Applebee’s

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. I love Applebee’s but this location is absolutely awful. I would know because I’ve been here 20 or more times over three years and I’m stupid enough to believe the next time I go, that things will be different. The ONLY reason we keep coming back is for the half price apps after 9. Several times we have been kept waiting at the door for far too long. Most of the wait staff is less than attentive and the good waiter and waitresses leave this place quite quickly. The last girl was fighting with her boyfriend behind us at a table and that seems a little inappropriate. We came on our last visit hoping to watch the Washington Capitals playoff game. We asked the waitress if they could turn one of the six TVs to the game and she said she would ask the bartender. After attempting to change one of the TVs the bartender gave up and didn’t change it to the Caps game (I guess operating the TV guide menu is complicated?). Three out of the six TVs were on the same channel and two of the others were showing a replay of college football and tennis. Who goes to a bar to watch tennis! Absolutely no one. Each time we’ve been the service has been quite slow. A reorder on a beer can take as much as ten minutes and often the beer is left on top of the bar to get warm while your waiter or waitress is being inattentive. The fact that management doesn’t reply to all the negative reviews should be a sign that they simply don’t care that their restaurant is less than mediocre. Oh well, maybe next time will be different.

Placed a pick up order, they told me everything was there. And when i got home my entire entrée was missing. Had to watch my wife eat while i made myself dinner. When i called they said they would send me a goft card. Has been a month yet to receive one.

Lemme be clear I don’t think any Applebee’s is worth 4 stars but there is something great about his location. Understand that I’m extremely careful with choosing from the menu as anyone visiting Applebee’s should be and I always sit at the bar. Which is probably the only reason I’m even writing this review. Tiffany will always take care of business and my food is always good. More so than other locations. Again, I am very choosy about the food bc this chain of restaurants has really shitty food if you pick the wrong thing. Come here and sit at the bar if Tiffany is here and it will be a good stop.

Sevice is fair but not great. Food is ok if you are passing though. Location is 2 minutes off of I-​95. Bathroom is always messy. Not very good place to come if you are a local. They changed Happy hour to 6 so they dropped an hour for no good reason since they didn’t offer much anyways. Bartenders are very good, fast service.

The food was very good. I ordered the clubhouse grille and it was delicious! The tomato basil soup was very good. My husband’s always likes the chopped chicken salad. Our server was very nice and did a great job. I only gave them 2 stars because the women’s restroom was nasty. It smelled bad. The toilet was dirty and the sink had a ring around it. I’ve been in gas stations with cleaner bathrooms.

I love Applebee’s! I’m a big fan of their perfect Margarita and half off appetizers after 9pm on weekdays! But EVERY time I come to this particular location there has been a problem! First time my mother in-​law found a piece of metal in her French onion soup. The manager was very unfriendly about the whole situation. 2^nd time I was with a group of friends and there were bugs in my drink and when we got the to go box there where dead bugs in there too! But the manager this time was very nice and handled the situation professionally. This Saturday I would have to say was the straw that broke the camel’s back. AGAIN there was a bug in my drink. And there was so much going back and forth with the manager that I can honestly say I’m done with Applebee’s as a whole!

I’ve had worse, but not much. The drinks came. Both my tea and water had things floating in them that I can promise you were not ice. (In the tea was tea leaves but I digress) They brought a new water. Same problem. My third glass not only had the unwelcome floaters but the outside of the glass was gross with god-​knows-​what. The only people where were not completely dissatisfied were my mother and husband. (They both had the ribs) my bothers steak was supposed to be medium, but what he got I’m not even sure I could describe as rare, a good veterinarian might have been able to save it. My alfredo sause and chicken tasted like something reheated from the freezer section. And my daughters silverware was dirty. The only positive notes were that the appetizers were pretty good and so were the fries so if your planning snacks and alcohol go for it, just check to make sure your glass is clean.

UNFRIENDLY WELCOME! We had just traveled over 600 miles and were starving. We were unfamiliar with the area and decided to go here because we’ve had plesant dining experiences at other locations. The host that, I would love to say greeted us, was just the wrong face to represent this restaurant. He clearly did not enjoy his job and walked us to our table with a DIVA attitude (just imagine a lot of neck snapping and eye rolling and he was attempting to strut down a fashion runway). This didn’t end with the entrance. As he cleaned tables near us, his attitude continued with all the customers he encountered. We even oberved his crappy attitude with other employees. Enough of that, he sucked!
We ordered the Bourbon Black & Bleu Burger, Shrimp Scampi, Soup and Sandwich combo and the Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salad. Unfortunately the burger did not come as ordered. The soup tasted like canned soup. The chicked was soso. The shirmp scampi was the only good dish.

I never like going to this Applebee’s. One way or another I will end up with some form of bad to not very good service. The servers are nice enough but the overall service is so slow. Food is standard Applebee’s but if you are looking for prompt service this is not the one to go to.

Dingy, even for a chain. Smells funky, floors dirty, and the staff does not really seem to care for business-​an interruption to their day. The food is bland, no matter what you get. Service is slow.
Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Slow but friendly service. Good iced tea.
Generally average food, but could barely eat the steak. It was unappetizing looking as steaks go. Grill marks but very little char. Chewing turned it into a gelatinous mass. It wouldn’t go away, couldn’t be swallowed, and had to be spit out and hidden in the broccoli (there’s a mental image).
Won’t go back.

Day time bartender is the only thing this place has going for it. Great service and she makes sure your order is what you ordered and how you wanted it.

I haven’t been to Applebee’s in over five years because of the food quality, glad to see they have upped their game!
The establishment is different, the set up, style the whole nine yards though I’m not sure it’s because I haven’t been there in so long so it might just be new to me. The hostess and waitress both were very nice and did a good job. The food was a lot better though our appetizer was the spinach artichoke dip and the chips were all starting to get stale (that half way of some chips are stale some not quite). We got the two for $ 20 deal, my girlfriend got the chicken alfredo pasta thing (I really can’t remember exactly what it was) and I got the chicken shrimp potato thing on a skillet (again sorry can’t remember it was a couple days ago when we went) both turned out really well.
My only issue was the beer, my Sam Adams tasted great, my girlfriend’s Miller Lite was waaaay over carbonated which means the CO2 tank pressure is too high. This ruins the beer and makes the drinker bloated. So Applebee’s get another tank if you’re sharing the beer through one or if you have a bartender that likes the play with the PSI on the tank tell them to stop playing with the regulator :)

OK I’m moving them up one star. We went here Sunday after church for lunch. And it also was Mother’s day to boot. So when we walked in we greeted and then we were seated. Took the waitress about five mins to get to us as she was tending to another table. When she got to us we ordered our drinks and had made our decisions on what we all wanted. So she goes off to get our drinks and drop our orders off. So when our food is delivered it looks right darn good for Apple Bees. My wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak and she said it was good. And her friend got the grilled chicken salad which look very fresh. And her son got fried green tomato club and when it was over it was gone. So it must have been very very good. Now I got the Ruben and it was very good but could’ve used a little more sauerkraut. Now they ordered dessert the Blondie and it they scarfed it down. Now the reason for the up grade is they got everything right the first time. Second is our waitress did a very good job glass were always topped off, and if we asked she delivered. Better then last time here so we will see where this will go.

I arrived at opening for lunch — first customer through the door.
Ordered the chicken parmigiana, which is served over pasta. Thought the preparation time was a bit slow. Chicken was a good sized portion and good taste. Pasta didn’t have enough sauce to the point that some of the «naked» pasta was sticking together.
Server was slow to refill my beverage as she brought a refill a moment before I would have been empty.
Not a terrible experience, but I have certainly had better.

The service is always slow and mediocre. The food isn’t anything spectacular either. This is not a well managed Applebee’s.

thanks Theresa W. for the great service :) When I was there visiting a bad storm came in and someone hit a pole and the lights went out in the place, it did not stop us, we still ate and had fun. Wonderful service with a smile and a few jokes. Wonderful food and drinks and service.
