I had a shoulder/neck pain that was not going away. I was fortunate to have Nicole, Emily, and Danielle all bring me back to full strength and no pain, with Nicole as my main therapist and Emily and Danielle filling in. Each therapist has their own unique style and all were effective. They truly care about healing you and we were able to finish earlier than expected. They are all very sincere and the facility is a very comfortable place to focus on your healing. I am truly in their debt!

After taking a fall on the streets in September, I finally made my way to Athletico. My PT was Nicole, who is just wonderful. She’s an excellent listener and took the time to learn about my pre-fall exercise routine and design a program to get me back in to the swing of things. Nicole pushed me when I needed pushing and sent me off with homework to ensure I made rapid progress. The results speak for themselves — I’m back to walking 5 plus miles daily, doing pilates and being tortured by my evil trainer. Athletico also has massage services and Liz is just wonderful. I saw her while I was wearing the much-dreaded walking boot and she was able to relieve a lot of the pain and soreness I felt from being somewhat unbalanced. Prices are very reasonable.

Did you know Athletico does massages?! For people that don’t necessarily need physical therapy? They do! The South Loop’s massage therapist Jordan is fantastic. His massage/getting a massage from a physical therapy approach was great. There was no pressure to relax and we were able to have an actual conversation about the body and how it works, how dancer’s bodies work, etc. Prices are incredibly reasonable too! An hour massage was only $ 65. I definitely recommend Jordan for performers that are looking for a massage. I will be back.

I recently had surgery to repair the ligaments and tendons in my ankle. After several months in a cast I was feeling very down about my situation, worried about the pain I was experiencing, and nervous about starting rehab… these worries proved to be unfounded. Danielle B., and all of the staff, at Athletico has been great to work with. Each day I went in Danielle listened to my concerns and we were able to work out a plan that not only got me back on my feet, but gave me a bit more confidence and put me at ease during the process. The staff at this location is always friendly. It makes an incredible difference when someone not only remembers your name, but takes an interest in your well-being. They definitely put their patients first here, and should I ever need physical therapy again, I will be calling Danielle.

no way… how am I the first to review this awesome place??! and how did I not review earlier! Tore my acl at age 13, finally at 32, decided to have it repaired… Colleen Hanlon is the best. She knew I was into cycling and that I loved basketball. I told her to be tough on me and she whipped me not only into the best shape of my life, but got my knee back so I was running and playing basketball 6 months after, I ended up doing my first triathlon less than a year after. She only works part time and you have to be flexible on the hours, but trust me, she is worth the wait. On a side note, I did rehab with a few others and everyone here is fantastic!
