My wife goes to reflections for facial work she loves the work, but can not stand being in a place with groupon clients. Last week she came home and we looked up Unilocal reviews, and saw all bad reviews from groupon people. I dont think I want my wife returning to a business who services groupon people. I have heard this every were. Groupon people are bad business

INTRO: I bought a Groupon or Living Social Deal to Reflections about a year ago. CONS: The deal was $ 99 for six treatments of a small area and the fine print said nothing about light hair being an issue, but apparently they can’t work with light hair. They talked me into a $ 199 for a medium area and I started treatments that day. They told me upfront that I would likely need to buy another 6 treatments to see the best results. Now I wish I had asked for a refund due to the info missing from the fine print– what you get with 6 treatments is not what I would call $ 199 worth of hair removal. Treatment hurts a little to a lot depending on the setting of the laser. I had a blemish on one area at my last treatment and tears were brought to my eyes with that zap. I wish she had taken care to avoid that particular spot initially. Reflections has had 3 locations over the course of my treatments. The first was in Chesterfield and very close to my work. I went there twice. Then Reflections moved to Clayton but when I came in they told me they were moving to Brentwood because the current location didn’t have enough power to support laser hair removal. They’ve moved about fifteen miles from the first location and entirely out of my way, so getting the treatments are less than convenient and are actually costing me more time and gas(30 miles round trip per treatment) than I find worthwhile. The current office has no bathroom– you have to borrow a key and use one in the hall. I find it odd for any kind of spa, even a medspa, not to have a convenient bathroom for its clients. PROS: The estheticians who provided the treatment kept it nice and brief. I have seen some decrease in the amount of hair in the area, though not as much as I would like for what I paid. I understand that I paid for treatments, not for results, but the results were disappointing. Reflections was good about scheduling my appointments at whatever time I needed and accomodated my schedule changes too. There was never anyone else in Reflections when I was there in the mid-afternoon. The receptionist gives me a strange vibe. I don’t know what it is about her, but I never felt at ease when waiting to be seen or to leave. I’m thinking of purchasing another package, but I will probably wait for another deal of the day and even then I might just go with Ideal Image since I’ve heard nicer things about it.

I GOT A SECONDDEGREEBURNONMYLIPFROMTHEIRLASER. I bought a Groupon and decided to get laser hair removal. During my treatment, I felt my lip pop and looked in the mirror first chance I got to find that the laser had burned my lip. This was my third treatment. I have not returned and after all three visits have seen no change in anything. My roommate bought a Groupon with me and completed all of her treatments. She found the Groupon to be a waste of money and did not see any difference afterwards either. DONTWASTEYOURMONEY.

I’ve been to Reflections three times now for laser hair removal that I initially purchased on Groupon. I have always received excellent service from the front desk to the Physician Assistant administering the laser hair removal treatment. The staff is very professional and I really enjoy how quickly the treatments are completed(60 minutes for initial consultation and treatment of 2 areas and 30 minutes for each of the other appointments). I am certainly enjoying the amazing results I’ve seen so far!
