I love Sarah at Color Me Salon!
For me, going to the hair dresser is like a dentist visit for others. I do not like it. One bit. Until I discovered Color Me Salon on my first visit to Chicago when I was desperate to get a short hair cut to match the 100+ degree temperatures outside.
Sarah was so kind to me and did a great job with my thinning hair that has been the bane of my existence for years. It looked really cute and made my life so much easier.
Over the last three years I have faithfully traveled many miles to see Sarah as I do not want anybody else to touch my hair. I am consistently happy with her cuts and it is always delightful to exchange the latest episodes of our life stories.
It does not hurt that the price is more than reasonable, but above all I trust Sarah and feel that she really listens to what you want. And she is just a lovely person. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I’ve been here in the past for just a cut but the most recent visit was to bleach my hair. I’m new to hair coloring and Sarah was aware of this when I made my appointment. She made me very comfortable and the whole experience was a breeze. While waiting for the bleach to work, I saw a couple of Sarah’s customers get their hair done and all were very pleased with the results. Her expertise isn’t limited to coloring. My hair is short and she can definitely work with it and do linings as well.

I bring my mother to Color Me Salon regularly and she is always more than pleased with the service. The cost for is affordable and we are always greeted with a smile. Color, hair cuts, wax, blow dry, curling, straightening and hair styling are all offered. My mother is in a wheelchair which makes getting her to the salon difficult at times, Sarah (owner/​stylist) let us know that she also offers house calls when needed. She is awesome.

Love this place! I got my haircut here a couple of years ago when it was at the California/​logan location. When they moved, I wasn’t sure if they had moved to suburbs so I’ve tried many different places in Logan and was never really satisfied. So i did Unilocal search on color Me Salon and they’re still in the neighborhood. HALLELUJAH!
I’ve gone down to a short hair style and today she did an amazing job. I had long hair style back then and she also did an amazing job. (And i have asian hair not the easiest to cut)
oh yeah, did i mention it was also very affordable!
will definitely go back.

Love love love this place! My previous hairdresser’s shop closed and I had no idea where she moved to. I went MONTHS without a cut because I was afraid of trying someplace new. So I Unilocaled a few places and came across Color Me Salon. It got great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Sarah is so nice and understandable. She got to know me and made sure she knew what I wanted before even beginning. Really great price for a great quality cut and wash — $ 14!!! Amazing! I’ve been coming here for about 5 months or so. I will not go anywhere else! I can always trust Sarah with my hair.

Just got a really great haircut here. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but Sarah the owner listened to me and it was like she knew what style I would like. I’m really satisfied and plan on coming back.
