Cool little place. And I do mean LITTLE. Pretty fountain, and a few benches, make this a nice oasis amid the busy area it is found in. No playground of course but kids thought fountain was cool.

Beautiful! Especially in the summers when you can bring your lunch to sit under the big tree. One of the best kept secrets of the gold coast /river north area.

I love Connors Park. Most people don’t know the name of it because it’s so small, but few who see it forget it, even if they don’t know what it is they saw. Formed on a triangle of land bounded by Rush, Wabash, and Chestnut Streets, there’s a small plaza with a trellis, surrounded by landscaping. For many, however, the most distinctive feature of the park is an enormous tree on the north tip of the park. In the summer it provides welcome shade and in the winter forms dramatic natural patterns with the branches that leave many a buzzed bar-hopper twisted around in the back of a cab trying to make out just what kind of monstrous tree it is they just sped by.
