Barcello’s Pizza and Pasta

This is a pizza place, so delivery should be figured out by now. Our driver called three times. The first time he hasn’t left yet but wanted general directions. The other two times were to find the place. He did not have gps nor did the restaurant give him one. Our food was late, soggy, cold. Gross. $ 30 for two sandwiches and fries that were not good.

Changed the review to a 3 because their menu online was 20% less than the price when I called in my order. When questioned, their response was that the menu on their website is old. They apologized, but didn’t honor the price that they had on their website. Pizza is still good. I only pick-​up. But the total lack of customer service knocked it down to a 2. Food + Service = a high rating in this city where competition is unlimited.

Good pizza decent price that’s when they first opened now they went all the way up to $ 25 for a pizza might as well get it at a restaurant too expensive and thats for pickup can’t imagine delivery $ 30 for a pizza?

I run by this place all the time as I live in the neighborhood. It took me a while to try out this place, but I always have to hit up the surrounding pizza places. The thin crust was on point. We got half pepperoni and half pineapple. Yum!
We also ordered a side of fries while we were waiting for our pizza to finish. At the time they did not have any seating indoor or out, it is only big enough inside to order at the counter. Since then I have seen they have included a nice patio setup with tables and chairs.
We talked with the owner for a while and he told us about some of the cool history behind the name and location of this restaurant.

Good pizza. Only take out or delivery. The ingredients actually taste fresh. Very reasonable prices. I really like the thin crust seeing how crispy and thin it comes out.

Really not that all that great. Went here a few times out of convenience and proximity and I will never go back. Cooks and managers give you the stink eye while you wait and really just make you feel uncomfortable before you are given your food. There also was one time a bald gentleman whom I witnessed smoking some fragrant herbs on the side of the building and then I saw him walk back into the kitchen and then stare right at me while I was waiting in line like I was the one who just did something wrong… The girls up front are the only thing going for this place; they actually treated me with some dignity. Last pizza slice was not that hot, and was covered in a quarter inch layer of oregano… not funny or appetizing. This place will never get any business from me ever again and I have been successful in persuading many from ordering here.

its close to my shop so that’s already good there. The pizza taste great i like it. one of my employees bought me ribs. they were also great and the coupons are also a plus since i buy my employees food i always get party size.

The pizza is fine but last time we ordered carry out they added tip to our credit card.
Very disappointed. Definitely not buying again.

Paid extra for peppers and cheese on beef sandwich, didnt get that. The chicken sandwich that we ordered that was supposed to come with lettuce, tomatoe and mayo-​nothing. Just a dry over cooked piece of chicken on a hard roll.

Tasty pizza, good prices and fast delivery. The thin crust is pretty damn good, I’m happy they moved into the area. The sauce is fantastic!

Reasonably priced and fast delivery. The lasagna with meatballs hit the spot in size and taste. There was so much cheese!
*Tip: the bread that comes with the meal is not garlic bread (as one would expect). It is just a plain French loaf.

Uhm, guys… I’m really looking forward to trying your pizza as I welcome any new pizza joint to the neighborhood… but why the hell does it say «viagra generic canada» under your name on your website? Did you accidentally spill the beans on your side business or something?
ADDENDUM: Looks like they finally noticed the «viagra generic canada» bit on their website since it’s now gone. Too bad, it was a nice touch. And anyway, I tried a Barcello’s thin-​crust today. I can see why this place won all kinds of awards back in the day. Perfect crispy wafer-​thin crust, sweet yet herbal-​tangy sauce, just the right amount of cheese, solid balance of all ingredients… top notch so far. If their pan or stuffed is as good as the thin-​crust, or if the next couple thin-​crust orders are as good as this one, this rating will get bumped up to 5 stars. No sign of Viagra on my pizza though, generic or otherwise.
ADDENDUM 2: Pan pizza was awful. Chewy, toppings that protruded through the cheese were burnt giving it a carbon-​y taste; virtually no tomato sauce flavor. Knocked down a star from 4 to 3, which can be re-​gained if their stuffed is as good as their thin-​crust.
ADDENDUM 3: So I tried the stuffed, and it’s good enough to earn the 4^th star back. The crust was kinda bland and I prefer a thicker sauce when it’s the top ingredient, but overall it was well-​constructed, good overall ingredient balance, very tasty. Not quite top-​tier but very serviceable.

I been going here since they opened its great no complaints pizza taste great super thin crust made fresh… Wing are also good.

We recently had out son’s birthday party catered from Barcello’s. Very accommodating to our needs and got it right. We ordered mostaccioli in marinara sauce, meatballs, barcello’s special pizza and cheese pizza. Everything was delicious and was hit at out party. Will definitely order from them again!
