I just walked into 7 – 11 after a workout to grab a power bar(2÷6÷16) 1:12pm. I bought 4 bars for a total that came to $ 8.24. I hand the cashier a $ 5.00 and 4 $ 1.00($ 9.00). She said do you have a quarter and I said no I need the quarters back anyway. She closed the draw and said do you need something else? I said my 76 cents. When I said I gave you 9 bucks she said no you didn’t. I said open your draw and look and she said no. She just basically started berating me, WTF? Ok I don’t care about the money but really? And she sold Cigarettes too some kids(underage girls) right before me. Just to spite her, I reported her to the police sitting across the street. I’m sure they have cameras and she’ll get fined for selling to kids. Use a debit card at this place.

Avoid anything that is not prepackaged at this location. On more than one stop to this location, I, unfortunately, left with stale food. Donuts are like rocks sometimes. They have NOWAY of showing evidence of how long something has been out for sale. I can only assume their belief is «NOMOLD, NOPROBLEM». Their location is only a block away and I will NOT be back.

Rude, rude, rude. I HATE the people who run this 7 – 11. They are unfit for dealing with the public. I realize that they are foreigners but I also realize that there are millions of friendly polite people in their country and that cultural differences are no excuse. I’ve gone there many times and I’ve tried to be friendly and polite but I will never go to that location and spend my money there again. They don’t even acknowledge your presence. They grunt the price of your purchase to you and you often have to ask FOR A BAGFORYOURPURCHASE, which they grudgingly give you. And do they say«thank you » after you’ve spent your hard earned money at their store? Hell no they don’t. There is a grocery store right across the alley from this 7 – 11 and it has a vastly superior selection, quality and price. And guess what? The staff there are delightful people, very friendly and polite . As far as I’m concerned the owners and staff at the Bryn Mawr 7 – 11 are rude, awful slobs and they deserve to lose that business.

So if you want to go to 7⁄11 after midnight, you’ll probably deal with an employee named Anthony… this dude has ADD or is just mentally retarded. His smart ass comments and his lazy attitude will make your experience horrible. I know this guy would be homeless without his job so I won’t tear him apart too badly but this location should be closed after 10pm if this idiot is working the place.

This store is very disappointing, I used greyhounds service that allows you to pay with cash using the PayNearMe service so I was allowed to pay with cash thru this 7 – 11, and turns out that was a bad idea. Gave them cash and I got nothing in return. I was suppose to get a boarding pass and I never got it, and so then I had to go to greyhound and see if they can do anything abt it but since I brought it thru 7 – 11 I had to deal with 7 – 11. And now they don’t want to give me a refund when I basically just paid them $ 200 for nothing in return. Did I called corporate? Absolutely! Next step suing

LOL — the reviews here are priceless. It’s about the safest place I feel on the block especially at night. I am a runner and when I need Gatorade and a quick snack before a long run I run in here. The cashier is funny. She seems to remember people as I think this place gets robbed a lot. At first she looked at me cross-eyed like I may take something. Not sure if that was a black thing or not — I cant tell. But now — since I pay and not sneak around the store like some creepy guys she is a pretty nice woman. Good news is the people in the store are friends with the CPD. The cop that is there wears a Russian Fuzzy Hat(like the Russians who dance low to the ground and kick their legs out– think Elf the movie he was doing it in the mailroom) It makes me feel good when the Cops are there since creepy guys hangout outside and say hi to me and when I say nothing back they call me a B**ch. YIKES. Parking sucks but I double park illegally. LOL!

I was happy to see this store open in the ‘hood, as I’m kind of a fan of convenience stores in general. It’s a good place to hit for a quick junk food fix if Super Food is closed. Bubble gum, newspapers, and the usual array of crap you expect from a store like this. Minus a star for the array of weird guys that has taken to hanging out in front of this store lately. The staff also ranges from indifferent to surly. Ah, but it’s open 24 hours, and I’m always a fan of that.

ok, so it’s a 7 – 11, you know the drill… since it’s right around the corner from where I work, it’s always good for a cup of coffee when I’m too rushed to make one at home. Always a fresh pot brewing and priced about $ 1, certainly more economical than the Starbucks across the street. Also(hold tight now) i’ve had a few hot dogs from this place, and while not great, they do a job of satisfying a quick hunger craving. Includes a condiment station where you can load up on mustard, jalepenos, pickles, onions, tomatoes, chili, cheese, the nine, they have it all.

It sucked when, after years of anticipation for what would become of the boarded up lot on this stretch of Bryn Mawr, the big reveal was a … White Hen, especially given the fact that Super Foods is directly next door. Bryn Mawr would benefit from the opening of almost any kind of business, but we didn’t need another convenience store. Then 7 – 11 took over and it sucked worse. The people are generally surly when they aren’t simply indifferent. They can also be unreasonably rigid and small minded. Like, for example, if their register isn’t working at 7am on a Saturday but you have exact change and just would like to buy one single item and no one else is around because it’s early and miserable outside(i.e., there is zero risk of a stampede of complex transaction seeking customers following me in). Option A would be to sell the item to you, then close the store if they really need to. Option B would be to say no dice and lock the door in your face. Update: After seeing the second review posted here I feel compelled to clarify my review. For the record, my issue w/the service at this location has absolutely ZERO to do with the ethnicity /nationality /color /gender /sexuality of anyone who works there and I think basing any aspect of one’s review on those variables is asinine.
