The Skinny Dip Frozen Yogurt Bar

No frills froyo! Had a good selection of flavors and a myriad of toppings! Clean and quiet great group dessert place after I had dinner with my friends nearby!
My favorite were the strawberry juice poppers! Definitely add those for an extra POP!

I am only giving this review one star because it won’t let me put anything less. We had the most horrible experience of our life at this skinny dip location. We are avid frozen yogurt lovers. We hit up the Greenbrier skinny dip location after working out. I was super excited about the cake batter option! We got two of the small cups and my boyfriend put one small swirl of vanilla and that was it. No toppings. I got one small swirl of cake batter, one swirl of strawberry, and a very small amount (drop) of the Nutella yogurt. Neither one of us got toppings. When we got to the counter (Cierra) rung us up. $ 14.51. We were both shocked. We hardly had any ice cream in these small cups. I hesitantly paid. We went outside and immediately starting pondering how such little amount of frozen yogurt could cost so much. We’ve been to other skinny dips before, gotten much more and paid less than what we did for these two tiny cups. My boyfriend went back inside to inquire while I sat outside and snapped pics of the cups. In the meantime a gentleman came out of the store with the large cup filled to the top and he had it loaded full of toppings (looked like mostly nuts). I asked him how much he paid for his cup. He said a little under $ 7!!! Both of our cups combined were probably a little less than what he had in his entire cup! That customer even told us to go back in because we got ripped off! Well… when we did. We were scolded and yelled at! Cierra was nice and kept her composure but her manager was an absolute jerk. I asked when the manager would be in because the way he was talking to us by yelling at us and basically saying we were idiots was very unprofessional. Well, he is the manager as he told us so by screaming «I am the manager, so now what are you going to do huh». I then asked when the owner would be in and he informed me noon the next day but I would be waisting my time since he knows the owner very well and «he’s going to tell me the same damn thing». The manager kept raising his voice at me as I was trying my best to explain to him what had happened. My boyfriend was so upset with the Manager yelling at me he started yelling at him back. I was so embarrassed. While I am upset that my boyfriend raised his voice back at the manager, the only reason it got that far is because the manager was yelling at me! My boyfriend held his tongue but the clear disrespect made it escalate. Looking at the receipt after getting home it clearly shows she charged us for the weight twice! My boyfriend and I put both our cups up there together to be weighed and she hit (2). So we were actually right. If the manager had taken the time to look at the receipt instead of screaming at us and telling us there is nothing he could do then he would have realized it was a simple mistake. I don’t mind paying the extra $ 7 but at this point I am not sure if these employees were trying to scam us or what. Do they do this to people all day and make extra $$$. I am so upset! I feel disrespected, I feel like the manager automatically assumed I was trying to get something for free. He was judging us most likely because we were in our gym clothes! I even told him I don’t care about paying for it, I just wanted him to look at the receipt and see that it was wrong. Instead of looking at the receipt when we put it on the counter her ran off screaming and grabbed a big cup and filled it with ice cream and came back to weigh it!!! Only 1.98 worth. And that was a little less than what my boyfriend had in his cup!!! When we saw that was only 1.98 we were so upset because we hadn’t gotten much more. We asked for them to please look at the receipt and Cierra knew how much yogurt we had gotten because she rang us up. Instead they proceeded to tell us we must have gotten a lot!!! We didn’t! But I forgot.
The customer is ALWAYS wrong! Stay away from this place, the manager is horrible and will yell at you! Also, he basically implied I’m fat and I eat a lot! Nope… I just wanted a healthier option after a workout!

I would give it more stars if their froyo selection had more flavors. They tend to have diff kinds of vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. Pretty basic.

Great locale for a froyo. The flavor selection is pretty standard but they have a great selection of well stocked toppings and it was tidy. What more can I say… It’s a chain yogurt shop so pretty run-​of-​the-​mill y’all. Enjoy!

Glad that they moved into this new location. Foot traffic is probably more promising and it’s easier to get in and out of than at Sam’s Circle. It’s also a bit bigger.
To me Skinny Dip has the best and most plentiful variety of both yogurt flavors and toppings of any frozen yogurt competitors around. It’s hard to pass this place up on most summer days! I could honestly eat it as a meal — OK, so I HAVE eaten it in lieu of your typical lunch before. I may even have it for dinner tonight since it’s nearing 100 degrees today! Don’t judge!

No bad. After we had lunch the other day we started joking around that some ice cream would be good. Then we realized that it really wasn’t a joke, some ice cream really would be good! It just so happens that this Skinny Dip location is walking distance from our office so after we parked the vehicle we walked over and grabbed a cup before walking back to work.
I went with something that was like a double dark chocolate flavor that really good and added Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to it… Bliss. Pure Bliss… I have to apologize for not taking a photo here. It was half gone by the time I realized I hadn’t taken a picture. Next time for sure, I promise!
