I must update. Still a tremendous fan of this wonderful, competent woman. I usually have a list of completely varied odd jobs by the time I call Sue, and she tackles all of them.
Install ceiling light in bathroom? Sure! Fix sagging cabinet door? Yeah! Install kitchen faucet? No problem. I got it!
Sue is very conscientious. If she is unable to fix something she’ll tell you — which I prefer over someone trying and f*cking it up. But it’s rare to find something she can’t fix. I believe one instance was a dryer something or other, and I just got an expert for that.
She’ll also email back and forth and get all the details squared away on a project before arriving so she brings the proper tools. No running back and forth to get tools, nope, Sue is prepared!

As good as it gets? No, better than that! Sue has been repairing parts of our 130-​year-​old house for the past 15 years. She is a patient, professional crafts person, especially with carpentry, but also has many other well-​developed skills. She rebuilt several doors for us, rebuilt antique hardware in a bedroom door, even installed a beautiful window in the door to our back porch to let the light in – this door was hollow-​core and poorly aligned in the frame before she started on it. Now it is better than new and lets so much light in that it helped to sell our house. The door works beautifully, as it never did before. Her advice on which projects are priority is invaluable. She also has done electrical wiring, plumbing repair, concrete repair, painting and many other projects. We love Sue!

Susan came to my house to look at a motorized recliner chair that I was not able to get any other handiperson listed on Unilocal to do. Even Abt and Sears would not help me. She is willing to try and learn what she doesn’t know. I was very pleased with her service, she is not expensve and a very nice person. I will contact her again when I have other, probably more normal, requests. Jane

I’ve hired Sue for multiple projects over the last couple of years and would definitely recommend her. She’s easy to work with and her prices are very fair. I would add that she is not just about getting the job done, she also wants to get it done right, which goes a long way in my book. Especially if you’re in her neighborhood, look her up if you need help with fix-​it projects around the house.

I’ve relied on Sue for years and keep calling her back for various «handyman» projects. So glad she is always there to save me – at very reasonable rates.
