Closed! Can’t believe they folded on the busiest corner of Edison Park.

Not what it used to be. staff isn’t super friendly anymore, and the coffee cups suck now. I know it sounds silly, but the coffee cup means a lot! It burns the crap out of my hand even with the sleeve. It’s under new management i guess, but there is a big difference from when it opened.

I’m glad this coffee shop opened right here in the Edison Park neighborhood! It’s got the aura of an Euro-style café with decent prices. The barista’s make great drink suggestions if you’re looking to try something new and are very friendly! Also the sweet treats are quite delectable as well!

Stopped by this place on my way home from work today since I’m on a quest to find some decent coffee places in my area(aside from Starbucks). Since I don’t drink coffee, I judge places on how well they make their chai tea lattes(and any cider or non-coffee drink they may have). The chai I ordered today was good, but not spectacular. So I’m definitely not going to pick this place based on the drinks. However, the place reminds me so much of a beloved coffee house in my undergraduate college town, but a little bit smaller, and with less light. I want to frequent here more often, just because I love neighborhood coffeehouses. I do wish there were a couch or two. Seating is available, but I’m sure this place must be crowded during peak hours as there is not much room to sit or move about. A wider bakery selection would be nice too, but the goods in the display did look delicious! I did like the children’s book hour that was going on while I stopped it. A few parents were reading to their children. Neat idea. Too bad it took up the main seating area. What this place needs is an extra room for group gatherings, open-mike nights, etc. If I lived a few blocks closer, you’d see me there frequently.

This place is so cute. I have yet to try the coffee but it is also a great place tostop in for ice cream or italian ice. We just discovered this a few weeks ago and have been in there several times. My kids love the ice cream and my husband and I can get an affordable generous portion of italian ice. It is nice to have a place walking distance in the evenings without having to go all the way to DQ and it is open until 9 or 10. Such a adorable(and clean) atmosphere!

I grew up in Edison park from 1962 until 1982 before this town was a hot and happening place. It cracks me up to see how«Italian» it has become. This area has always been a great place to live, filled with cops, fireman, and city workers that must live within the city limits. This store front was an Andes Candies then a Fannie May. It sat closed for years and reopened as this adorable coffee café. My daughter is a fantastic barista at Starbucks but I can honestly say that Grazie’s Mocha Cappuccino will give Starbucks a run for their money. I stopped here for a desert coffee with a friend after eating at Tony’s Deli and Italian market next door. Good service, smiling owner and attentive barista/actress. We will be back.

Everything you could want from a neighborhood coffee shop. I’ll tell you why… It starts with a good cup of coffee, which Grazie has in Spades. They order their coffee from a coffee roaster in Wisconsin. I know what you’re thinking, but it’s really amazing! I ordered 2 pounds of their mocha haraar. Next, free wi-fi. I can’t stand that places like Starbucks makes you pay for Internet! Finally, what really sets this place apart is the lovely and congenial staff. They are really funny and down to earth. Don’t worry about any of them shooting barista lingo at you.

I went in here extremely hung over and in much need of a huge coffee. I would like to go in here not hung over and try one of their many coffee creations and little treats. The place is little and cute, and looks like to perfect place to chill out. More to come upon my non-hung over return to Grazie…

Grazie offers coffee, a few selections of muffins and other baked goods to go with your coffee, and I wouldn’t have guessed it: ice cream and smoothies. It’s a nice size place to sit with a cup of coffee before or after dinner in one of the nearby restaurants. For being on a busy corner, it was pretty quiet in there. The music was fun without being to loud and the dark wood and warm brown tones really make the café very comfortable. I was there in the evening. The service was very warm and accommodating, albeit a little leisurely. I would imagine they are speedier with the morning rush. I was there with a friend and her 2 year old. They were very patient and accommodating. I love the roomy coffee cups and saucers. I will definitely have to visit again soon.
