Awesome place to get delicious tea! The staff is very helpful and informative. They seem to know a lot about every tea they have which I find very impressive. I always have tons of questions about their tea like where it comes from, how it’s made, and the best way to make it. I don’t get the pretentious and pushy vibe like I sometimes get when I visit a Teavana store. Overall great customer service and amazing tea!

I adore this David’s Tea location and the staff definitely seems to love it (or the Tea) too. Every time I go in I am greeted and offered something new to try, but unlike some other stores. they aren’t «pushy» into forcing you to buy something. You may go in knowing you like one kind of tea and they get you interested in trying another.

Cool place in a great location! They have a wall covered in shelves holding hundreds of interesting, exotic flavors of looseleaf tea. You can go up to the counter and ask to take a whiff of as many varieties of tea as your heart desires. The staff can answer any questions that you have about each – they undergo extensive training to know everything you could ever want to know about each tea. I would recommend this place to anyone with an interest in unique teas, whether you want to try something new and aren’t sure what you like, or you’re a knowledgeable connoisseur – they can definitely cater to both types of people.

I was recently in the Chestnut Hill area for a craft sale I was helping at and was so happy to have stumbled upon this David’s Tea one morning. We went three times in one day and each time were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was great! We went back in the next day twice and were greeted with big hellos and smiling faces. Over the two days we bought many lattes and a few iced teas, then on the last day we bought some tins of teas with the advice of our new friends who work there! The tea is all good and there’s something there for everyone! Thanks everyone who works there!

I’m new to tea and decided to pop into David’s while waiting for a friend for lunch. I was immediately greeted by a friendly, upbeat woman who worked there. Unfortunately I forget her name, but she wore glasses and I believe had blonde/​dirty blonde hair. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain a bunch of the equipment (tea bags, kettles, cups, etc…) to me. She asked what I typically drink and used that to pull about 10 – 12 cans of tea she thought I might like. She helped me pick out a few different samples and walked me through what each of them were and the pros and cons of each (steeping too long, burning, etc…).
It can be intimidating walking into a place like David’s when you just started exploring tea from the grocery store (haha). This woman made me feel totally welcome and she was incredibly helpful. I love most of the samples and will be back in to purchase more soon!

Great location, awesome staff, clean and cute store. I’ve tried almost every single tea they have across various stores and never had one I didn’t like. I love David’s Tea!

I really liked this place. My wife and I walked in the other day and were greeted by a friendly gentleman who schooled us on tea. This guy had incredible knowledge. He gave us a sample of some incredibly delicious tea. My wife had a ton of questions and he answered them like a pro, let us sample a ton of different teas and told us about some great sales going on. Extremely impressed. Will be back.

I don’t know who does David’s Tea hiring, but they find the BEST people.
Came in late on a Thursday and was immediately greeted and served some tea samples. Izzy and Paul were so unbelievable knowledgeable and nice. I would come to David’s tea to hang out with them. Izzy was the best! I had a ton of questions about matcha and she prepared me about 4 different samples and made sure I loved it.
It is hard to find this customer service anywhere these days, and it truly makes an impact. I honestly left in a better mood than when I came in. Great people!

Love the products across the board — great variety of tea (duh), awesome accessories and the perfect gift for your mama or client. What makes the whole experience even better? The fantastic staff. Each and every vivacious soul in the store is tea-​rific! Always informative, never pretentious, and perfect at diagnosing my partner and I who thought we were strictly coffee and beer people.
We spread the word, send in our friends and have become dedicated regulars.

Getting there if you don’t know the area is hard (speaking from experience).
On the side of route 9 there’s a bit of a mall — detached buildings all considered 33 boylston because of the right you have to take. davids tea is in the third building of the mall in the back.
There’s parking a plenty!

I stopped in twice last week when I was in Mass for work. Both times, David was super super helpful and gracious and friendly! Made me a great recommendation with the Cocoa Canella and now I’m hooked… thank you!

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The customer service is always amazing — they take the time to talk to you and help find exactly what you’re looking for. The selection of teas and tea accessories is never lacking. I’ve never left here unhappy!

Just taking a moment out of my day to commend the staff at David’s Tea. My husband and I wandered in shortly after dinner and very close to closing time. The two associates working that evening (¹⁰⁄₅), could not have been more helpful and friendly, educating us on so many different types of tea! I will be back again soon for more delicious tea. :)

Teas were pretty tasty and their shop has some really inventive tea-​addicts ware, but the girl working was extremely rude and pretentious. She told me the way I wanted my tea wouldn’t taste good and look absolutely bewildered on how to make a half steam soy/​half hot water tea latte. I get them everywhere and who was she to judge my tea taste?!?

I defy anyone to have anything less than a wonderful time at this store. Everyone at David’s knows their stuff and they are just so amazingly passionate and fun to talk with. I love having a sample in my hands as soon as I walk in the door and I usually leave with a big bag. David in particular is our staff favorite and he’s turned us on to some great teas. We usually swing by as soon as the new seasonal offerings are on display. Top notch product, incredible people and BIG style points.

I have always had such a wonderful experience at this location but on Friday, it was so remarkable that I had to write a little something on Unilocal.I was offered two teas to try as part of a tea comparison type of contest being held and fell in love with the Sweet Lime. I actually ordered the last bit of it and received an incredibly knowledgeable bit of tea information from Izze while enjoying witty quips from another employee (I believe Jason?)
It was obvious both love working at Davids and their attention to detail and warmness towards all customers that entered ensures I will absolutely be back, often.

Awesome service, tons of amazing tea, great customer experience and really good prices. I was helped by an extremely attentive and dedicated staff that asked me what kind of tea I liked and then displayed and explained about 20 different teas for my friend and I. All were of excellent quality and very bold in their mixing and design. For 3.50 for an ice tea and customer experience of this quality I was blown away! Will definitely be going back

I’ve come to learn that DavidsTEA is like the Starbucks of the tea world. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the great staff who knows more about tea than you know about your own mother.
You can get tea hot, cold, fizzy, sweet, unsweetened, milk, no milk… name it, you’ve got it! The wall is covered edge-​to-​edge with canisters of different types of tea that you can smell and see in order to make your ultimate decision.
They have teas of the day that vary, obviously, daily. There are also seasonal flavors, of course. Did you know that there’s a tea out there that has the same caffeine as coffee and tastes like chocolate??? Now I do!
If you don’t want to sip in the store, you can obviously purchase loose-​leaf tea to go, or buy gift packages of them. There are mugs, matcha whiskers (or whatever the real name for those tools are!), teapots… name the tea paraphernalia, and they’ve got it!
There’s a ton of parking, some seating both inside and out, and the prices with tax included always end in a 0, which is a nice little perk. The «Frequent Steeper» program is a pretty nice deal; however, I feel like it’s going to take me forever to drink $ 100 worth of tea!
A nice new addition to The Street that shouldn’t be missed!
