OMG the food and the service are horrible. The place is OVER Priced, 20 $ per person for the live show with the minimum 70& for table and mandatory gratuity for the very poor service .
The only thing that deserve visiting again is the live music and dancing !!

Waste of time! The food was dry, The service was below average, and the entertainment was awful. They played the same type of music most of the time. I left with a bad headache. Stay away.

Worst experience. They heated up someone else’s bread, ordered trader joe hummus, hookah was made by a 2 year old, management doesn’t know how to please customers, pandora would’ve been better entertainment than this and I’m wasting time writing his review than enjoying my time here. Enough said. A true Arab wouldn’t come back, otherwise good luck

The Food & service was great, loved the atmosphere, also pricing was very reasonable. Definitely plan on going back soon.

My friends took me to this resturant. I was very impressed, the service was awesome. the waitress and waiters were excellent and on point with everything! The food here is amazing! the place had live music and a clean environment. I had a great time and was glad my friends showed me this place. I will be coming back very soon.

I went to Dandana last night to celebrate my birthday; it was my second time there. I had gone there last year for my Uncle’s birthday and enjoyed it, so I decided to have my birthday celebration there. I strongly suggest you make a reservation, especially if you have a large group. Saturday seems like the busiest night there. $ 10 cover charge for Friday and $ 15 or $ 20 for Saturday and $ 5 per person for BYOB. My group and I ordered a few plates of hummus with chicken and beef shawarma. I had the beef and it was very good (they said the chicken was good too). Their appetizers range from $ 8 – 11 and entrees averaged about $ 17-​$ 25 from what I remember (worth the price). What I really like about this place is the live entertainment and hookah. Live entertainment fri-​sun only. They don’t have many hookah flavors, but they use Mya QT hookahs and they are good. From what I remember, they have watermelon, orange mint, and grape (orange mint is the best). The service was great and were often checked on in case we needed anything. I highly recommend this place for events. You will have a good time.

I got online delivery from this place. It took 45 minutes between the time I ordered and received my food. I had ordered the shawarma and the shawarma platter. The food is relatively good but not spectacular in any sense. The portions are awesome! They really dont hold back in the amount of meat they give you which is a huge plus. The prices are reasonable.

I ordered a relatively simple delivery of hummus, a Caesar salad and a shawarma sandwich. After an hour and a half of waiting, I called the restaurant and was put on hold for 15 minutes. No one ever came to the phone to speak with me, but my food arrived while I was on hold so I hung up. This location is about a mile and a half away from my apartment, so I’m guessing the guy walked here… Slowly. After waiting almost two hours for lunch I was starving and the food wasn’t something to write home about. The hummus was watery, the «classic» Caesar salad was nothing like a Classic Caesar, I don’t even think it had Caesar dressing… And the sandwiches weren’t very warm. Even my cat wouldn’t eat it.
Needless to say, I probably won’t be ordering delivery from them again. There are better places in this neighborhood to get hummus and shawarma.

I’m giving them 2 stars because it says 2 stars is a «Meh. I’ve experienced better» which is exactly how I felt when I was eating this food. I’m not sure if the owners are Arab, but the food tastes more Indian than it does Arab.
The first time I ordered from here I had the chicken shawerma platter (came with rice and a salad), and beef shawerma wrap. the chicken shawerma platter was too heavily spiced I couldn’t even taste the chicken, and the rice was heavily spiced and flavored as well and it just did not go well together at all. I think maybe a white rice with such a flavorful chicken would be better, or maybe mellowing them both out might be a better solution. Either way, it didn’t make me feel like I was enjoying the meal and I didn’t exactly feel like I hated it. It was meh. When I tried the beef shawerma sandwich first thing I did after the first bite was take out the beef from the sandwich because that tasted SO GOOD, and the cucumbers just did not go well at all in the wrap. At all.
The second time I ordered, I decided to get the beef shawerma plate because I figured the meat would be as good as it was the time before. Wrong. It was OK, and still heavily spiced. Meat arent supposed to be SOOO heavy on the flavor, I’m supposed to be able to enjoy the actual meat and this just did not perform. the french fries were beast though.
I’m literally going to go back for french fries because omg so delicious.
I feel bad giving a bad review like this, but I just paid $ 30 for a meal that I left on my table and cant bother finishing because it wasn’t good, and I had expected good food given all the positive reviews on this page. I didn’t think I should give anything over two stars for being so disappointed for the second time in a row.
I don’t think I’m going to rule out going here in the future and they’re definitely still an option for me, but minor changes like this need to be made. This did not taste like shawerma. Not the first time. Not the second time. And i’ve had a wide range of shawerma experiences and this just did not come close to being the actual thing. If i order from here in the future and it tastes better then I will update my rating with a more positive review but otherwise it stands.

The place donsnt say the real charge the take more like for interance and plus the minimum they didnt tell us there is minmum and the honor was rud when I telll here she say dont come again so its not nice way to treat customers

Wow, the place isn’t the same as it was before. Takes super long to get hookahs, entertainment was mediocre and got boring, overpriced for what it was, and there was some sort of fight between customers, luckily they kicked the people out, but still… Ill just stick to Alhambra.

The food is barely mediocre. Go elsewhere for mediterranean food.

Ordered delivery from this place and it took an two hours to arrive. I was very grumpy at this point but the food was still decent. Maybe I’ll try going to the restaurant but I doubt it.

tip: this place is terrible. A group of us came here to try it out. We called in advance to see if there were any charges such as corking fees for byob or a per person charge. We were told no. Come time we receive our bill, there is a $ 10 per person charge, a double charge for food we ordered, and an 18% gratuity included for our party of 3. There was no notification or reference to such charges posted anywhere in the establishment nor menus. When I spoke to the owner, I was berated and told I know nothing about the «restaurant industry» which isnt the case. After back and forth arguing, we just paid and left. The experience was exacerbating and I am shaking in anger.

I went here last night and what a blast! They are having monthly parties on Sundays with students, teachers and pros of belly dance and it was really fun! The food is amazing, I had the kifteh kebabs and rice with baba ghanoush. So delicious. The place is very clean, well decorated and classy. I really like this place, happy they are doing such fun things.

Dandana has great food, various hookah flavors, and great ambiance.
The place was full on a Friday night, and the crowd was diverse and appropriately dressed up.
The music was lively, with guests line-​dancing and belly dancing. Music continued all throughout the night!
Lots of great looking people frequent this spot, and is worth lounging at. It appeared as though the average group size was 6; however, there were larger and smaller groups all around.

Great great great food been there about two months ago… talk about fine middle eastern food with great taste and a lovely classy atmosphere… great place for family or friends! And it will have you talking about there food for the rest of your day!

Overall, wonderful experience: tasty food, very fairly priced, great service. There’s always a crowd. The environment is perfect: friendly and inviting. The venue itself is clean and spacious. Entertainment is brilliant. Awesome place for a night out.

Entertainment is AMAZING! Great group of singers rounded up the night I came here. Belly dancers kick butt! The dancers put so much beauty and entertainment to their performance it makes me want to get up and Dance and I don’t even dance .The atmosphere is nice and I love the huge pictures of the classic middle-​astern entertainers throughout. Good hookah and service is decent.

Had the best time at Dandana! We got to the restaurant around 9PM and it was completely empty, but when we asked to be seated the host informed us that all of the tables were reserved. We were a little confused and decided to take a seat at the bar. Sure enough, the crowed started pouring in around 10PM. A live band started playing and then a couple belly dancers got on stage. We ordered an apple flavored hookah and sat back and watched the performance. After a couple of small appetizers and drinks, we decided to join the crowed and dance. It was so much fun! I cannot wait to go back!
