I think I came here on a great day at a good time(Sunday in June at 12pm) because they made my salad steak bowl with much love! My go to is usually a salad with not many topics so I tend to get«jipped»(aka not much in my bowl), so it brings a smile to my face when the scoops are a good size for the amount of food I’m actually adding in my bowl(5 ingredients in total). Pros: Parking lot Alcohol options Decent amount of seating Clean

Sad to say that Teacher’s Appreciation Day turned into a sick-induced tale for me and my coworkers. I must preface this by saying that I do love Chipotle. For this location, I appreciate the effort that they took to get our order in and make us feel welcome(such as asking us questions about our jobs during a day when it was«BOGO.») We got our food in due time, with some stale chips and guac on the side to boot. Food was as good as it could have been given it’s Chipotle. However, ¾ of us ended up getting sick from eating our burrito bowls last night. We each ordered different meats(from steak, chicken, and sofritas).I experienced abdominal pains late last night. One coworker ended up feeling sick all night from her chicken. Another took the day off because she began feeling sick in the stomach too. Our fourth colleague promptly threw away her second burrito after all this. Unfortunately, this has really left a sour taste and we won’t be returning to this Chipotle. The E. coli scare may have passed, but we’re still feeling the effects. Give Chipotle a few more months to make sure you don’t end up sick like we did.

I received a Postmates delivery from this Chipotle and got HORRENDOUSLYSICK. I did not even eat any PROTEIN from here and I got ridiculously sick. Immediately upon having my first bite, I felt sick to my stomach and extremely ill. I spent the rest of my night projectile vomiting nonstop, as a result from eating here. HORRIBLE. Do not eat here.

Not terrible but def the worst Chipotle I have personally been to. NOTE: if you order online double check your order because they do not read the notes section! I got all the way home to find no sour cream or salsa on the side like I asked for. All my rice was bland and unseasoned, I had minimal meat, and(perhaps this is a difference of locations but) there were no green peppers– only red. Also there was a small scoop of beans mixed in as if they started to put it in but realized it was not part of my order. Boo. Disappointing because I know I’ve had, and was hoping for, better.

The best Chipotle experience I’ve had thus far. Your experience here is really dictated by the individual making your food. I finally saw what a 4 oz. serving of meat looks like on a burrito. I usually cook for myself at home so I know what 4 ounces of cooked chicken, steak, etc. looks like and on a burrito you usually don’t get that. You get extra meat by ordering tacos since they really fill those up nicely. Today I ordered a Carnitas burrito that was supposed to weigh 29.5 ounces according to and it actually came out to 32 ounces or 2 pounds! I actually got extra food this time! Of course, it tasted great as well! Keep this up Chipotle! The service was quick and friendly as well.

I come to this location during the lunch rush quite frequently and have had never any issues. In fact, I think they move quick fast and the food is always good. I’ll keep coming back

I’ve probably been to this location 5 – 6 times over the course of the past two years, I guess because I’m a Glutton for pain, and I can safely say this is the worst chipotle I’ve ever gone to. For starters it always seems to take 20+ minutes regardless of the time of day and number of people in line which compared to other downtown locations is asinine. While they always seem to have enough people working it never seems they have any idea what they are suppose to be doing and are totally unorganized. Also the garbage has been overflowing every time I go in and tables are routinely full of trash. In the time it has taken me to write this they have gotten through exactly 5 orders… ugh

I saw people’s review saying this restaurant has slowly-moving line. I saw differently. The amount of food they put into my bowl is almost twice as much as the Chipotle at DePaul(E. Jackson Blvd). The employees at this restaurant are more than twice as friendly as the Chipotle at DePaul.(I only went to these two Chipotle restaurants so I have no idea about other Chipotle restaurants.) And in my experience I waited shorter here than at the Chipotle at DePaul. Considering the fact that I won’t be full after eating one bowl at the Chipotle at DePaul while I can’t finish one bowl at this restaurant, and the fact that I can order anything I want here but have to suffer from the look of the employee at the Chipotle at DePaul that says ‘excuse me? why the hell you want half-half of both beans?’, as well as all facts I mentioned above, I don’t think there is any reason that I don’t give this restaurant a five-star. Wait, there would be a reason to not give a five-star if there was no parking here, because I need it very much. Unfortunately, this restaurant has a large parking lot in which I am always able to find a slot for my car. OK, now there’s officially no reason to deduct any star from my rating for this restaurant. A well-deserved 5-star.

With all the Chipotle sickness going around, you know I must have had a real craving to risk body and mind to chow down on a burrito. I’m not sure why this place gets so many bad reviews, but I’ve only had good experiences here. Since there’s not much to say about Chiptole except that everyone has their favorite burrito, so I’ll tell y’all my setup: Burrito bowl with tortilla on the side, extra brown rice, extra fajitas, rarely I’ll get pinto beans, steak, mild and medium salsa, corn, sour cream, cheese, lettuce. Hits the spot every time.

The JV Team works here. S L O W E S T Chipotle I have ever witnessed. Always a line at non peak times. It took them 4 minutes to check out one customer with two bowls. I will pre pay and pre order sometimes. It’s never ready and then I wait another 10 minutes. I love Chipotle but they need to bring in some management to make this one even remotely efficient. Wow.

I guess I’ll go against the consensus and say this is my favorite Chipotle location! Parking is hassle-free since they have a lot which is a huge plus. The workers are always so nice to me. I’ve never dealt with a rude or negative person here. They give larger portions compared to several other locations I’ve visited. I always make the mistake of coming during the lunch rush, but the line moves pretty quickly and I see them constantly refilling everything. I never have to go around hunting for a full bottle of Tabasco which is nice. I guess your experience here is a hit or miss. I’ve been lucky enough to show up when everybody’s on their best behavior.

The one star is for the parking lot. Everything else is a disappointment. The line moves terribly slow. They had 6 people working the burrito assembly line and they were all just getting in each other’s way. The rice and meat people didn’t know how to use spoons, so instead of dumping the spoon into your burrito they used their other hand to scrape the ingredients out of the spoon and then patted it down onto your burrito with their hand. The girl wrapping the burritos kept tearing every one, and would then ask the tortilla person for another, which would hold up the line again. The beans were undercooked. The tables were dirty, and the trash was overflowing on the floor. There was more staff in this store than I’ve ever seen in a chipotle, but nothing was getting done. they need to fire everyone here, especially management, and start over

I order on the app all the time and have never had a problem by today I open my bag and see my guac is completely brown. Disgusting. Do you seriously expect me to eat that? Very disappointed.

I really like and enjoy Chipotle! the whole concept but what bothers me is a long line and I got to wait about a half an hour to place an order so with that being said I got to give them to less Stars. That’s all I gotta say. Long wait. Good food!

Upon the reviews of this chipotle you will notice that it’s only a 2 star. It’s a chipotle in the city with parking so of course there is going to be a line. The food goes thru the lines so quick there is no way any of it could go bad. I saw a review about the guac being a light brown? Have you ever had guac. It does this after sitting for 20 min so sorry they can’t sell it all out in 20 min. Come on people. There is a reason people keep coming back to this joint. Food is always good and great feeling after eating. I will say the lines do suck sometimes but that’s what we have Unilocal and Facebook for.

I was super excited when I heard Chipotle opened up near UIC. But this Chipotle is an embarrassment to the franchise. The lines move super slow, the place looks filthy, and their food tastes off compared to other Chipotles. In comparison, the chipotle on Michigan and Wacker is more busier then this location, yet their line moves faster. I’d rather go the Michigan location or the Chipotle near Ogilve or DePaul.

Why this location, why? I’m really upset because it is the only location with a parking lot but I will NOT be back. There was a BUG in my burrito bowl. I was starving and really looking forward to it. I had a few bites and there it was, some bug with wings trying to move in my guacamole and lettuce, moving its gross little feet. I could have been that loud customer and complain but I quite went to the cashier(which had been really nice) she apologized and offered to make me another one. This was her only solution, which to not be rude, I accepted. I did not eat it, as it was prepared with the same batch of ingredients, and walked out. I’m still hungry. NEVERGOINGBACK.

This place is great! I’d come back in a heart beat. The food tastes amazing, they even have red peppers. The staff is incredibly friendly and laughed at my bad jokes. The line moved quick and there is plenty of seating. Plus they have free parking!

Depending on who’s working, you can have a varying experience each time. Some of the staff are aggressive and rude at best. Others are friendly and customer service oriented. It all just depends. I think this location could benefit from surveying peak hours and hiring more staff during those times. I’ve waited in line over 30 minutes on several different occasions. Sadly it’s the only chipotle in the area so going to another is out of the question, especially if you’re trying to make it to see Scandal on time :-)
