Easy, fast and very reasonably priced — this place is great! I had several sets of keys made while I waited (about 5 minutes) and it was less than $ 10. Easy parking as well. Highly recommended.

No posted hours (on Unilocal or at their store), no one answers the phone when called, and they are often closed when I go by at normal working hours.
3 stars still because the one time I did manage to find them open, they were quick and inexpensive.

We needed to have a few set of keys copied for a rental apartment. I normally go to Home Depot to get it done, but was feeling tired and didn’t feel like driving out of my way to get this done. Searched Unilocal for a place near Wrigleyville and Felix came up. I’ve driven by several times in the past but never thought much of it. Glad I decided to give it a try. Quick and friendly service. Paid like a third of what they normally charge me at Home Depot. I am going nowhere else at this point.

Small shop — I don’t even think there’s a sign out front, so you’d probably never notice it unless you were specifically looking for it. Fast service, EXCELLENT prices. Yeah, the guy seems a little quiet, but who cares? I needed a key cut, not a BFF.

When the only negative thing that can be said is that a businessman takes his work seriously and professionally I think we’re in a good spot. Felix is more consistent than my parents and more calming than a waterfall. Don’t listen to the idiots that say Felix isn’t amazingly friendly, let his work speak for itself.

The owner make good keys, but every time i did come i feelt like they don’t appreciate my business, the owner is not really friendly at the list, so i found another locksmith on Lincoln ave by Foster. Perfect keys every time and the owners are nice.

Excellent service. He definitely is a lot inexpensive and cheaper then Clark/​Devon hardware. He made new keys and keyed deadbolt locks for an apartment unit. Definitely he is a good locksmith. I would say he is very competitive with pricing. His service is professional and quick.

Great service for replacing a deadbolt, it matched exactly and was a smooth installation based on their instructions.
Have also used Felix for key cuts many times. These have always worked well.

Whenever I need a key cut, I bring my business here.
Service is always quick and friendly, and for me, I get the convenience of not having to walk more than a block to get the job done.
You may want to call before heading over here because it is not uncommon for the shop to be locked up with a note that reads something like «be back at 2.»
Also, they do not do out-​calls, so you actually need to bring in whatever you want serviced.
