Armitage Courtyard Cafe

We really enjoyed our breakfast here! Stopped in here on a rainy morning and were greeted by a friendly woman who made us feel right at home. We grubbed on a chorizo skillet and bacon omelette along with fresh cut fries and some nice strong coffee. This little spot is warm, homey and prides itself on natural, fresh, quality ingredients. While there were some kinks in service, I attribute them to being new, and since the food was so delicious, I will also give them a pass on refusing to serve Diet Coke because of its health dangers — grrr.

What a little gem in this neighborhood! I rode by this a few times and last night found myself a minute away fixing my car at Aaron’s Glass, so my wife and I stopped in here to soak in the last days of being able to sit outside. We’re glad we did!
Breakfast all day is just a winning deal for me! I ordered the chorizo skillet and my wife ordered the cheeseburger. Both were super tasty and the burger was nice and juicy. Be mindful though that the skillet DOES have jalapeños, so it’s got a kick. Tried the coffee and it was pretty good too.
But the selling point is the sweet little courtyard that gives it an almost European feel to the place. You almost feel like you’re not in a Chicago neighborhood for a little bit. There’s a covered area too for winter time and inclement in weather, and the space can be rented for parties. Met the brother of the owner. Nice guy. Keep it up guys, you got something good going! All done with tip was about $ 17. Most likely going to come back!

Yumm! Stopped in for brunch with my pops and was very pleased with what I ordered. I had the bacon breakfast sandwich. Cheesy goodness!!! slammed in less time than it took to make… Low prices, great customer service. Definitely will return soon, gotta try out the rest of the menu

I absolutely love this place!.I just moved to Chicago from Michigan and this is by far the best priced place in the city! I had the cheeseburger and fries and it was so delicious and very Inexpensive. I loved the outside seating. It’s such a clean place with great friendly staff. The food came out quick and very fresh. Their coffee is very very good (I’m a big coffee fan and am very particular about my coffee!) I recommend this place to everyone because it’s good quality for an amazing price. I can’t wait to go there again and eat outside :).

Just went to this cute little gem in Hermosa park. It’s different than any other spots in the area. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only thing I think they should add is some mimosas on the weekends. It would compliment the patio décor. Besides that, I’m definitely returning.

Glad I found this little gem! It’s small, hidden, but so nice! If your looking for a inexpensive breakfast or lunch AND a patio this it. It’s newly remodeled and it’s so cute, no other way to describe it. The food is nothing extraordinary but it’s yummy. Only wish they had a bigger selection on food.

Oh my God I am so glad that I stopped in this place the food is fresh very natural and the owner was the friendliest person ever sometimes you forget you’re in the restaurant and it feels like home. So if this is one place that you thought about don’t think about it. Just go The atmosphere is so welcoming you do not want to leave

was getting a new windshield across the street at Aaron’s glass. they get 5 stars also. Asked them for a place to eat while my car was being worked on and they recommended Armitage Courtyard Café. delicious food. can’t beat the prices. the help was nice and helpful. Definitely will go back. Can’t wait till it is warm enough so I can eat outside in the courtyard

This place is so chill great place to bring your friends or family have a small meal, have a ci hole drinks and just relax. Hopefully this place gets well noticed I like the food and maybe of it get more people they’ll add more to their menu :)

What a great little gem tucked away on Armitage Ave. :) There is a courtyard for outdoor seating when the weather is nice but there are also a few tables inside for cold/​bad weather as well… don’t forget about take out too! Prices are great — a juicy handshaped burger with fries (my fiancés fave!) will run u $ 3.50 .and the breakfast offerings include omelettes with hash browns and toast for $ 4.99. The food is good, staff is super friendly and they even have a 10 coffee punch card where u get the 11^th free. Nice selection of coffees, lattes, espresso, teas and even some baked goods. Parking on Armitage is good. These guys have only been here for a few months, but I hope they stay and grow. They are in walking distance from our house and what a treat to be able to stop by for a biscotti and coffee .or a pot of tea!
