HUGE servings of food. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it could easily serve three people. That being said, it was completely delicious. My boyfriend ordered the meatloaf and enjoyed that as well. The jam, butter, and biscuit alone are fantastic. Bloody Mary’s are only so-so. I recommend stopping by early on the weekend to avoid the brunch rush.

BEAWAREOFTHESIZESOFTHEPORTIONS!!! It’s huge!!! ALSOIFYOUARETRYINGTOEATHEALTHYORSTICKTO A DIET — THISPLACEISNOTFORYOU! Came here for Monday lunch. I ordered the healthiest thing in the menu(didn’t want to have a salad for lunch) it was vegetarian HASH with mushroom artichokes tomatoes and greens over fried potato. My bf ordered fried chicken waffle that was HUGE(he couldn’t finish that giant portion lol) that he said was really good . We didn’t have a chance to try desserts and drinks but I am pretty sure they are delicious too. Oh yeah, and service was good too(we were served by a guy w tattoos), nothing fancy, very casual and friendly. Please see attached pics lol

Excellent food and great service! We had a party of 12 and were appropriately accommodated. Some had breakfast from the menu and some dinner but no one was disappointed. Good drinks. Bring you appetite because the portions are far from small. Parking is the only issue if you have to drive there. I parked about a half a mile away at a meter but the weather was nice and I love to walk. There is a parking garage across the street that my friends used. I don’t know the cost but if you don’t pay attention to the time you will pay more that you would expect to. I will be back again!

Six Words: Delicious egg scrambles, mimosas were okay Excellent food and pretty decent service. I came here with a friend on a Sunday for brunch around 11:30 and we were seated in about 7 minutes, after being told there would be a 15 – 20 minute wait. The menu is pretty impressive, but neatly organized. I’m a savory breakfast girl, so I was able to quickly find numerous savory options to peruse before ordering. My friend is a sweet breakfast girl so she was able heaps of options. While we were deciding on food, we ordered mimosas for drinks. She got a pineapple one and I got the cranberry one. The cranberry one was not good at all — it wasn’t that it was tart, it was that there was very little cranberry flavor. Would not recommend cranberry mimosa — don’t know what I was thinking when I orderd that. For my brunch entrée, I went for the Sundried Tomato, Basil, and Goat Cheese Scramble with a side of cripsy potatoes(you can get mashed?). My friend went for the Tractor Driver Combo with French Toast. Both entrees arrived pretty fast to the table and the plates were huge. HUGE. Portions were insane. My scramble was delicious. It was everything I want in breakfast. My friend stole a bite and she liked it as well. The ratio of tomatoes to basil to goat cheese to egg was perfection. You didn’t need to doctor it with pepper or salt or anything. The french toast my friend got was really sweet, even though she asked for the banana stuffing to be kept out of it. I was impressed. Neither of us could finish our plates. I had to make an excecutive decision: I decided to finish the biscuit(yum!) and the eggs and leave the potatoes on the plate. I just couldn’t do it. Too much food. I would’ve given this place 5 stars for food and service except for about midway through the meal a server ran past my seat to serve a table and dumped a bunch of scrambled eggs. And he a bunch of them landed on me. No apology, no nothing. He just swore and ran back to the kitchen. I would’ve talked to my server but I had two because one was in trainer and neither were really every around. The worst part was when I stood up and I found even more eggs stuck in my coat. That was gross. No one picked up the eggs from the initial spill so my coat collection of eggs also joined the floor. I probably will come back though. The food was excellent. Just gotta remember to be hungrier.

Wow, whatta meal. Great portions and fairly priced. Thought the bloody mary was a bit much. It was just ok. I had the smoked salmon over bisquits with a very nice sun dried tomato based sauce. That was very tastee. We also had a sideof bisquits and gravy. That was very good. Creamy with huge chunks of sauseege.

First time here heard many great things about this place. I have to say their Unilocal rating fit what I experienced or I would say slightly overrated. Like any place north it was hard to find parking(has nothing to do with my rating). The place is large with lots of seating the hostess was very polite and asked us where we preferred to sit. We sat for a few mins and decided on what to get. We asked the waitress for recommendations she recommended the chicken and waffles and the chicken Benedict which were started on the menu for most popular. I ordered the Salmon hash with a pecan waffle and my boyfriend got the popular chicken and waffle and scrambled eggs. The food came in a timely fashion and was reasonably priced. My waffle was butter and soft full of pecans and my salmon hash was fluffy. I asked for my eggs over medium and there was an inconsistency in the cooking of the eggs one was fully cooked and the other was cooked how I requested. The potatoes in the hash was very basic nothing special and dry so the 1 egg I had that was cooked correctly was used for moisture. They give you a biscuit with your food hard on the outside soft on the inside. They also garnish your food with drily I have to say the fruit was quite inedible and dry. This was not the worst or best experience I’ve ever had but I would recommend this place to someone but I would tell them I give them 3⁄5 stars. Additionally I wouldn’t rush back to this place but I would visit again.

This place was so good we ate there twice in a three-day weekend. The first time I had the avocado, bacon, and cheddar burger. It was delicious and the burger occupied about 7/8s of my plate. I’m very skilled at eating, and a frequent member of the clean plate club. I could not finish my meal. It was huge. My lady got herself fried chicken and waffles. They were even bigger than my burger. The service day one was great. The second time was a little different. We decided to sit at the bar because we were tight on time and thought we would get in and out faster. The bartender was horrible. He served everyone around us, and failed to even acknowledge our presence. He literally served the people sitting right next to me when they sat down after we’d been there for five minutes. Others at the bar found it funny and joked with us while he was within earshot. Still no change in service. We decided to leave, but not before we told the manager on duty about our experience. She was so helpful. She got us a table, got us our food within a couple of minutes of sitting down. She made it right, and once again, the food was amazing. We split biscuits and gravy. Splitting a meal we were still not able to finish a full plate of food.

My friends have been raving about this place for sometime. I was hearing how the waffles and chicken were so good. Anyway, we came here on Jan 2nd. We sat down immediately, parking in this area kinda sucks but we got lucky. We ordered coffee and I order the Indiana tractor ice coffee, it was nothing special. Actually it wasnt that good but it was huge so thats a plus. //Tractor Ice coffee — 2.99 — meh, wouldn’t order it again //Big O’ Sage Fried Chicken & Waffle Tower — 14~ — two sage friend chicken breasts stacked on top of four bacon waffles. Sounds delicious right? it’s DECENT, Ill give it that. The waffles were soggy and the bacon was the best part of it. The chicken breast was actually so good but the waffles didn’t taste well. Fried leeks were tasty. I would not order this again. I would probably order the fried chicken salad because the fried chicken is the best part and everything else is just a heart attack. You can split these between two people easy. //Andy’s Sage Fried Chicken Benedict — 17~ — can’t remember how much this cost. This was much better than the waffles and fried chicken. The biscuit is pretty decent and the sauce on top is good. Plenty of fried chicken, eating this for one person would be a challenge. Good luck. I would split this someone. There are also mashed potatoes on the bottom. It’s savory as hell. Pretty good dish . We just had a lot of issues ordering items. For example, we asked for cream for our coffee and it took forever that we just finished our first cups of coffee without it. We asked for hot sauce and they brought us out more maple syrup in a cup. Oh and they charged us a dollar for that. Kind of annoying. Service wasn’t that great. I probably would not come back here. It just seems like it’s a tourist spot for fat people that wanna eat like MAN V FOOD. haha

Very delicious food. This place is always packed because it’s so popular, so don’t go starving. The wait system is great, the restaurant texts you when your table is ready so you can go for a stroll while waiting. If you find somewhere else and want to cancel your name from the list, you can do that by text too! The food is enormous. I recommend sharing 1 plate between two people. My partner and I each got a dish each and the food was also eaten at lunch and dinner. I ordered the veggie hash which was delicious! The fried potatoes were really good. The fresh-squeezed orange was a bit of a disappointment — very sweet so they must have added a lot of sugar. Service was very fast and our waitress was super friendly. Will be returning!

Soooo much food! The portions are HUGE so don’t come in wearing your tight jeans! I ordered a mimosa and it was ok… maybe I should have ordered the Bloody Mary instead. I had the roasted chicken scrambler and there was so much going on that I didn’t know where to start! The griddles mashed potatoes were some of the best potatoes I have ever had! The scrambler itself was okay. The roasted chicken pieces were great, but I don’t think it paired well in the eggs because it made the dish very oily. I was able to have some of the Andy’s Fried Chicken and that was some phenomenal chicken! I usually skip the to-go box but I had to make sure I took my chicken and mashed potatoes home!

My friend and I have heard a lot of good ratings about this place so we decided to come here and gave it a try. Side street parking was a little find here, but there is a public parking lot right across the restaurant in which they do validate so that was good. The wait was about 10−15mins so it was not long at all. After we got seated a look around the restaurant. It was very spacious with very new décor. Even though they were extremely busy, their customer service was super. Very attentive and nice. We ordered the Andy sage fried chicken benedicts and the sage fried chicken and waffles and boy, this place did not disappoint. We were so hungry and this place hit the spot! Portions were ginormous! We both couldn’t finish its done. The fried chicken were mouth watering delicious. They were on point. This place is a must try! Perfect for breakfast, and a brunch or lunch date!

Had brunch at Hash House on a cold, rainy Saturday and the experience warmed us up. It was pretty busy but we only had about a 15 minute wait to be seated. I got a spiked Hot Chocolate and it was spiked for real. whew, had I drank it all, I would’ve been buzzing. My bf got coffee. Becca was our server and she was dressed as Lara Croft(it was Halloween). I ordered the chicken and waffles. yum. I’ve had a lot of chicken and waffles but the scallions add an interesting twist. My bf got one of the chicken Benedict dishes. It had mashed potatoes. he really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back! Becca was warm and friendly and efficient. The food was awesome and great atmosphere! !!

I wanted so badly to be head over heels for Hash House. When several of my colleagues informed me of the place, I immediately took the 5 minute stroll over Hash House with the girls for brunch on Saturday afternoon. I loved the industrial look of the interior. very unique. which made it less«stuffy» and uptight like a plethora of the surrounding restaurants in this area. One thing right off the bat that was really overwhelming was the menu. Very Busy and just overall, there was a lot going on. It took me a good solid 15 minutes just to figure out what I was going to eat. I settled on the fried chicken plate which came with scrambled eggs, bacon mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. I was so impressed with the presentation! My gosh! Props to the creative genius who came up with these super aesthetically pleasing dishes. The portion sizes for the price point cannot be beat! When it comes down to the taste of the dish… Hash House unfortunately falls flat for me. the biscuit was so big, dense(not in a good way), and dry. there was no flakiness, butteriness, or freshness about the biscuit. I tried to add some gravy to it to make it more palatable but even that didn’t help. The fried chicken, a chicken breast fillet pounded flat, was breaded and fried to a crisp. There was no juiciness. there was no freshness. The seasonings were so overpowering as well. The saving grace were the bacon mashed potatoes. Those were spot on. The bacon was almost candied in the maple glaze that came with the dish. The service of Hash House is pretty good too. It was Halloween day so the staff were all festive in costume which made it a super fun dining experience. Was I pleased with my visit? yes, and no. Will I be eager to return? Eh, not so much.

I have been to the Hash House in Orlando so when my friend suggested we go to the location in Chicago I jumped at the chance to eat here. Number 1 thing I love: the portions are huge. I got the tractor driver combo because that sounded pretty amazing: two eggs, choice of meat or potatoes(I got both, duh), and a flapjack. Tip 1: ask for extra syrup. They give you a dollop of syrup for a pancake that weight a pound. Ask immediately in case the service isn’t great or the pancake will dry it out. The eggs were done to my liking and the potatoes were really good. I was not a fan of the pancake or my bacon. The pancake was more gummy than fluffy. The service was not amazing. It was Halloween and busy so i will cut them some slack. If it’s still on the menu, get the Tuaca cider. Trust me. Your cider(with liquor) expectations will be exceeded for sure. Read as 3.5 stars

At suggestion of bartender I ordered the fried chicken biscuit and egg dish. Food took a while but when it came out to me I realized why. This dish is GIGANTIC. Like I barely put a dent in it. Beyond generous portions of homebreaded chicken, huge fluffy biscuits, delicious eggs, tasty bacon. I was a huge fan. My hotel didn’t have a fridge so I couldn’t take leftovers with me but this dish alone is worth checking this place out. Service was terrific with prompt refills of water and coffee. Only negative I can give it was the coffee was very watered down

I was excited to try a new brunch place especially in the city of Chicago since I’m from the ‘burbs and don’t tend to trek into the city much. Our wait at Hash House a Go Go wasn’t too bad especially for a big party of 12. When it was our time to be seated we were walked downstairs to our tables but there wasn’t enough tables or chairs. After realizing this I noticed the host question the server how come there isn’t enough chairs/tables and he proceeded to signal to her, don’t you see these other big parties? She then leaves us(without telling us what she was going to do), about 5 minutes pass no one had acknowledge us and we’re all standing around looking like idiots, unsure if we would even be able to sit down. I decided to take matters into my own hand and go upstairs to see what was going on, our original host was at the host stand doing who knows what so I decided to explain to another host what was going on and she ask our original host what happened and that host seemed to get a bit upset. They finally found some chairs and tables for us and I also asked for menus but our original host was adamant they are downstairs and I told her TWICE they were not(because I saw another host take them back upstairs), well, the original host didn’t listen to me proceeds downstairs, realizes they aren’t there gets upset and storms back upstairs… SMH. I don’t even know what else to say. We are finally seated and finally get our menu. Our server was friendly and tentative. Between three of us we split the chicken and waffles and one of their scrambles they had. The chicken and waffles was huge and delicious with the bacon waffles, yup bacon inside the waffles! YUM!(Although not everyone enjoyed the bacon in the waffle, it’s all to preference.) I also tried bits and pieces of everyone’s dishes and the crab benedict and pork chop stood out with flavorful tastes. Every dish was huge, good to share. A yummy meal but the whole debacle at the beginning just left a bad taste in my mouth.

What happens in Vegas. Stay’s in Vegas! Well apparently not this restaurant. Despite being in Vegas 7 days. I never once got a chance to check this place out and I remember hearing at the time how this was a must. I thought the food was good. The chicken waffle was okay(3⁄5) but everything else was 5⁄5 especially that drink(mango-pineapple white wine spritzer)
