InterPark Lake and Wells Garage – Parking Near Daley Center

Efficacy factor: This is one of the official parking garages for Broadway in Chicago (at least, per their website) and it’s an easy block-​and-​a-​half walk away from The Cadillac Palace theater.
Cool factor (or dork factor, depending on your personality): Floors are labeled by color and celestial body. We parked on Lime/​Venus. Yeah. There are no numbers. At all.
Nice factor: A payment assistant (I can’t think of any better term for it, I think that was his sole function) was on hand about an hour before the show to guide parkers through the process of payment. It’s set at a flat fee of $ 13 for the evening and it’s highly recommended that you pay in advance so you don’t have to wait through the lines to pay after the show’s over. Baa. Baa.
Obnoxious factor: The exit we left the garage by to head over to the theater apparently closed at some hour during the show. We only discovered this upon our return to said door and it was locked. Head-​scratching ensued. Apparently there’s a second (main) entrance on the Lake side of the garage which remains accessible. Also note that when you enter via the other door, the helical nature of the garage may turn you around — simply walk through the middle of the lot to get back to your side of the structure. Or… like half a dozen other folks we witnessed, just hit the panic button on your keyless remote. :x
