Best guys and gal to cut your hair! Very consistent and reasonable. I highly recommend this shop!

I got my eyebrows done there & they literally took it off, I told him I wanted a clean up & he cut it! I’m so mad right now, I was going to cry. Please don’t get your brows done there, they’ll make it look like a straight line. My brows were fine, they just needed a clean up but he took literally half of it off. Please don’t go there unless you want your eyebrows gone (and no I’m not over exaggerating)

Found George & S on Unilocal while visiting from RI and badly in need of a haircut. I walked in on Saturday afternoon and was immediately seated in a chair. I’m sorry that I didn’t get the name of the woman that cut my hair because my haircut is the best I have had in years. That fact that the cost was much lower than I typically pay back home is a welcome bonus! Going forward, I think I may plan my visits to Chicago to coincide with my need for a haircut.

The best hair cut on the northwest side. Doesn’t matter who’s chair you sit in you will be pleased with the cut. Been going here for about 7 years always on point.

These guys always do a great job at a very fair price! They are genuinely nice guys who are always kind to my children. This is the only place I go for a haircut. And it’s a nice added touch that it includes shaving the neck. Just go here!

The one and only place i get my hair cut sam does my hair and hes always consistent and friendly they take there time on every customer and treat everyone like a VIP 100prcnt of the time and only 10 bucks you cant beat that these brothers know what there doing and they even do eye brow threading too mens women’s and kids they do it all

George and Sam are tremendously wonderful men. They are so kind and make you feel like family when you come here. They have such patience when servicing children as well. I bring both my boys here and they never fail on providing great service :)

I love this place — I’ve been getting my hair cut for years even after moving away. Sam and George are good guys and do an excellent, quick job.
I can’t speak for women’s cuts, but they do a great job on men’s hair. And all of this for $ 10. Worth the drive.

Brought my 15month old in for a cut and they did a great job! Patient, quick and a really nice cut. Took my 4 year old and my husband back later and they did a great job with both of them as well! Fast service– three people working so we didn’t wait at all. Very clean salon, will definitely come back!

I had a very enjoyable experience at this place. I called ahead and when I came, i sat down in their nicely air conditioned sitting area and waited my turn. The man cut 2 guys in an half an hour were as my old barber took 45 minutes to do a buzz cut! When my turn came, I was nicely asked to have a seat and I got the hair cut. George was very meticulous, careful, and seemed to be OCD about keeping the barber seat area clean! He used those old style razor things to clean up my neck and even put some Nivea to areas the razor would touch. Plus, the man can do a taper!

For two months I bounced around Chicago looking for a good barber that would listen to exactly what your trying to do with your hair. Super cuts and great clips are full of people who look like they never cut hair in their lives and just do what they think your hair should look like. George and Sam ask exactly what you want and confirm with you. George gives good tips about what the hair will look like in a week or two to help me plan. I would recommend George’s to any girl or guy who cares about their hair!

These guys are amazing! Both Sam and George are great at cutting hair and are extremely nice! I have been going here ever since they opened and I will never go any place else. Trust me and go here! They take their time with every client and their price can’t be beat!

If you are looking for a stylish hair cut, look elsewhere. These guys may do a good job for a buzz cut, but if you are looking to get your hair parted, an under cut, or a comb over look else were. Went there twice and was not happy with my hair cut.

I will never go back there again. I referred this man so many customers. He knows it too. And what happens? He treated me so disrespectfully in the end. Here’s my attempt of a long story short.
The first time I came in, I tried to tip him but he said no my tip is for you to come back. So I came back with several different people because I liked him so much. My fiancé would always leave him $ 5 tips for his $ 5/​$ 10 hair cut! So one day, I come in at 530 and waited a bit over an hour patiently. They closes at 7 just so you know. Got in the chair at about 640. Hair cut is finished. I go to pay. I know he takes visa because of his sign. I decide to use my visa gift card. He is like we don’t take these. I’m like ok you have a sign that clearly says visa. Gives me a huge attitude ’ oh! What am I going to do with this? Nothing! I made nothing. It’s a gift card! I’m like ok I’ll go across to the street to chase and get you cash. This guy had the NERVE to tell me to look at the time were closed! I was in such shock. He had the audacity to tell me that after everything I did for him. I’m sure my fiances tips have added up some where to compensate for the temporary issue I even told him I’d come back the next day.
I wish there were negative stars. None would suffice, but 1 will have to do in order to voice my opinion.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and needed a place to get a haircut. Found Geroge & S here and decided to give them a shot and boy, I’m glad I did. I won’t be going anywhere else again. These guys know how to take care of their customers and do a fantastic job. I’ve never been so satisfied with a haircut.

A great hidden treasure! If you’re on the Northwest side and are looking for someone to cut your hair… I recommend these guys!
My previous barber had retired… thanks Rosario for 28 years! I’ve tried other places but nothing was consistent… and now I found George and Sam!
You can’t go wrong for a great cut and for $ 5 for your first visit. My cut was exactly the way I wanted it. Everything to the shears, trim and razor blade clean up… George did an awesome job! The shop was clean and welcoming! George and Sam were very personable and friendly!

Not only do you get a pretty good cut at a very decent price, but the customer service here is amazing. George and Sam are two brothers who know what they’re doing whether it’s a fade, trim, eye brows, or lining, they do an awesome job.
For $ 10 you get your hair cut to your liking, and they use a single blade to line you up and clean your neck. (Everywhere else I have gone charge extra for this)
First time hair cut for $ 5 isn’t a bad deal either.
All in all, this place is awesome. I have already sent over a handful of my friends and they have been regulars since.

I took my 18 month old son in here for his second haircut. He was so awful at his first cut that I had procrastinated much too long. The lady who cut his hair today mistook him for a girl at first. We all giggled a bit at my embarrassed insistence that he was, indeed, a boy — -I had waited MUCH too long!!!
Anyhow, she began with the shears, per my request, and he proceeded to scream… and scream… and scream. She just kept at it, being as gentle, yet fast, as she could be. She tried to distract him, as did I, to no avail.
Another fellow who works there (one of the nicest people in the world, I’m guessing), came over to assist. He tried making the baby laugh, he tried giving him safe things to play with, etc. But what finally worked (albeit briefly) was when he showed my son pictures of HIS son of a similar age. It really made me smile. This man (I wish I had gotten his name) was so kind that he was wiping my sons messy face for him while he wailed. :’) That is so sweet! How many strangers will wipe your kid’s snot for them??? Not many.
I looooooved this place! First time boy’s/men’s cuts at $ 5. I tipped $ 10 bc of how patient, kind and thoughtful they were. You really should go here! Tip them well!!! They deserve it!
