The food was fine but I think the owner might be a bit of a grump. We had the chicken strips and suggested an additional dipping sauce that the cook might try. The waitress leaned in and told us he is set in his ways and doesn’t really like that kind of input. I like to feel welcome when I eat someplace and that memory has just stayed with us and keeps us away.

Food was good – we got the combo platter and some potato skins. Service also good – bartender was very nice and quick. So why only one star? It’s 4 on a Monday, and dead in here, so my boyfriend and I didn’t find it too inappropriate to bring our five year old daughter. She’s very well behaved and we never have any issues in restaurants or bars. We just wanted a quick drink and to watch the baseball game. While we were waiting for our food an older man with a mustache – possibly an owner or manager, not sure – rudely told my daughter to stop pressing buttons on a game if she’s not going to play. Maybe that does have some effect on the golf game that I am not aware of, but he don’t explain his reasoning or apologize even though my boyfriend and I were visibly confused. I work in this industry, and having that kind of employee at any level is terrible for business. We won’t be back.

I’m honestly shocked at how many people say that the staff was friendly. That was not our experience at all. Five of us walked in to a very empty bar, 3 girls and 2 guys, and immediately upon arrival one of the owners without greeting us, YELLED across the bar to see the girls’ ID. I understand the laws, I used to bartend myself, but thought it was a little rude asking only the girls and not the gentleman. I gave him the opportunity to joke around about it… but instead he turned into a little, arrogant, disrespectful, man. He stated that the liquor patrol had been by on several occasions and needed to be careful-which I would still think means that he needed to ID the guys as well(in this case the all but one girl was actually older than the boys). Please remember that at no point did we deny him to look at our ID’s. I apologized to him-as our third friend was looking through her wallet for her ID-and he just could not let it go. He continued to badger us out loud, as well as mutter under his breath about the ID rules, questioning why we were from out of state.(Really?!) Man… we get it. At this point I gave him the opportunity to be nice saying that we would leave his already empty place and he would lose money because of how incredibly rude he was being… he then became worse. We will never go into this place again or allow our friends to go into this place. Although we currently live out of state, we are from this area and made a big mistake in going there last night. I don’t even think my review explains how incredibly nasty this little man was to us. I have only one other time written a bad review on Unilocal-I’m pretty easy to please and down to earth, but could not believe how quickly things turned for this man. I understand we all have bad days, and hopefully he is not this big of an ass often, but to lose customers with an already empty bar… yikes. I guess it was empty for a reason. PS. The only reason this place gets one star is because I am not allowed to give zero.

Great local sports bar and grill! I went there for lunch by myself earlier this week, and had never been there before. I was wamrly greeted and was brought my drink order quickly. It seemed as though the bartender and waitress knew everyone that came in the door by name. I ordered a cheeseburger and steak fries. My food came quickly and was cooked to perfection! I know some people will say, «well you only had a burger», but it really was a good-tasting burger! Thick, juicy, well-seasoned, fresh, and HUGE. The service was really good and all of the staff talked to me while I ate. There are a ton of TVs everywhere in the restaurant and they are all tuned in to a different sport, so no matter what your preference in sports is, they will be showing your desired game. I had a coupon, which is what brought me in, and they were so kind as to let me keep my coupon to use on another occassion, while still taking the discount off! Excellent customer service! I WILL be back!

Old school neighborhood sports bars –Lots of TVs & posters –Great wing, burgers & steak fries –friendly service We usually come for the pitcher(Bud, Bud Light or Bud Select) & the wings(2 boned more flavorful skin«flappers» only & our usual 5 alarm sauce). I finally ordered the(medium) burger w/everything(the onions sautéed) & hot pepper cheese. The burger was thick & juicy. The bun was a nice Kaiser roll. I really like thick cut fries with a crisp outside & mushy interior. These fries delivered.

First visit today for lunch with my beautiful fiancée who discovered The Sports Page from #TasteCards she purchased for various restaurants. We were craving burgers and were in the area, and all signs pointed us to The Sports Page. Started with some wings with their standard hot sauce. Very tasty, had about 8 meaty wings with a solid yet basic wing sauce. All drummies too, which was an added bonus for my lady. The bartender(I would put money on owner) was very friendly and fast. We asked another man behind the bar for a suggestion when he refilled our waters and brought us beers, he said he was the cook and the burger was the way to go. We ordered a couple of their ½ lb burgers which come pretty basic but you can add what you want. I went mushroom, swiss, bacon and sauteed onions… she went with standard garden and bacon with cheddar. Both were perfectly prepared to temperature and very juicy. Not sure where the buns came from, but they were also delicious. Melt in your mouth good. Steak fries were also great… nice crispy edges and came out piping hot. She went with house made chips, also very tasty and both were plentiful. We added a side of onion rings(had to hit $ 30 for our coupon to work and we were at like $ 27), no complaints with those either. Service was excellent… the bartender, who also had a very lovely mustache, and not one of those«its 2014 and I’m hip» mustaches, but a real old school«I’ve had this since you were crappin green» mustache, was very attentive and you could certainly tell most of the patrons were regulars. He asked us all about ourselves and where were found out about the bar… even joked with us a few times telling us when we ordered so much food that we weren’t allowed to leave until it was all done and giving my lady crap for not cleaning her wing bones. Can’t wait for our next trip to The Sports Page… the guy next to me had some chicken strips that were hand breaded and very large, I will be trying those bad boys.

We went in for lunch after our kids soccer game with about 10 to 15 people and were told they weren’t staffed to take care of us and they suggested we go to Steak and Shake… so we did.

Best dang sports bar in Missouri. Has a great neighborhood feel. Awesome burgers and wings! Great prices as well. This place became my home away from home. Plenty of tvs, golden tee, pool, darts, and others. The locals love it, and often have events like Cook offs there for fun. Great crowd always!

I come here to see friends. This is a sports bar that has been around a long time. It would be nice if they would invest some money in new chairs and tables. Some of them are falling apart and they are not comfortable either. Service is much better now that a long time bartender is gone. The ladies rock it. Chicken wings and burgers are pretty good here. It is a limited menu so if you want more selection in a bar type situation head to Satchmos.

What a sports bar should be. Nice neighborhood place, great burgers and wings, the staff is friendly and efficient and there are plenty of TVs, wherever you’re sitting and whatever way you’re facing. I had wings and a blue cheese burger with everything. Child beer to top it off. Now, how about a victory over the Dodgers.

Seems like I get here about every two years. Mrs K. had knee replacement surgery and after her two week check up I decided she need bar food. Nah not really. Just not that far from where we were and where we are going. Mrs K. had a BLT with chips. and I of course had their burger. Man this burger and fries just are the best. I was telling Mrs. K. that I have been coming here for over 30 years and the burger, fries, have never varied in the great quality.

I rarely find myself this far out in the suburbs but when I do, I am stopping at Sports Page. Great local bar atmosphere with killer wings. They are some of the best in St. Louis. Not to mention their other bar food including the mozzarella sticks, burger and chicken tenders. Not the healthy options here but just good olé’ bar food that pairs perfectly with an ice cold Budweiser while you watch your favorite sporting event. Owners and wait staff are friendly as well. It is kind of hidden off of Olive in a strip mall, so be on the lookout and give it a try next time you are in the area. Yay for a locally owned, delicious sports bar in the burbs!!!

The wings at the sports page are amazing. These are definitely the best buffalo wings in St. Louis. Wings are cooked fresh to order and are never old. The hamburgers are also quite legendary. The people on this site that criticize the hamburgers do not know what they are talking about. I also love the steak fries and the deep-fried breaded mushrooms. If you like BLTs don’t pass up the sports page BLT it’s hearty and great. The sports page is a great place to go if you’re looking for great bar food. It’s also a great place to go if you want to watch sports as they have 1 million TVs!

A sports bar in every way… minus the tight shirted waitresses. I wanted a place to watch the Blues game this past Friday. Sports Page is tucked away on Olive behind the Dairy Queen at the 141 intersection. For 7pm on a Friday I was surprised at how slow they were. They had a handful of customers but more tables were open than not. Sports crap adorned every wall… a hood of a Nascar, Mizzou, Blues, Jayhawks, Rams and Cards gear, tons of neons. The walls are white but you barely can tell. Every inch is taken. The place is much bigger than it seems from the outside. They have a main dining area, a bar area, and a game room. I asked our waiter… who may be the owner or manager too… what’s best on the menu. He quickly replied with wings, burgers, and the Ruben. We ordered one of each. The wings were good… a la Culpeppers or Tucker’s. The burger was char grilled. I liked it too. The Ruben was ok. They also make some pretty good house chips for the sandwiches. All in all good food, good portions. While this place doesn’t offer anything much better than some of the other sports bars in town, they do what the do well. And you want to root for them. Obviously locally owned, with invested workers who care about the place.

Love this place. I’ve been here a bunch since writing my previous review, and wanted to re-affirm the review. I meet up with a bunch of friends for lunch on a monthly basis. And, I got ‘em hooked on The Sports Page. Took a client there today. He hadn’t been, and loved it. Great burgers! The folks who work here are pretty cool, too.

After seeing this bar had been voted as the best burger in Chesterfield for several years, I finally decided to try it out. Good Lord, I was not disappointed. This wonderfully thick, juicy, pink-centered, ½ pound burger was absolutely phenomenal. Biting into it literally gave me a foodgasm. I would also recommend upgrading to the steak fries as a side. The chips were decent, but the steak fries were about ten times better in my mind. You definitely need to order the wings as an appetizer. I don’t know if they deep fry them extra long or what, but the crispiness of these wings was unlike any other I’ve had, and the smell of them cannot even be described in words. Although I did not partake in any beer drinking, they had a good selection and some great specials. I will definitely be back to indulge in some of those very soon! Finally, the setup of the bar is pretty cool. Good amount of large flat screen TVs, a ton of sports memorabilia(Mizzou and KU gear are littered all over), and several dart boards and pool tables among other amazing bar games such as Golden Tee. This place definitely has the potential to become my new go-to sports bar in the area.

I was looking for a sports bar to watch some NFL and grab a quick bite. Read the reviews on this place and was not disappointed. The wings, all drummies by the way, were nice and crispy, with no breading… just the way I like them. I added a side of homemade chips which were pretty standard. There were multiple tv’s with all of the games on including the NFL red zone channel. I sat at the bar, and the service was quite good. I never had to ask for anything, including a refill on the Boulevard Wheat, which I can not get at home in Fl The only reason there are 4 stars instead of 5? VERY limited Sunday menu as only half the kitchen in open. But, if you like burgers, wings, chicken tenders or a grilled chicken sandwich and ice cold beer to wash it down with, it’s just fine Looking forward to watching some playoff football when I return to STL in Jan

Divey, but fun place. We caught 2SF giants games here when we were in St. Louis and the beer is cheap and cold and the staff is super friendly. Food was just average.

FANFREAKINGTASTIC. I’m a happy girl after last Friday night at the Sports Page. The hubby and I took the little one to grandmother’s house and we had just a few hours to play so we went to the Sports Page in search of a lovely dive bar experience. And that terrible song creeps into my mind, «Shots! Shots! Shots!» ugg I hate rap music… but, alas, shots are exactly what went down. Lots of ‘em. Well, for me, anyway… my hubby had to drive. Mental note: Shots aren’t cheap. Anywhere. Back to the review. One cheeseburger medium rare… cooked to perfection. One order of the sampler platter… an assortment of fried delicacies. Two domestics… Don’t you JUDGEME. It’s a dive bar. There’s no freaking Stella. Okay? Oh yes, and an order of onion rings for good measure. Can I just tell you that they have some delicious f@*#*&$^ buffalo wings??? What the crap? I was so sad that I didn’t get the memo because, even though my fried cheese, fried ravioli, fried mushrooms and fried onion rings were delicious, these wings were rockstars. They weren’t dredged in hot sauce– I hate that. Wings do not equal bbq, if you ask me. I like a little sauce but let’s not get carried away(not casting stones or anything… IMO’S). JUICYONTHEINSIDE. CRISPONTHEOUTSIDE. It’s not rocket science, but if it was, these people would be mad geniuses. Big Buck Hunter. Need I say more? Juke Box. I love you old sad country songs on real 45’s. Pool tables and darts. A few TV’s and a non-smoking section for the babies. God bless America.
