Great food. Pizza is delicious. The pork chops are thick, tender and juicy. You can get one or two chops. I love this place. Been there countless times.

It’s been a week, I took the time to message the business on their contact us link from their website, either they don’t care to check it, or they just don’t care to respond. I suggest they take down the contact us button. Here is what I sent them: «We just got home from having a meal there and because we were tired we didn’t look at the bill precisely. Can you tell me the total for, 1 house salad, two iced teas, a large pizza with sausage and mushrooms. We asked for the pizza to not be overloaded with the toppings, I suggested 75%, she said she’d explain it to them. It came back looking as if it had more than what a normal pizza would. She even agreed and did see that we weren’t thrilled with it. We then said we’d try it, I figured she’d be back, a good 10 minutes went by, I had to get up and find her. When we said it really wasn’t enjoyable, her reply was „I’ll see what I can do“ and then „do you want another“ I said, well yes, because I’ve tried removing the sausage and all I have left is crust and a little sauce. So she did finally take it and had it remade, this time it took longer and she didn’t even get back to us as she did the first time that it was coming up. We were really anxious to leave being it was late and we waited to find her, and waited for a replacement pizza. We asked for a box and the check, several minutes go by and she brings the box, and then says I’ll be back in a few with the check. So when we got it I just looked at the total, included the tip and wanted to get out ASAP. We travel up to you place from Bronzeville because we like the pizza, but tonight was a big let down. I used to be a server, my first instinct would have been to offer to remake the pizza when I saw how disappointed my guests were. My second instinct would have been to check back in a few minutes to see if it was working out if the people tried to work with it.» **** I do have a picture posted, that one was from a previous visit when we didn’t ask to have less sausage on it, you’ll see that that one has plenty great for a meat lover. We like a little less and it’s why we asked for it to be made that way on a return visit, odd that that one had to have more on it. The salad was excellent and service was friendly, although I get the feeling that management discourages servers bringing things back to the kitchen.

This place is greasy ass Irish food. I do give them credit for making very good soup, and some tasty sandwiches, other than that I wouldn’t go here for much else. The pizza is hit or miss now, but growing up my family ate it all the time and it was good. I guess i just don’t have the same taste for it anymore.

I was familiar with Fox’s when I lived near Beverly. The Fox’s in Hinsdale is not the Fox’s in Beverly. The pizza at best is decent, but the service is deplorable. I won’t go so far as to say it’s everyone I talk to when I call in, but as the saying goes, «one bad apple spoils the whole bunch». That«one bad apple» would be Caroline. I called in to order a pizza, to order a decent pizza. I attempted to order the Fox’s Special and substitute the mushrooms for pepperoni. After all, I had order this way before. It wasn’t the fact that this option was taken off the menu(maybe it was). I had ordered it 20 – 25 times in the past(and I had), but after Caroline had taken my order, she read back my order listing the ingredients on the pizza and charging me a high price on half price Wednesday nights. It was a pizza other than«Fox Special». It wasn’t until I asked her about this development that she told me. There were no recommendations to keep the price where I wanted. There was no explanation of her quoting a higher price. If you want a really good pizza in the Western Suburbs with the service to follow I suggest you go a little further west to Westmont on Cass Avenue, L & F Pizza.

Yea, so, how does this place have less than a perfect rating. Got the traditional prime rib sandwich and my dad got the two pork chip dinner. The pork chops are amazing in every way and the sandwich was great! They had a lovely beef vegetable soup that was quite hearty. The Caesar left something to be desired, but the dressing itself was good. I’m coming back and getting the pizza bc it smelled miraculous.

When you order take out pizza or delivery it is just ok, however when you dine in the pizza is made in the back kitchen and taste like Indian food served in a diaper. In the past year I’ve ordered three times and it never fails to disappoint. If you want to pay home run in prices for little cedars pizza this may be the place for you.

I used to go to Fox’s in the early 90’s while I was driving a Limo and decided to return last night after 25 years for a late sandwich after a concert downtown. The Beef sandwich and garlic tomato bread were great as was our server, Mike. Don’t let the bad reviews dissuade you from going here, as it is still very good just as it was 25 years ago. I will return. Thank You

This was the worst pizza, I have ever had. The restaurant was so cold, we ask for heat was told it was, even the cooks said they were cold. I will never come back

On 23 December 15 I was and still am really P.O.‘d that after 30 plus yrs of going here a kid at the counter gets order wrong does not catch it and then thinks it’s funny!!! Been coming here since the 80’s.The mgr(Older lady) was the one who caught it no one ever offered to make it right just a «if you still want it you can wait 30MORE mins and we can make you a new one.» They gave someone my pizza and was going to give me their’s!!! Now they have two pissed off customers. Hell I drive from downtown to get pizza here. I grew up on their pizza and to be done like this and laughed at WAS not right! maybe I will just spread the word and see what happens. /S/ Longtime upset customer, wonder if I will ever go back! :(

Great atmosphere, friendly service and the classics like the vegetable beef soup and the Irish Reuben make it a great repeat choice. The price is always reasonable.

Service was so so… Had to ask where my beer order was even though she was convinced someone had sprite and we were missing a lemonade(we we not). Buffalo chicken sandwich was fairly tasty — fries not so much(some tasted freezer burned). Blue cheese burger was OK, just nothing we would go out of my way to order again. Chopped salad was huge and a bit warm, but tasted fine. Pizza was insanely greasy, although the sausage had a nice amount of caraway seeds. Unfortunately the crust was soggy, Place overall was not very clean and nothing the 15 of us would go out out of our way to come back to. The ratings and comments that led us here, definitely do not match reality.

Some of my favorite thin crust on the south side. Their pizza is distinct, you know its foxes pizza even if you’re blindfolded. I also love their baked pastas, veal parm, and Irish nachos appetizer. My dad swears by their ribs too. I wish they didn’t stop selling spaghetti buckets to go, those were great in a pinch. And I wish the parking situation wasn’t such a mindf*ck sometimes but its really not a big deal. This place is great for what its meant to be, a small Irish pizza pub that’s good for take out or dining in.

This is by far my favorite Chicago thin crust pie. Sometimes you get one that is a bit sub-par, buts thats few and far between. Whole menu is killer though. If u want South Side thin crust, Fox’s is a must try!

Outstanding thin crust pizza. The bestwaitress we could ask for. Comfortable and fun environment. So good that we ordered another pizza to take with us. Well done foxes. One of the gems on the southside. We just moved to this area and are looking for any other ideas for good thin crust on the south side of Chicago With a bar for a real CHITOWN night out! Didn’t really care for Chucks, crust too thick, Barracos has gone downhill but heard there was another good thin crust one on Pulaski? Any comments? Suggestions?

Yeah, five stars. I am talking mostly about their pizza. I don’t know what they did, but their pizza has been outstanding as of late. They’ve also been insanely generous with the coupons, offering $ 5 off coupons in the local papers. $ 5 off a $ 20 pizza is pretty dang good. But, like I said, the taste has improved. While I like the soup, I can’t say that I like the rest of their menu as much as some other local places, but the pizza makes up for it.

I needed something to warm me up and this was a familiar choice. Not a lot going on at lunch time. So I should have been over served. I got the corn beef on marbled rye. As the menu said. I was asked what my two sides were. Fries and slaw. I get my plate and the first thing I notice is the bread. Maybe the marbles were in the menu writers head? Because it was just rye. Nice and moist though. As I am eating I realize that I don’t have any slaw. I am sitting there in a quite empty dining room looking for my waitress. It was easier to get her attention before I ordered. I finally get the slaw and a refill. They must have put it through a grinder because it was more like mash. The sandwich was right on the money though! So I am waiting for the bill that I asked for twice. I should have started when I sat down, because it took longer to get to the table than the food. As I am walking to my car I see that someone had double parked behind me. I was the only one lucky enough for this to happen to. I walk back in and ask who had the blue Saturn? So they know that it’s the delivery guy and this kid comes strolling out after 5 mintutes with a shitty look on his face. Doesn’t say anything except with his expression. Oh, sorry that I put you out. What was I thinking asking you to put your phone down to let a customer leave. I’m thinking I won’t be back!

Just tried to order a pizza on Saturday night and they closed early. What kind of pizza place closes an hour before there supposed to close. That is how dirty Irish pizza places do business!

I love Fox’s. We usually do delivery but every now and then we dine in, and it’s really cozy! Friendly staff & good pizza. My son loves the different coloring sheets they give him & I appreciate the quality crayons! Lol.

Grew up on Fox’s, even worked there as a teen. I can honestly say, this place does not run the same without Mrs. Fox, or Mike Lymon for that matter. This isn’t the same quality of food you remember from ‘back in the day’. Salad never arrived, but was on the bill, and quickly removed when pointed out. BBQ chicken pizza is touted a sa New Menu Item– bland chicken, missing spices and cilantro. Overcooked pasta and overpriced kids meals at $ 7.49 lead me to believe they really don’t want your dine in business! I will stick to pizza for delivery form now on. Our waitress was friendly and we did appreciate her service, even though the salad was forgotten.

OMG, get the Steak House Burger. It’s out of this world. If I told you how long I’ve been going to Fox’s, it would give away how old I am(groan). Fox’s is a neighborhood institution, the first place you think of when you want to get a bite after work, or when friends are in town, or… for no reason at all. There are places that are trendier, or seat bigger groups(seating is all booths, and the bigger ones seat 4), but for comfort food, you can’t beat Fox’s. And before I forget — in season, the Sox games are on TV. That, with the good food, makes it pretty much perfect.
