What a great little farm fruit market with the park district behind it offering miles of walking trails. Their fall fun fest is such a great time for the kids but this is at their other location.

Great place for getting your annual cider and doughnut fix in this area. We go when we are visiting our kids near there. Nice variety of doughnuts and many other products. If the weather is decent, it is fun and relaxing to wander around the grounds with things for kids to post adults to enjoy.

Best apple fritters, ever! Scenic place. Good ready-to-cook soup packets(I liked the wild mushrooms and sherry one). Good Amish snacks. Best apple fritters, ever! Who needs a freakin’ high-maintenance Cronut(lines and all) when you have these scrumptious apple fritters(no lines, decent price)? Would return just for these.

We usually love this place but today the apple fritters were half the size and raw in the middle. Looks like they are having trouble handling the crowds.

Just wish things in the store could cost less so I could buy more stuff there. Apple picking was fun!

The freshest donuts, apple fritters and pies! I always order them for Thanksgiving and enjoy the ride out there. They let you sample all the apples available for purchase. Their orchard is huge with al least 20 variety of apples. I had a blast at the Unilocaler outing!

I reserve the right to come back and change this. At the time we went we looked them up on line and they said that peaches were in season. We showed up and they said they did not do peaches. But, their donuts were in season. ??? Yes, there is a bakery in the back. Oddly enough, there were folks there pealing peaches for their pies. I guess they were not ‘their’ peaches. Anyway, I have been to a lot of other orchards that really mix it up. So I think I will come back in the fall for apples and see if they can redeem themselves.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They offer many varieties of apples and you can sample each kind before purchasing. Their apple cider is incredible. The last time I visited I was lucky enough to try their honey crisp apple cider which is only available for a limited period of time each year. In the room adjacent you’ll find their donuts. Wow. These donuts are phenomenal. Their made with the fruit grown on site. The blueberry donuts are better than any I’ve ever had! Their apple fritters are also delicious as well. I recommend stopping by and giving this place a try when you’re in the area!

Apple fritters are out of this world(must eat warmed-up)!! Delightful selection of fruits, jams, doughnuts, fresh produce, popcorn, pickles, etc. Beautiful outdoor area with playground and swings or seats for patrons to enjoy the breezes from the valley below while enjoying their fresh-baked treats.

This place is wonderful! I came here with some friends on a Saturday morning for some strawberry picking. Once we arrived, we were given a box per car, directed to a patch of strawberries, and assigned a row where we can pick. Most of the strawberries during this time of the season were really small, but still very sweet! Within 30 minutes, you’ll probably pick a few pounds of strawberries. After you’re done picking, someone will weigh it. It’s $ 2.50/pound, which is a little bit cheaper than what you pay at the market. I really enjoyed this experience and look forward to coming here next summer too! Btw, make sure you come early! We came at 9am and the first patch of strawberries was already closed. Also, wear closed toed shoes! I wore sandals and got a lot of weeds/dirt on my feet :(

Very cool place! We spent a Saturday there and at a couple other local spots. For those of you westsiders its like mapleside on the eastside. We bought a couple apple fritters from the bakery and they were probably the best Ive had. After visiting there we drove to the orchard to pick our own apples. The best part of this experiecne was the taste testing(they encourage it) The staff on the farm was very helpful with educating on the different types of apples there. The prices were slightly higher then the grocery store but it worth it. Eating an apple right off the tree is much more enjoyable then eating one that has been covered in that shiny crap like the ones at stores. If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids I’d suggest checking this place out.

I’ve loved every visit I’ve made to Patterson’s! It truly is a quintessential fall experience in Northeast Ohio. Whether picking some apples, getting a pumpkin for carving, or purchasing items in the farm market(Must try the apple cider! They have yummy fresh baked treats and delicious looking produce too!), Patterson’s offers something for everyone. Everyone is so friendly and helpful too. They really seem to love what they’re doing. Oh and don’t forget about going to pick strawberries in the summer!

All of the stuff that makes fall my favorite season is here and if you’re looking for an orchard to add to your Northeast Ohio traditions you need look no further than Patterson Fruit Farm. Take the drive out to Chesterland, enjoy the colorful leaves and breathe in the crisp air. You can get your fall fix with plenty of fresh apples, apple cider made on site, chocolates from local artisans, Amish jams and jellies, pumpkin butter, the list goes on and on. They’ve also got a large outside area chock full of pumpkins, a kettle corn stand and plenty of picnic tables if you just can’t wait until you get home to dig into your goodies. Patterson’s really is fall. My wife and I have been coming here as long as we can remember and while we lived out of state for four years we missed it. I almost forgot, they’ve got fresh-made pies and donuts, too. I hold this place personally responsible for contributing to my winter chub. This year I wandered out with an entire pecan pie, several boxes of sea salt caramels, a bag of pecan pancake mix, two caramel apples, and a donut. My salivary glands are going just thinking about it. For us it just isn’t fall until we’ve made the drive to Patterson Fruit Farm. Their staff is always friendly, the seasonal food and apples are plentiful and the memories are free.
