The atmosphere is wonderful, and great if you have a large party. The pizza is pretty good, but very greasy. I also am not a fan of how they drench everything in tomato sauce. Good bartenders.

We found a great place on our trip to Florida. The service was excellent, portion size was good and the food tasted great. I would recommend this restaurant. I had veal parm and salad. My wife had a salad with grilled shrimp.

I took my brother and sister-​in-​law here while I was in town on business.
The shrimp scampi was too peppery and lacked the strong garlic taste that one looks for in that dish.
The eggplant parmigiana was a cut rectangle from a larger pre-​cooked dish. It was not fresh or hot.
The veal scallopini was way too lemony for my taste.
On the other hand the desserts were close to fabulous-​cannoli, cheesecake and lemon sorbet. (The cheesecake was offered with dark chocolate sauce. It was Hersheys.”)
Finally, while the first cup of coffee was good, the second was weak and not very good.
I will not be returning.

I am new to the area and just tried their food for the first time. I have lived in 6 different states and have had pizza at dozens of restaurants and this pizza is easily in my top 5 of all time. If their pizza is any indication of the quality of the rest of their food, I can’t wait to try the next items on their menu. If you are in the area and looking for some good food, this is a must!

All around decent food and service. Recommended by our hotel as we are out of towners, did not disappoint. Portions were large. My son had a small pepperoni pizza that was too much to handle even with help. Husband and I had Stromboli, they can be customized and come with a big side of sauce, eat the middle two pieces and toss the ends and that is still plenty. My daughter had scampi. It allowed for scallops or shrimp, but didn’t have and tomatoes or spinach in the dish, but tails were off and salad came with. All in all we enjoyed it, and I work in an Italian restaurant… That being said service was average and not a big bar. Very casual but could be decent for date night too. If I lived in town I would definitely go again!

Weekday stay in Richmond, this restaurant was recommended. It has a nice atmosphere. Service was fair; food was good, but not great. Portion size was good. Would try again to see if it improved.

Terrible.
I had the soft shell crab special. It was horrible. I’ll describe it: A soggy mess of nasty tasting goo which smelled horrible and had so much lemon in the sauce it was like lemonaide.
The Caesar salad was horrible. LOTS of cheese… that was not really good parmesan, and it was all clumped up on the bottom of the bowl.
The veal parmesan was described to me by my friend as: It tasted like really bad bread”.
Its certainly a MISS.

Really enjoyed this pizza. Good mozzerella sticks too. Nicer interior than you’d expect. One of the better choices for this area if you’re passing through and need something in Chester. Wished we lived closer to this one.

I am only giving it 2 stars because they are a good place for large partys. I ordered the lasagna and it came out cold and tasted bland. The red tomato sauce all around the plate was not desirable. I should have ate at home. This is one restaurant that won’t get a revisit from me.

I need to stop giving this place a try. Today, I tried to order a hot ham sub. Something simple for a traveler. After waiting 17 minutes, I asked for it to go instead. When I opened up the togo package, the sub was cold. Too many things like this have happened over the years and this time, I am done.

People really truly utilize the event and private party rooms. We watched a wedding segue into a reception on a Friday night, and it wasn’t totally terrible. Cute idea actually.
Outside of the wedding, the dining room was full and busy. We ordered calamari, which had incredibly seasoned breading. We also ordered steak fries and the chicken parmesan sub. I thought they were great.
I liked the neighborhood-​feel of this restaurant, as well. It’s in the boonies in the middle of Chester, and a nice surprise.

This place was really good! We had pizza, salad, tiramisu and fried banana & caramel cheesecake that was out of this world. The service was awesome. Waitress was timely, polite, attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area. I thought the prices were very good too.

I would give this restaurant a higher score for their pizza, but even that fell short tonight.
I ordered takeout and they gave me an old, stale pizza. I should’ve picked up on the clue when they said it would be ready in 10 minutes.
The service here is unfriendly too.

Pizza was tasty but very skimpy on the pepperoni which was the only thing we ordered on our pizza. Also a little on the pricy side for a pizza. This was our only visit here and maybe next time, it will be better.

My experience only lasted about 5 minutes over the phone. We had a large catering order to be filled as we had around 40 people to feed. It was for a Saturday night at 6 PM. The first thing the lady told me was that it would be difficult because it is our dinner time and we are very busy. Yes, well it was our dinner time too and it is a takeout restaurant. Next, I asked if they could deliver the food, they said no because it was their dinner service. I asked about what their catering menu said about delivery (20% fee for orders over $ 300). I said thank you called Rosa’s and they were pleasant and extremely helpful and their delivery which they were happy to do at dinner time was 5%. Rosas ended up getting dinner on Friday for about 20 and Saturday for about 40 people.

I ordered a take out pizza from Cesare’s on 10÷12÷13. This continues to be this restaurant’s saving grace. Their pizzas are great– easily the best of the few that cater to the immediate area.
I still find most of their Italian dishes to be mediocre. The spaghetti sauce they use in most of their dishes is non-​offensive, at best. There is little real Italian flavor to be found and that, to me, is at the heart of all great Italian food. They tend to be bland and seem almost like their canned counterparts (eg– Prego, Ragu, etc).
Stick to their (somewhat pricey) pizzas. It’s what they do best, IMHO.
I can’t comment on their service because I don’t usually eat-​in.
