Complete fraud! The owner and staff will promise anything you want. They may even promise an identical off of a manikin. However DONOT fall for the false promise because the outfits do not look anything like it. She even makes you pay up front and does not return it you. Do not pay for the outfit until you have the piece you’ve ordered in your hands. If you leave the outfit with her for alterations, she will replace the jewels or work with cheaper ones or imitations. Big cheats.

I am someone that hates the thought of having to go to Devon and dealing with the business owners there. I hadn’t been in almost 20 years when I ended up needing to go pretty last minute for an outfit for my little sisters wedding. My older sister and I were in search of a similar outfit but in different colors. After walking up and down Devon and getting to the point where we just wanted to leave we happen to walk into Bee Jee’s as our last attempt. Let me just say that right when you walk in you notice the change in atmosphere and environment from all the other shops. This place is constructed beautifully with gorgeous décor and quality materials. We were approached within seconds of entering and I must say that you will not get anywhere close to this level of customer service and selection anywhere else on Devon! We were thrilled to meet Fatima and Kiran and greatly appreciated their assistance and attention! They were genuinely interested in helping us and wouldn’t let us give up. We ended up finding the two most unique and beautiful matching outfits which were altered for us right away and ready to wear within days! Do not waste your time with all the crazy little shops and owners on Devon! Go to the classiest and most elegant place there first and you’ll be happy you did!

Warning*** if you’re desi, don’t shop here!!! The owners Kiran and her husband refuse to deal with desi’s(because we’re ignorant, slick, and cheap) so this«desi store» is only opened and welcomed for Americans, specifically«Caucasians» so they can rip you off. If you read further, you’ll know why it’s dangerous to shop here, even if you’re not Desi. Genuinely speaking… don’t shop here. I don’t know how they are still open. The moment you walk in, they are all over you, using Allah’s name and promising… the moment you pay, forget everything. You’re not getting what you asked for, you won’t get a penny back even if it’s their fault, and they will be the rudest people on earth! Kiran the owner, yelled and disrespected my family and I in front of other customers. Let alone, her husband yelled in my mothers face. I can’t stress enough how bad their customer service is and how big of liars they are. Save yourself TIME and MONEY! believe me. There are plenty of stores on Devon, great service, great prices, and definitely great service. If I can give it a 0 I would. * they took my money, and refuse to give me the outfit. What more do you want to hear? Oh, and if you want what’s yours, they state that you have to go to court to get it. good luck! ******6 months later!!!****** I got a lawyer(rather pay the lawyer than have them keep the money) and got my money back! Owner also yelled at my lawyer.

After walking around all of Devon with no luck, we ended up going to Bee Jees. We needed to find outfits for all my sisters and parents for my sisters wedding on a short notice. We were so happy with the quality of clothes that we found here. They have the most beautiful and unique pieces, that I hadnt seen in any other store on Devon. The customer service was amazing. They gave us room to shop around while attentively tending to our needs. We ended up buying all our outfits, for all our events, for my entire family from here! Even the cost was very reasonable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the tailoring as well, and I have a very hard time finding good tailors. I am so happy with the quality our purchases and I would definitely come back here in the future.

Worst experience ever! Do not do business with them! They are a total cheat and fraud and lie right in your face! They tell you one thing and do another! They CANNOT be trusted! They still have my merchandise due to their own mistakes and lies and now refuse to credit my credit card account. So I am paying close to $ 300 for merchandise I don’t even have!

I went to Chicago in search of my wedding dress. I searched all of Devon but when I tried on the dresses at beejee’s I couldn’t be happier. They have gorgeous dresses for all events including bridal gowns. I had purchased a dress a few years back for my brother’s dressing from here as well and now I found my wedding dress here too. Their customer service is great, they were able to do the alterations within a day and were able to have the dress ready for me before I left to go back to NY. Ask for Amina and Kiran and they will make sure you get what you are looking for and are very helpful! Thank you so much guys!

I recently visited Chicago and decided to check out Devon street. After looking at alot of indian clothing stores I walked into Bee-Jee’s and was pleasantly greeting by a really sweet, cheerful, friendly and ofcourse helpful Nida. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately showed me a couple anarkalis which was exactly what I wanted. She gave me a really good deal and I ended up buying two anarkalis for myself and two suits for my neices. I must say the collection of suits, saris and bridal wear at this store is the best I have seen on Devon and at the most affordable prices. Most importantly, the two suits I wanted were small for me and they guaranteed that they would be able to alter them to fit me within a day. I went back the next day for the trial and I needed some more adjustments and Kiran immediately sorted out my adjustments and I had both my outfits perfectly fitted on the spot. 24 hours ago I didn’t know that this store even existed but I can confidently say that from now on I’m only going to shop at Bee-Jee’s for all my occasions! Thank you so much Nida and Kiran for a wonderful experience and your great service. Keep up the awesome work!

Eventually got the suit we wanted from Kiran… after 3 separate visits. Would hate to go through this experience with her again. She messed up our suit the first time, and refused to fix it without hours of fighting with her. She doesn’t know how to treat customers with respect, and is extremely rude. Bahut buthameez hai. If you choose to do business with her, be prepared for a headache. Also be sure to ask for a signed order, receipt, and take before and after pictures. Without this evidence, you’ll never get the suit you paid for.

I’m not sure what all everyone else may have experienced or if there is more to their stories. But my family and I had a GREAT experience with this business. We were walking by as they were closing and just peaked in to ask what the price of a lengha was in the window. The invited us in and told us not to worry about closing, they were still working on other stuff anyway. They showed us a few other outfits in the style we had been looking. We worked with the owner and her 20-some year old daughters(totally reminded me of my sisters). They took the time to get to know our taste and what exactly we were looking for. If we said we weren’t interested in something they didn’t push it. They weren’t aggressive like many of the other stores we walked into on Devon and there wasn’t someone attached at my hip following me around showing me stuff that I’m totally not interested in. I found them to be really honest and to the point, not really beating around the bush or haggling like it’s a game. At the end, we paid INCREDIBLYREASONABLE prices for all our pieces. They have a great collection of both Indian and Pakistani styles and designs. I really appreciated the variety of fabrics on most of their outfits. There was a mix of chiffon, georgette, silk and net type fabrics on the various types of outfits. A nice change from the other stores on Devon where it’s like 500 net anarkali’s and a pile georgette sari’s. After out pleasant experience we’re definitely planning to go back to buy some more outfits for my family and friends this wedding season. They lied to us about when the clothes would be ready… repeatedly.
