Done with this store, and Schnuck’s all the way around. Can’t believe that my wife(who is a Type 1diabetic) was denied access to the food she needs by some wine jerks(Seriously? A wine tasting on a Wednesday night?) that would not get out of the way while she was trying to shop. And furthermore, the check out girl(when my wife complained) said«Aw, they’re just drunk«. Not is there anything I can get you?

I really liked this location. The layout works for me and it has a great lounge area on a patio overlooking the main floor with couches and plenty of tables if you want to study or eat.

This Scnhucks is so lovely, it has an old-new feel. Not super chic like Culinaria downtown but some of the same amenities; balcony seating for you to grab a bite and eat on site. They’ll cook your purchased fresh fish for you while you wait. They serve Kaldi’s coffee as well.

Prices a little high and selection is limited compared to the Schnucks I frequent most. But the place is super clean and the prepared food is great. I don’t normally do grocery store sushi but it’s outstanding here. The sandwiches are good, too. There’s also a nice upstairs area for eating with a TV.

Stopped here tonight to pick up some items for dinner tomorrow night. There was a really funky smell in the meat department that really turned my stomach. I don’t know what it was but I could not linger anywhere near that half of the store. Grabbed some good looking produce and some milk when Husband realised that we needed something that we consider a pantry staple. It is a refrigerator squeeze bottle of minced garlic. They did not have it — that was kind of unfathomable to me. it will probably be a while before I return to this store.

A bit of a bougie store to be honest. I heard live music playing once. It was kind of relaxing but then I remembered… I am in a grocery store! Wtf? Other than that, they have pretty much everything I need. Couple things missing: Cosmopolitan Magazine and Sriracha Hot Sauce. The place is really clean and new and the employees are very pleasant!

Some might say that a Schnucks is a Schnucks is a Schnucks; that each individual grocery market is a carbon copy of their 90+ locations throughout St. Louis and the Midwest. But there’s something different about this one. The employees ask how you’re doing, and if they can help you. They smile… a lot. They seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and getting to know the members of their community. If that isn’t enough, this particular store features an especially stellar beer selection, frequent wine tastings, and eclectic activities such as watermelon-eating competitions. Bravo, Schnucks — you’re the crème de la crème of supermarket shopping in the Lou!

I am from out of town and we do not have this chain in my area. I wish we did. They have a great selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices. They have excelent produce but I found their meat section to be lacking. If you are familiar with Publix this store is a step up from that. There is just a bunch of better items that you will not find in your normal grocery store.

Bumping this up a star for their great selection of beers. The bands on the balcony is still odd…

I work at a competitor so I don’t frequent other grocery stores often just because its easier to shop at my own. However, this place is close and has some cool this location only deals. They don’t always have a huge selection of everything but the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Their produce is always nice and they have the basics. The parking is weird for sure and this isn’t your average grocery store — they have wine tastings, watermelon eating contests, among other things. But, the small unique aspect and lack of crowds is what keeps me coming back!

I went in here today to get some normal daily/weekly groceries. And in the process at this new fancy-schmancy joint, all I got was snoot, from the staff and from the patrons. I don’t get it. This is supposed to be plain old grocery shopping. I got my desired things and went on my way. And I won’t be back. This makes no sense. Get your snoot out of the air. And tell your clientele to do the same. IT’S A GROCERYSTORE!

This Schnucks is different than most. It had a very small lot to work with, so it has a different layout, but it doesn’t feel cramped. It still has all the things you have come to expect with modern day Schnucks. It is a welcome addition to the area for sure!

Overall, this is a pleasant grocery store to shop. I was happy to hear that the newest Schnucks would be down the street. The produce is well laid out and supplied. The meat counter is also well stocked and like the rest of the staff, friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of the grocery store is like a grocery store. I am getting use to the store layout, and find the island of pre-sliced deli meats refrigerator cases a bit of an oddity that is becoming common in the area. The pharmacy is rather fast and friendly, requiring 10 minutes to fill a new Rx, giving me time to walk around to the café area. The café area has an extra entrance — not sure why. There is second story seating(which I have yet to check out) like the Mezz in the Deirberg’s store in Des Peres off Manchester( ). I was able to resist getting something from the café but their prices seemed reasonable, with a large selection of the standard fares. I could foresee using their café foods for when I do not feel like making dinner but I do not anticipating going to Schnucks to just grab a quick bite unless I am hungry while grocery shopping and want to stop the hunger-impulse purchases. This new, clean, and friendly Schnucks has become my go-to for the standard grocery stores and local pharmacy(when I am not going to TJ’s or Aldi’s).
