Granite Transformations

Follow up on this — I went to small claims court — they were not bonded but I lost because the judge felt they were not responsible for the acts of their employees! So don’t let them in your door!
We had countertops and backsplash installed by Granite Transformations — It was a fairly painless experience and the product looks good — although not like it shows in the showroom.
Problem is — one of the installer stole jewelry from us and several other customers.
I received a call from Wildwood Police to check for missing items. I was missing a necklace.
I contacted the owner, Chuck Wiintermute to see about assuming his employees we insured and bonded. He told me his insurance did not cover things like this — Really — an employee of yours can go into a customers home and steal from them and you are not responsible for their actions?
I would not recommend using them to anyone — and don’t assume a company insures and bonds employees — make sure they do and ask to see the paperwork!
We have filed a complaint with the BBB but we will have to either turn this in to our insurance company or get an attorney!
Better to just not get involved with them at all!
