Chicago 5K Lung Run

Decided to do this run with my little brother since he had to have surgery for multiple spontaneous pneumos. It’s held in the Lincoln Park Zoo area, but was not that easy to find. In fact, we got lost searching for the start line that we were 11 minutes late! We didn’t want to waste the trip so we ran it anyways. A good number of volunteers to cheer you on. Your typical 5K with water @ the half way point. Did not appreciate the fact that there was another run going on at the same time because of the fact that their finish line was at our 2 mile marker… misleading! Dri-​fit shirt in the goodie bag if you sign up early enough! Couldn’t find street parking so ended up paying $ 25 for just 1.5 hours… the silver lining… we were right next to the Green City Market & got to walk around.
