Cleaning Power Cooperative

So, so, so thrilled that there is an option for ethically hiring a house cleaner in Chicago through this awesome women’s cooperative. I am happy to know that the wages the ladies at Cleaning Power make are fair and that their working conditions are healthy and secure.
When you call, they have a fair system for distributing work, so whoever is next to take a job will call you back and arrange for a time – if you only want them to come give you an estimate, say that, otherwise they will come ready to clean! You can have the same worker-​owner come the next time, if your schedule works with theirs and you like their work; otherwise the co-​op can send someone else. I paid $ 35 an hour.
They are friendly and efficient and I’m so glad to be able to support them.
