I will try my best to not go on a rant, however after this experience, I am a little more than pissed.
I was told their arrival time would be between 3−5pm, and they are just now arriving at 6:15. The boss was less than apologetic and blamed the entire thing on traffic. He let it slip that they were just heading out at 5:15… Then he offered me $ 10 off, and I eventually talked him to $ 20. I normally would cancel, but I was hosting a party and this was an emergency.
So customer service gets 0 stars. They were the least bit sympathetic towards their customer (me) and asked me to think of them and how late they are working… It’s a little hard for me to feel sorry for them right now.
Maybe this was a one-​time-​thing… But I simply cannot use them again. First impressions are everything.

Let me preface this review by saying I am a clean freak and up until a month ago I will spend three hours every Sunday to clean my house top to bottom but I recentley had back surgery so for awhile at least I cannot clean like I used too. In comes chicago cleaning land, my saviors. They were awesome, for $ 135 (that includes the fridge) the first cleaning was awesome and since they are $ 85 a month for cleanings thereafter I am sold! What used to take me 3 hours was knocked out in just over an hour and all while my boyfriend and I were working from home. The ladies were quiet and efficent and overall awesome! I would recommend this service and will update after my second cleaning just in case the first time treatment was better than repeat customers.
UPDATE: I HAVE TRIED TO BOOK SERVICE TWICE (LAST MINUTE WEEKEND CLEANING) AND THEY HAVE HAD NO AVAILABILITY… MAY BE TIME TO SWITCH

Let me preface this by stating that I had zero time to research cleaning places as I literally had no options for a last minute cleaning… nothing was open and I was in a hurry. I was concerned that my lack of research would lead to a really unhappy day for me…
However…
I called Chicago CleaningLand (part of Chicago Cleaning Services) at the last minute for a same-​day move in cleaning (on a weekend!). The person who answered the phone was very nice, and managed to fit me in. He warned me ahead of time that it was possible that the cleaners would be a bit late because they had a previous job, however, he gave me a latest time they would arrive. My only small complaint is that I had to call to check as they were about 20 minutes after the latest time… However, I do understand that I was a last minute order, and that traffic was relatively bad that day.
So…the first woman to arrive indicated that she couldn’t perform miracles (yes, the place was messy…), so I was a bit concerned. The second woman to arrive was really friendly, but when I saw her, she hadn’t seen the place, so I was anticipating that she would change her tune once she got into the apartment…
In any case, they said they’d call me about 15 min before they were done and made me promise not to go far… when they called about an hour and 15 min later, I thought that there was no possible way that they could have finished… I mean, the place needed help. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised. They managed to clean the fridge to a sparkling wonder… the floors were fabulous (I think they had to do them three times…) and they basically did work miracles.
I was thrilled with the work — thanks very much!!! The last minute cleaning really helped my sanity. Yay!
