We enjoyed breakfast here, but I was not wowed. Glad we tried it though! Will think about coming back when I have a sweet tooth! Street parking, cute/quiet setting, good customer service… I ordered the sausage crêpe with a cappuccino. Both were good, but I found the sauce provided with the crêpe was needed due to its slight dryness. They also accept card.

Wow. This place is delicious. We live in the neighborhood but would travel across the city for these crepes. I had the peanut butter crêpe and my husband had the sausage. Both were amazing. The next time you are craving a crêpe or panini run don’t walk to Café Versailles!!!

I really disappointed about customer service. When I asked him«Do you have wifi?». He answered that if you want to use free wifi, you can go to the next coffee shop. That was a good answer for customer who want to eat your food and search the web. Next, when i sat down and i put my bag on the table. He came to my table and put my bag on the chair instead. Then I asked him why i can’t put my bag on the table? He answered that your bag is dirty!!! Bad service that I’ve had in the restaurant. If your food is good, but your service is poor. I think nobody want to go there.

A friend and I tried this place on a whim. I had an omelette crêpe, which was delicious. The crêpe are light and evenly browned with nice crisp around the edge. Cute, pleasant atmosphere with attentive, friendly owner and staff. We will visit again!

Great adorable café! The crepes are delicious and the coffee is fantastic! We tried several different types of savory crepes and sweet. The owner is very friendly!

I’ve been here so many times and this is definitely the best place to get crepes. The staff is extremely nice(they even gave us some cookies for free during our first visit!). My favorite crêpe is definitely apple caramel. The parking could be hard to find but the place is definitely worth visiting.

The whole experience here was lovely. The crepes were delicious. The chef was amenable to me ordering my own crêpe flavor combination. I had a most excellent cappuccino. The service was wonderful. I highly recommend this jewel.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Beautiful, perfectly crafted lattes, huge crepes full of fresh ingredients, and the staff is so friendly. We had three crepes; the Hawaiian crêpe with pineapple, mango, coconut, and dark chocolate, a banana and three berry crêpe with Nutella, and a savory crêpe with spinach, roasted veggies and feta. The savory crêpe was served with a scratch made hot sauce that was so good I wish I could bring a bottle home with me. If you haven’t been here, go! You don’t regret it. If you have been here, go back.

I’ll start this off by saying crepes just aren’t my thing. Also, I’m wayyyy more into savory than sweet. The cappuccino was beautiful and perfect. We shared a three cheese crêpe. Not a fan. The sweet crêpe with the unmelted bagged shredded cheese was kind of gross. I had the ricotta and raspberry with Nutella. This was better. However, could have been better if the ricotta wasn’t crumbled like feta or goat cheese. I like ricotta creamy. It was almost like the ricotta was refrigerated too cold. The person I was with, who loves crepes, said he loved his sweet crêpe but not the cheese one. Thought I said add that. And that’s all I have to say about that. Jackée

This place is very friendly, I wished I liked the food better. I ordered a chicken, brie and spinach and a café au lait. I was with three other folks. One ordered the escargot, another a nutella and banana and another savory crêpe. It’s definitely a neighborhood joint and it is very small inside. Kind of like eating at someone’s house. The food even came out one by one. By the time the last person got their food, the first person was done. The crepes are too crispy and no flavor. I would have preferred an eggier crêpe. My chicken was overcooked and dry. It would have been helpful to have a little sauce with it. They«ran out» of carmelized onions. We were there on a Sunday at 1. Kind of weird, isn’t it? In any case, I feel that we can make tastier crepes at home. I really really wanted to like this place. Sorry.

I randomly stumbled upon this place and tried out a few crepes, savory and sweet — they were very simple and delicious. The savory crepes had a lot of fresh ingredients and same with the sweet crepes! This place has more of a Mediterranean vibe to it. I would highly suggest ordering a crêpe — it is their speciality.

Drove past this place so many times, finally stopped in. It was worth it! Immediately you are greeted by a unique and modern décor. The gentleman that greeted us was polite. The menu was very easy to read and the prices were great. The drinks were delicious, the smell really of freshly made coffee is really soothing. I had the veggie crêpe, with mushrooms, spinach, cilantro, olives and mozzarella. It was delicious! The presentation of the food is really spot on! Will be back!

The ingredient is very fresh and the environment very cozy when they are served, it did not look like big portions, but when you are done, it feels just right… not greasy or overly sweet either, very healthy nothing really stand out, would be a 3.5 star, i give it a 4 because everything is like $ 8 and under, good value for money

Stopped here for lunch on the way home from a meeting with a co-worker. What a GREAT choice we made! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had and the service was impeccable. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. He was so friendly and took the time to learn our names and explain the menu to us. I will definitely make it a priority to go back there whenever I am in the neighborhood!

I met a customer at Macys, and he is the owner of this place and he was the sweetest down to earth man I ever met, and he told me about this little café business that he does with his brothers and he told me it was zabiha/halal which was perfect, we need more places like that. And I got super excited and I was at the city the NEXT day after meeting him so I decided to stop by with a friend and it was beyond amazing. I was so hungry. I wanted more than just one meal. I told all my friends about it and now EVERYONE wants me to take them there. definitely should open one up in Schaumburg. :) –Zara

Café Versailles is located in my old neighborhood(Old Irving). I saw it on Unilocal and went here yesterday after work with 1 of my co-workers. Café Versailles is a small crêpe & sandwich shop that seats about 20 people. It has been there for about 2 years. I was talking to the owner & he said they will soon be expanding their menu for dinner too. I ordered a cup of mocha coffee and an apple caramel crêpe.(It was ok, but nothing special). My co-worker ordered the Nutella crêpe with strawberries. This was delicious

I knew this place has been opening for about a year and half, but I never made a conscious effort to try it out until tonight. You know what? I should have done it much earlier. I had some hearty, and the same time, salty lunch today and really just wanted a great cup of coffee. I convinced hubby to come along. We walked from our apartment in Albany Park for twenty(20) minutes south on Pulaski. We then arrived at the destination. It’s a rather small place, but it’s cozy and inviting. We started our meal with latte and mocha($ 2.75 and $ 3.00, respectively). Since I wasn’t hungry, hubby and I shared the tomato, feta, and fresh basil crêpe($ 7) together. The crêpe was DELICIOUS. I know crepes sound like the European-version of pancakes, yet crepes can be made either sweet or savory. I personally prefer crepes than pancakes, anytime of the day. The owner introduced himself to us and asked us how we found here. People seemed to be very kind. I will start coming here since it’s two(2) blocks away from the CTA Irving Park Blue line station. This is my commuter route to work.

This crêpe place was definitely worth the drive! We came on a Monday afternoon during a holiday, and there was a lot of easy street parking that is free. The restaurant is very cozy, and looks like it seats about 20. They have two couches as well. We sat at the window and people watched. Service was quick, friendly, and polite. We ordered the café latte($ 2.75) and café mocha($ 3) to start. Soy is an extra 50 cents. The coffee was amazing! We also decided to get one sweet and one savory crêpe to share. We got the smoked salmon with herbs($ 10) and the house special which had kiwi, honey, and pistachios($ 8). The salmon crêpe was stuffed full of the fish and fresh herbs and came with hot sauce and sour cream. It also had eggs in it. We had the sweet one as a dessert, and were happy with the fresh fruit! The texture of the crepes were thicker than we usually have, but they were very good. We left full, happy, and satisfied.
