For a chain it has ok fried rice… unlike panda express which is totally azz trash Great wall of chain: lots of chocolate cake… kind of pricey for a single piece tho: 3.5÷5 Fried rice 3⁄5

I consider things very carefully before I write a negative review because there are so many on social media and a lot of them are based on silly things. But my husband and I just spent $ 65 on the most mediocre Chinese food ever and I should have known better. How is it possible to order 6 pork dumplings(not hot – not even warm), one order of Mongolian beef(not hot – not close to warm), «salt and pepper» prawns(Prawns are large shrimp – these were ordinary sized shrimp.)and 2 iced teas – and spend that much money?! How do families justify going there? May I add that the shrimp dish had absolutely nothing else(no vegetables of any kind) accompanying it. And although food is of course so subjective, honestly, the beef had texture but truly, no discernible beef flavor. It was really a weird experience. The ONLY saving grace was the wonderful server – Susan. How she wastes her talents there are beyond me. Also, in the above description of price that Unilocal assigns to restaurants using dollar signs – how can Pf Chang’s possibly be considered $$ !!!

Had a miserable experience here, Was served food I didn’t order, but when I asked to send it back and speak with the manager the worthless manager insisted how that couldn’t have happened. Insisted that the waitress was correct in what she heard… not that the customer knew what he’d ordered. Despite the others at the table saying she/the kitchen had made a mistake. Because we were with another couple we let it go. My meal wasn’t served, the others had already eaten. I’ll never go back here. Couldn’t rate it Zero.

First off, the silverware was absolutely filthy. I came in a party of 10 and half of us had nasty silverware with dried food on it. They didn’t wash their dishes properly. Secondly, it was probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life. I felt like I was eating limp, overcooked cheap pasta with a few peanuts on top of it and no seasoning or sauce. The egg drop soup was so greasy I felt like I was drinking oil and the chocolate wontons I had for desert were soupy and nasty, like someone poured hot chocolate into a fried piece of dough, making it soggy. The lettuce wrap appetizer that I have heard friends recommend was like eating straight salt in a piece of tasteless lettuce. Everyone in our party agreed that cheap Chinese chains like«Panda Express» taste WAY better and none of us were impressed with P.F. Changs at all. Plus, the food was incredibly overpriced. I definitely will never be back.

It’s hit or miss for us. Sometimes the food is great, other times, not so good. In other words… there’s no consistency. Not a great trait for a restaurant to have(especially one that’s not cheap).

My personal favorite. The dumplings are awesome and they make the absolute best hot and sour soup.

Disgusting atmosphere. The floor was soaking wet, and when I took off my shoes and socks to dry out because they had been soiled, and the manager told me to put them back on! Gross. My waitress was very nice, though.

The Buddha feast and lettuce wraps are excellent! Service was wonderful. My only complaint is that the restaurant is always cold. This was my 4th time there and it has been cold every time.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a PF Changs. The service was terrible, the food was horrible, and the attitude was beyond bad. Don’t waste your time going to this Pf Changs. I have been here several times in the last two years. It has gone downhill so bad. It is like dining at a bad north St. Louis atmosphere. Figure out what that means!

Occasionally when we drive by, the distinct aroma of Chinese food calls us to stop in, but we rarely actually go, because the food is often just ok, and quite overpriced. We went to dinner here a few nights ago. I ordered the Coconut Cooler(coconut milk, coconut water and simple syrup) to drink, as it sounded a bit different, but it was garnished with a pineapple slice and tasted of pineapple juice, in addition to the coconut. So it seemed to have turned into a piña colada. For apps, we ordered the salt & pepper calamari. It was good, and the dipping sauce was very nice and tangy, but there is a more-than-ample bed of decorative noodles that almost seem to laugh at you as you finish the last of the small quantity of calamari that rests atop. The hot and sour soup was quite salty, lacking in sour, and not as fresh or as good as what you would find at any local Chinese joint. We ordered Sweet & Sour Pork and Pork Fried Rice. The portion size of the S&SP was smaller than one would expect, and the pork itself tasted and looked like white meat chicken. The fried rice was almost completely devoid of flavor, particularly the«wok hei» that is of particular importance in Chinese cooking. Our little«P.F.Chang’s for Two» was completed by the Chocolate Raspberry Wontons, which were excellent in flavor, but the filling was so tiny. Service was ok. Overall, way overpriced and lackluster, and not recommended.

I feel the quality of the food has declined in recent years. I know it’s a chain restaurant and that is noted in my expectations but the food is SOSALTY. I left thirsty and couldn’t get enough water the rest of the night. I woke up the next morning with my lips still dry and salty. The service at this one is also spotty at best. Sorry PF Changs.

We just had an awesome dining experience with our two sons at PF Changs! The manager, Jeremy, was beyond accommodating. Our older son even acknowledged to us about the outstanding service we received from Jeremy. It’s wonderful when a restaurant with great, healthy food options surprises us with service being above and beyond.

I wish I could say that the sometimes crappy service took a star away from the rating but the food more than makes up for it. Tonight we enjoyed lettuce wraps, dumplings, crab wontons, mongolian beef, changs spicy chicken, and dessert wontons… all top notch!

Beautiful restaurant. Good food but too expensive for what you get. This will be a one time experience for me. We had sweet and sour chicken with white rice, Chicken lomain and dynamite crab rolls. Like I said good but not great.

Everything was great except the Family Restroom door will not close all the way and one stall in women’s restroom was out of order. Starting to show its age

High quality Chinese dine in restaurant(good for dates) Higher quality cut meats and vegetables, fresher(maybe?) Smaller portions put on nice plates and presented better than your average Chinese take out Higher prices. Thats pretty much PF Changs, taste wasn’t anything better than normal Chinese takeout, so if you want a more date like atmosphere for Chinese, this is your place, but for the price and amount I would definitely recommend a different place

I don’t like admitting to be the type of person who eats at P F Changs, because there are so many other cool places to go in Saint Louis that aren’t chains and that don’t have ridiculously long waits. I’m sort of embarrassed to say it, but the food is good. We went last night for the first time in a year or so. I had called that morning about getting a reservation and the earliest time they could give us was 8pm, so we decided to take our chances. My family went int around 6pm and was told there was a 45 minute wait. Even after hopefully watching a few groups ahead of us give up and walk out, our wait did end up being 40 minutes. I’m always impressed when hostesses get their wait times right, so way to go ladies. We were so hungry we ordered our appetizer and meals at the same time we ordered our drinks and the wantons were out within ten minutes. They were tasty, and had an impressive amount of crab meat in them. Our main courses came out in decent time, and as always they were all huge portions. Everyone got to try each other’s dish and we were all pleased. We also had leftovers, which makes you feel a little better about the bill. Two meals for the price of one! Our waitress was clearly slammed but she was constantly coming by to fill up drinks and see if we needed anything. I have several food allergies and she took them seriously, which I’ve noticed is a consistent concern at P F Changs. Ever since they came out with the GF mens, the servers usually ask about food allergies, and those of us who have them greatly appreciate it! I’ve worked in several restaurants, and one thing I always look for is managers on the floor. I’m very unimpressed if I go a whole meal and never see a manager checking up on the front of house. I saw one there last night several times. He wasn’t interacting with customers but he was helping the servers and checking in with the hostesses. I also noticed several waiters and hostesses on their phones. If P F Changs is trying to be a «higher end» chain, they may want to tell their workers to stay off their phones when diners can clearly see them. Yes, it is loud and yes, you will probably have to wait for a table. But the food is good and the atmosphere is kind of fun. The bar actually looked really great, I want to sit there next time. If you don’t feel like waiting you can always order take out.

Ran in for a quick late dinner, sat at the bar. Couldn’t decide what to order, I suppose I was too hungry. I sheepishly ordered the fried rice finally, and the bartender wound up making me feel great about ordering it! He said he ate it almost exclusively when he started working there, and it was still his favorite. I get it. It was really good! Flavorful, not greasy,(Oh, how important that is!) and had the perfect balance of ingredients. Served piping hot. Ah, how nice. The order was not inexpensive but was enormous! Since they wrap a lot of food to go, and have a brisk take-out business, my order was wrapped well, and I took it home to enjoy the next day. So great to not worry the bag and contents will not burst on the way home! Had one cocktail, and it was well crafted. I left happy.

Bartender Adam was great!!! He recommended a great drink and when he realized that I like it, he quickly printed the recipe out for me. You can’t get better than that:) As far as the restaurant goes, the food is average, and the portions are small for the price. Adam gets 5 stars but the rest of the experience would probably be a 3.
