. While we waited for our food I checked into the place on my Unilocal app. The establishment offers 3 free garlic bread sticks but only if you dine in, sad! I figure why not ask anyways but yeah the manager, or owner seem to stick that stipulation. My thinking is a paying customer is a paying customer right? I spent $ 14.00 there on a lunch to go why not give me the free garlic bread sticks? At first I was going to get it, but when they realize I was taking my order to go they said No. So I redeemed a coupon with a stipulation of dine in only darn. I was disappointed. The food is two stars the pizza because it was good. I didn’t care for the crust I can make pizza bread I know whether or not the crust was to my liking or not. The crust is too hard to eat when it cools down. I do like the sauce, sausage and cheese on the pizza. It reminded me of Buffalo NY style pizza, It’s do type of thing. Although in Buffalo NY I don’t recall a slice of pizza being $ 3.75 per slice. However, we do live in Chicago so everything is more expensive here. An additional star for the chipotle cheddar bacon spuds they are delicious but I wouldn’t get them again. I don’t think I would return to this pizza place any time soon. I do want to go back if I was craving thin crust pizza and couldn’t find it anywhere else in the city.

This place is a great example of the old expression too big for your britches. They open a location in Chicago and on more than one occasion they are closed or closing hours before they are suppose to. As a consumer one can only assume there is not enough business to stay open and like any Chicagoan knows restaurants in this town have a short life span. It is a shame as their ribs were good and they had good apps. Their pizzas were cold the few times we ordered them and even when we picked them up from the location. But overall not being open when you tell people you are is too big of a negative for some good apps and ribs to make up for.

They’ve been here for around ten months. Friendly staff. Nice Unilocal coupon – the garlic sticks are pretty good, although I’m not sure they’re not frozen and reheated. I like to try a margherita pizza when I’m trying new places as a baseline. First off, this isn’t Chicago style pizza. You can get slices, which is nice. They also have lots of non-pizza items, also gtk. The pizza was… I don’t know, just not exciting, and probably less pizza-ey than something I could make myself. The cheese didn’t really melt properly and the crust was sort of crackery. I don’t regret trying it, but there’s so much great pizza in Chicago, I don’t think this will make the shortlist.

First time seeing it in the neighborhood, thought Id check it out. Misleading menu, apparently they only do particular flavors by the slice before 3pm. I came in at 6pm asked for Buffalo Chicken, the Monday special listed specifically as «2 slices starting at $ 6.00», but the manager said the special flavors are reserved for the lunch hours only. Maybe specify your specials are only lunch specials? And try turning on the lights in your soda fridge and salad/dessert case so people can see what you’re selling. Or are those just for lunch too? Try catering to the neighborhood and not just the school kids across the street. Also, flavor-wise, this stuff is equivalent to mall pizza. Not impressive.

What a neat place! Not to mention very yummy. The buffalo and blue cheese potato wedges are the bee’s knees! I also got the Maui Wowi burger and my taste buds just melted. Highly recommend this place to people in the area.

What a delicious hidden gem. It’s a bit off the ‘beaten path’ but isn’t too far out of the way to make it worth a short visit. Small and charming with old-world brick covered ambiance which helps to give you the feeling of and ‘old time’ restaurant. Even with limited seating, it is still decent enough for a family or small group to sit and enjoy themselves. The food was amazing, and the staff made it very enjoyable as they were more than willing to explain our meal, what ‘love’ went into it, and everything being ‘fresh’ was a treat I wasn’t necessarily expecting. Everything is made fresh and what isn’t sold that day is disposed of. The Pizza making business is a tough one to manage, as everyone and their mom seems to be a pizza chef; but this place will have you remembering your favorite dishes all over again.

I ordered delivery via Grubhub and was very impressed. The food arrived warm and very fresh. I was particularly impressed with the garden salad — all the vegetables were super crispy fresh and I selected raspberry vinaigrette… incredible! My entrée was jumbo shrimp fried to a golden crispy perfection with no trace of oil. The only disappointment had more to do with my special dietary needs — the french fry wedges were seasoned and way too salty for me. Next time I’ll order a baked potato. I will definitely order again and I highly recommend Italian Pizza Kitchen.

We ordered delivery and it was awesome! Came super fast, hot and fresh! Great pizza if you like a basic thin crust, a little skimpy with toppings, but lots of yummy cheese! Wings were also great, crispy and just enough heat. The homemade meatballs are the bomb! Everyone was also super friendly! Will definitely be ordering from here again!
