I had an excellent experience at Haute & Co. Shanelle and Serenity are very genuine, authentic people who care about your dress and experience. I purchased my dress from Haute & Co. As a plus size bride, the experience was nice, classy and fun. You will have the experience you want to have, and should have. No one will show you a size 6, or even size 12 dress, and expect you to hold it up to yourself to try to figure it out. The dress will fit you, and you will feel beautiful. Great experience. Lovely people.

LONGOVERDUE!!! I was BLOWNAWAY by this shop. I am a size 18, and I knew that shopping for a dress was going to be a challenge. I had been to another bridal shop before, and they had some dresses in a larger size, but most samples were an 8(and if you’ve ever tried on a wedding dress, that’s basically a 4). I chose this shop, even though they were a little higher than I wanted to spend because I knew if nothing else I would have the opportunity to try on dresses that fit. From the moment I walked up the stairs at this shop, I knew this was going to be an incredible experience(there was a chalk welcome sign for me on the door!) The women in the store(there were 4 — what a great team!) were all very friendly and polite. When it came time to try on dresses, my stylist, Cara, walked me into the fitting room so that we could have a one-on-one conversation about what I was looking for; it wasn’t about what anyone else thought but me. Additionally, I live in Boston, but my family lives in Chicago. This place was able to turnaround my alterations and ship them to me in Boston with ease! My wedding day has come and gone, and I looked GORGEOUS! I can safely say I give the credit to this fantastic shop! Thanks again for making this a wonderful experience.

Awesome collection of dresses, and I was actually able to try them all on, which was something I was having some serious anxiety about. I worked with Serenity and we just clicked, she understood what I was looking for and pulled some gorgeous dresses. The only reason i am not giving them 5 stars is because you are not able to go thru the room with your consultant to help select dresses which was kind of a bummer.

AMAZING! That was how they made me feel and how the over all experience was. My Mother, Mother-in-law to be, Grandmother-in-law to be and I all had an AMAZING experience. Kara made me feel like the most beautiful women in the world. She listend to everything I said, but instead of rushing me out the door in the dress I described, took the time to show me lots of styles, just to be sure. She then ended the session with the ONE. She explained as I stepped into it, that she knew, but wanted me to be 100%! My fiancé said I was glowing after my appointment. I went with my sister to other places a few years ago. We had one bad expereince and one good experience, but this was, again, AMAZING! My First and Last store! Thank you so much!!!

I would like to write a glowing review for this place, but I can’t. The owner met with me and she just didn’t understand my wants for a dress. I was recommended to this store by a colleague who just bought her dress there-the same style of dress I was interested in. I told this to the owner, but she refused to let me try on that dress. She never said a flat out, «no», but every time we brought it up she brought a different dress she was sure I’d love-which I didn’t. At one point she called me difficult, and she did qualify that it was because I actually knew what I wanted(and it just so happened not to be the opulence and glam she was trying to push on me). She ended the visit by having me try on a dress(she referred to it as my «Farewell dress») that she was sure was not what I would like despite what I was describing what I wanted. And of course I loved it. It was out of my budget, but it just illustrated that she couldn’t understand what I wanted, despite me point blank describing it. She ended by saying she’d call me later the next week when she had a better sense of new dresses coming in and if they matched my style. Of course, she never called.

I came a long way to visit this shop and I was not impressed what so ever. From the very start I felt rushed. It was my first time trying on dresses. My MOH came with me and they were not welcoming in the least. They put me in this room and asked me about what kind of dresses that I was thinking of which is something my MOH could of been apart of. I basically just had to stay in this little room and couldn’t come out until they brought me a dress. I was brought only three dresses nothing was written down or given to me and 20 minutes later we were out of there. I wasn’t allowed to touch any dresses or take pictures. I may not of dressed to the«nines» that day, but my purse was filled with a budget that could of bought any dress in there.

«I feel pretty!», said my beautiful plus size sister as she tried on several wedding gowns. The level of service is fantastic! Kara and Serenity were wonderful, suggesting gowns that flattered her figure and her budget. My sister purchased a dress. We are excited to work with the Haute & Co staff during the alteration process.

I had such a wonderful experience at Haute & Co. bridal boutique, I need to share it with the world! I am a size 16 and was having a lot of trouble at the typical bridal salons with the typical size 8 sample. I was at another store where I was very interested in buying a dress, but I really did not want to buy a dress that I couldn’t fully slip over my hips and see what it looked like. Therefore, I decided to look for salons with bigger sample sizes and came across Haute & Co. on my search. The showroom is beautiful, very modern. They have a large selection of dresses in all different styles. My stylist picked out some beautiful gowns that were totally my style, but in the end it was my best friend who saw a dress on the rack and said«can she try this on?» that I eventually chose. I actually went back a second time because I was between two dresses, and even with my hectic work schedule Shannelle always made time for me to come in. Shannelle(the owner) is very personable and fun, and you could tell she knows a lot about the business. She’s very smart and also stylish, and I really valued her opinion when asking about accessories, etc. She even helped my mom make a decision on necklaces with her dress! I ended up buying my earrings, hair piece and veil from Haute & Co., they had such a cute collection and it was all one stop shopping for me! When it came to finding other things like shoes or a rehearsal dress, Shannelle knew exactly what store to send me to. She has a lot of friends in the business so can also make some vendor recommendations as well. I went back a few times for fittings and Shannelle is using Michelle Post for tailoring services, who came from the Dress Doctor but is now doing her own thing. I loved her and actually used her for a bridesmaids dress as well. I went back for three fittings, and it was so nice because I live and work very close to Haute and Co. so going there was no problem. Shannelle is always a gracious host, offering up drinks, or even champagne on the day I chose my dress! My veil came in a little late because they were back-logged on producing the lace, and it was from England. It actually arrived three days before my wedding and Shannelle hand delivered it to my apartment! If it wasn’t going to come in I’m sure she would have found a great substitute. The only two things I could possibly complain about: 1. I wasn’t allowed to take pictures until I bought the dress, which was explained to me was a vendor preference. I had two dresses in mind and had a lot of trouble choosing, so it would have been helpful to be able to take a picture in both dresses and ask for opinions from my friends. 2. My dress bustle fell apart by the end of the night and my dress just dragged across the floor for the rest of the night In summary: I thought the boutique was awesome, Shannelle was smart, fashionable and fun; and the tailor Michelle Post was easy to schedule with and did a great job. I would recommend this boutique to anyone!

A must stop for the plus size bride! I have yet purchase a dress, but my experience here was so wonderful I wanted to post a review right away. I had 3 appointments my first day shopping(David’s Bridal, Haute & Co., & Macy’s state st.). The service here was hands down 3 times that of the others(I expected the difference from David’s but not Macy’s with the same price points). My stylist was fantastic and I was made to feel so beautiful. She understood perfectly what dresses would flatter my fame. She had an assistant also helping. I was the only bride in the store, they did have a 2nd fitting room and mirror area, but it would never be packed. I made an appointment for January to be measured and order the dress I loved. There was no sales pressure and they absolutely understood that I wanted to explore my options. No worries about if their sample sizes would fit, and no plus size shame(Macy’s was flat out rude when I pointed out a dress I liked on the floor about sample sizing, I get it, I know not everything is going to fit a size 18, but no need for attitude about it). While their price points start high, the quality of all their gowns was amazing
