Esso

The door girl had a brain the size of a pea and could not calculate in her brain $ 10 each for my 3 guests and I. We were the only group that walked in and she even asked us to step outside in 30 degree weather just so she could solve simple addition. On top of that she was very very rude and had a terrible attitude. I had to walk away before the issue escalated. The «lounge» was quite small. They played good music. The snotty door girl, I believe she goes by Jae, just ruined it for me. And, as we were leaving the security guard was practically pushing us out. Will not be visiting again.

Ummm yeah so this was like my 3^rd or 4^th destination of the night and I was here after attending a bar crawl, but before opening for a private bday party. Can’t honestly give you what it’s like with the normal crowd, but the place was cute, music good (hip hop) and the women in attendance beautiful. Had to attend another bday party afterwards so wasn’t there for the actual opening of the night.

So I am not of the age where I frequent clubs but a friend was in town so I decided to go to Esso. The music was good and people seemed to have a great time but this review is more about the customer service of the owner. I mistakenly left the bar without closing out my tab and the club had my debit card AND drivers license. So, to say I felt naked was an understatement. Well the owner Anthony was GREAT! I called him aka harassed a few times and we made arrangements to meet although the bar was closed. When I got there he had my tab that only had the ONE drink that I purchased, not any additional charges. I walked away feeling whole again and a fan of Anthony and by extension Esso. Now THAT is customer service!

Attended for my cousin’s performance and had a great time. Nice liquor selection, any place that has Maker’s Mark & lemonade wins my heart lol Owner and staff were very pleasant and welcoming, also thanked us for attending. Great local spot that I would frequent if I lived in Chicago. Set up was perfect for the performance.
