Really great place for shawarma. The ingredients are fresh and it’s not too greasy. Definitely good for carry out, but you can eat there if you want. They have a small sitting area big enough for about 5 – 6 people. I had the felafel pita and my husband had the chicken shawarma plate. Delicious, we will definitely be back!

The food is great, the prices are great, and the people working are too. The problem is they are NEVER open. I always had a great experience anytime I came in, but recently they’re never open any time I try to go in! It’s not simply the close early but when I come around even 6pm, they aren’t open. Pretty giant disappointment. Maybe they should list their actual hours because I’m done trying to show up when they claim to be open.

4.5 stars, for décor: The steak(beef) shwarma was amazing! The meat was full of flavor and amazing! Pita was nice and fluffy. Their fire sauce gives a little kick, but it’s not a punch in the face. VERY nice sauce to eat with your meal. Atmosphere was a little dingy, but I came relatively early. They have the cutest menu board! There’s a small space between the dining area and ordering area. Décor is bland, and dull, but the food makes up for it. Service was amazing– super friendly! My only major concern was not enough veggies on my shwarma. The value is amazing! They put SO much meat into your shwarma, it’s fantastic! I’ll be back, Felfel!

I never Unilocal but this place is amazing. I go here all the time and they are always so kind, the food is always consistent and DELICIOUS, not to mention cheap. Beef shawerma is to die for, hummus is the way I ate it growing up, the rice is buttery and falafel fluffy and perfect with just the right amount of cumin.

I have had shawarma from lots of places but, this place is awesome. The falafel is also very delicious, very good quality and tasty food for a low price.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood as sadly Petite Pita appears to have closed without notice. The menu is limited perhaps intentionally in its infancy, carrying common items like beef and chicken shwarmas, grape leaves and falafel. There is a table and chairs shop is best suited for takeout. Most of the items are served in pitas or as part of seasoned rice bowls, topped with some crunchy greens and pickles, and come with a couple sauces. The beef and chicken are shaved from glorious spinning meat cones, so they’re expectedly a slightly dry but nonetheless flavorful. A manager or owner was posted just inside the shop to assist me with ordering, and it took 5 – 10 minutes to ready my 3 entrees. You forgot my baklava, though! So I’ll need to come back soon :)

The people working there were really friendly. The place is small and clean, with an uncomfortable seating arrangement – we decided to carry out. There is a short menu, and my fiancé and I both ordered chicken shawarma. It was neither bad nor amazing – middle of the road. We also had a chocolate chip cookie that was soft and delicious.

Great new restaurant. Fast and fresh Mediterranean food. I had the chicken shwarma bowl, which had great flavor. Portion sizes are generous and prices are very fair. great place to pop in and grab lunch or dinner to go. I also had the vanilla rice which was quite good as well. I definitely recommend stopping by to try it out. A Nice addition to the uptown neighborhood and great to have a new restaurant.
