Such a quaint marina. Great location with a short, pleasant walk into town. There is a lovely boardwalk along the water leading toward town. The marina has a small ships store, a washer/dryer and a restaurant«The Fish Whistle» next door. The dock master is friendly and kindly let us pick which slip we wanted which made it easy to dock. We chose a slip on the dock right in front of the marina so it was a quick, sort walk to the bathhouse. The slips on the last dock lead to a gravel path as the wooden pier is under construction. We had a very nice time here and Chestertown is a great town! Wonderful bakery, restaurants, shops and places to walk. Would definitely be back.

Bring your life vest with you when you get off your boat because the dock is sinking! At high tide the water covered the dock in several places and was halfway up my calf when I was walking to shore. I also took a bad fall at low tide because the boards that submerge are so moss covered that it’s like walking on ice. The boating amenities are ok, but coming back to the boat at high tide and finding our shore line hanging in the water because the dock was submerged was very disconcerting.
