I’ve had all this silver jewelry for years — some broken, some I haven’t worn in over a decade — and I finally decided to get rid of it. The gentlemen at Chicago Gold Gallery were wonderful. And I walked out with far more cash than I expected. I still have more jewelry to go through and will definitely be visiting them again soon. What lovely men.
If you have any old jewelry you don’t want or need anymore, I highly recommend going to see CGG.

i fell on hard times and needed to scrap my gold and after visiting another place on Howard i was so lucky to find Chicago gold gallery gabe and his staff where so helpful and honest that i recommend them 100% they are such good folks and they where very professional unlike other places that treat clients in these situations with disdain and arrogance not here they took time to hear me and my situation and thats rare these days things will get better for me and its cause they where there to help and not take advantage of good people god bless them and there business for being there for everyone i will be back to buy from them in the near future customer for life Roy Rudolph

Can’t say enough about this place. Recently took my family of 4 for a week to Chicago for a family vacation. We were on a limited budget but being lifelong Cub fans I thought it would be a great treat for my kids ages 7 and 10 to go to a game that we hadn’t planned for. Unfortunately; I didn’t expect the tickets to cost so much. Luckily I was referred to Chicago Gold Gallery where I got great value in exchange for an old watch I’d grown tired of. Their dealings were fair and service was exceptional. Not only did we score great seats to the game that resulted in a Cubs win. I even caught a foul ball for my son, that’s going to leave a lasting memory forever. Thank you Crissy, Joe, and Gabe for helping make memories possible.

Instead of going the retail route to buy an engagement ring, I recently purchased a diamond and ring/​setting from them. Not only did they work one-​on-​one with me to educate me about the diamonds, but made the whole process easy and hassle-​free. They located stones from wholesalers, let me look at each of them under a magnifying glass to see the condition/​clarity of the stones, then had the actual ring and setting made from scratch based on my input. Rather than overpaying for a lesser diamond and a mass-​produced ring, they really helped me make the perfect engagement ring that was 100% unique and 100% what I wanted. Oh and she said yes btw :)

Once in a while I have a piece or two of jewelry of my own to get rid of. And now that my parents are in their 80s, they’re dumping all kinds of jewelry as well as other assorted memorabilia at my doorstep. And the very first place I go to sell items is Chicago Gold Gallery.
Always knowledgeable, they can sort the quality from the dreck in a heartbeat, and will even tell you in detail the reasons for their positive or negative evaluation.
I never begrudge a business owner trying to maximize their profits. But while other places will try to pay out as little as possible (I especially don’t trust the chain pawn shops), I have always come away from CGG with the feeling that we both made a good deal that day.
Cap all that off with the fact that they’re just downright nice guys, and I am a CGG customer for life.

Chicago Gold Gallery has been around for as long as I can remember, which is important when selling high quality jewelery and guitars. They are professional, knowledgeable and have great customer service. I wouldn’t trust going anywhere else.
