Recently, a buddy and I had stopped into this location. I’ve heard of Boston Market but never been to one. I’ve only heard mixed reviews of this«fast food» restaurant. Upon entering this restaurant, I noticed who dated this place is. We proceeded to the ordering area. The menu is very visible and easy to read. We had placed our orders. My buddy had ordered the meatloaf dinner and I had ordered the ½ chicken dinner. With dinner meals, you have a choice of two side orders. Since the meals are 90% prepared, we just had to wait for a few minutes for the staff to place the side orders onto our plates. The staff were friendly enough. As stated earlier, the dining room is very dated. The dining room is large and has an open feeling with the light walls. The chicken was nice and juicy — not dried out. My sides, mashed potatoes and mac ‘n cheese were also good. My buddy commented his meal was pretty good. If I’m in the Old Town /Lincoln Park area and looking for a quick bite, I would definitely return.

I don’t know whether to be ashamed of myself or not, but when I try to eat fast food/some-what healthy I go to Boston Market. I know what I order is far from healthy, but I keep telling myself«hey it’s like a home cooked meal» One day I will look up the calories, but for now I normally get the following: — Quarter white chicken meal — Sides I love(cream of spinach, sweet potato casserole, Garlic dill potatoes, Cinnamon apples) — Chicken Carver Sandwich — Meatloaf meal with two sides The price is right too. It’s about $ 8.00 for an entrée and two sides. Also save your receipt. You should receive a coupon for buy one get one meal free to be used on Saturdays.

So, yes, this is true. I am writing a Review for Boston Market. Because I always give props when props are deserved, and after my lunchtime visit today I definitely feel that props are in order. As I entered I was welcomed right away by a nice guy/associate person behind the counter, and he added to take my time choosing and then let him/ know when I was ready. This was good because I was pretty torn on this new Tuscan Chicken that they are offering now or my favorite meatloaf! Okay, so the meatloaf won this round and then I picked my 2 sides, which were mashed potatoes and green beans. I really wanted this one side cause it had my favorite marshmallows in it but after I gave it the once over I decided it looked too mushy/nasty so I passed. Believe me, that was hard, I love Marshmallows! Gotta say, there were like 4 or 5 people behind the counter serving and preparing the food and they were all so friendly and nice, I liked that! This particular location can get rather busy, it’s located at the corner of North Ave and Wells, in a busy area. But today when I went in it was not too busy, boy did I like that! I wish I had gotten the Cashier Person’s name because she told me if I come in on Saturday I can get a free meal, love freebees! And, if you are patient and take the time to answer the survey you will get 20% off your next visit! However, I am 52, time is of the essence for me. Seriously, I did take the time to answer the survey… So, Big Props to the entire staff at Boston Market today, you guys delivered pretty nicely… And your meatloaf is da bomb! And I hope one day you will make a new dish with Marshmallows… Because when and if you do, you know I’ll be back…

I had a friend back in H.S. who used to work at a Boston Market and he always used to say, «Don’t eva… eva eva eva eva eva eat here. He may or may not have been correct knowing what goes on in the back of the house. At half chicken, two sides, and a corn bread which is a seemingly healthy meal for under a 10 spot, ignorance is bliss.

They are closed for«remodeling» but it’s been about 2 months and I haven’t seen any activity inside at all. It is exactly as it was on their last day of business. Not sure if they are just closed for good or not.
